Data collection techniques through validation tests by expert judgment, namely language experts, educational evaluation experts, and experts in the field of basic education. The results showed that it was in the very feasible category based on the validation test with an average percentage of 95%. The results of the limited trial of the literacy diagnostic assessment instrument pointed to a very feasible category. By exceeding the specified standards, it indicates that the diagnostic assessment of students' literacy is considered qualified and very feasible to be used as a learning resource for elementary school students.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) on repurchase intentions for products from Mbah Blangkon Yogyakarta MSME. The study aims to explore the roles of customer loyalty and satisfaction as mediating variables in this relationship. Additionally, it seeks to apply the AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, and Share) framework to better understand how e-WOM influences consumer decision-making processes. Methodology: The research approach used was quantitative, with purposeful sampling procedures. Data were acquired through surveys from Mbah Blangkon Yogyakarta consumers who had made more than five transactions in the previous three months, offered good feedback, and evaluated the products highly. Data was analyzed using SEM-PLS, with a total of 110 respondents. Results: The study reveals that e-WOM has a positive and significant impact on repurchase intentions, both directly and mediated by customer loyalty and satisfaction. Specifically, the quality of e-WOM enhances repurchase intentions, whereas the quantity of e-WOM negatively affects them. Conclusions: Electronic word of mouth has a good and significant impact on repeat sales because customer reviews provide useful information about the product. In the context of this study, customer loyalty and satisfaction serve as a median for recurrent purchases, which are positive and significant. Another finding from this study is that loyalty has a significant impact on repeat sales since consumers are willing to go to further lengths to obtain the goods. Limitations: This study has several limitations: it focuses on a single MSME in Yogyakarta, which may limit generalizability. Additionally, it relies on self-reported data. Finally, the research examines only specific variables related to e-WOM. Contribution: Managerial implications indicate that Mbah Blangkon MSME can use e-WOM as an effective marketing technique to increase repurchase intentions through customer loyalty and satisfaction. The AISAS model can help in designing targeted digital marketing efforts. This research provides valuable insights for business practitioners in leveraging e-WOM to enhance customer relationships.

Abstract

Pesantren, as an integral part of Indonesia's educational and cultural heritage, faced unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges included adapting their management and teaching methods to sustain their dual objectives: spiritual development and life skills-based education. This study examines the educational management strategies implemented by a girls' pesantren in Sleman, Yogyakarta, focusing on life skills education. Using a qualitative research design, data were collected through purposive sampling, participatory observation, and structured interviews with key stakeholders, including the pesantren's founder and educators. The study employs the ADDIE framework"”planning, organizing, implementation, and control"”to evaluate life skills-based educational management. The findings reveal that while the planning and organizing stages align with the institution's strategic goals, the implementation and supervision require improvement in terms of documentation and task formalization. Nevertheless, the application of practical learning and direct mentoring has effectively enhanced the students' independence and vocational competencies. This study contributes by providing a replicable life skills-based educational management model for similar pesantren and serves as a reference for policymakers in improving the quality of pesantren education in the future.

Abstract

The research investigates how Total Quality Management (TQM) influences company performance, with customer satisfaction acting as a mediator and the Just In Time (JIT) concept functioning as a moderator. This study specifically targets micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and craft industries in Yogyakarta. With a quantitative methodology, the study uses purposive and non-probability sampling techniques to collect data from 125 participants in DI Yogyakarta. The Smart-PLS application is used to analyze data using structural equation modeling (SEM) methods. The findings showed that total quality management (TQM) significantly improves positive effect both customer satisfaction and business perfomance. However, there is also a strong positive correlation between customer satisfaction and business performance. Other results show that the JIT variable improves business performance, but has a negative and insignificant impact in moderating the effect of TQM that it can actually weaken MSMEs TQM. MSMEs' commitment to maintaining product quality is the main thing that affects customer satisfaction and improves business performance. Thus, strict supervision is needed in the production process, including quality data collection, supplier selection, employee training, production timeliness, as well as regular inspections.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to determine what factors can affect cashless payments to students in Yogyakarta. This research is important because there is a research gap from previous studies.Methodology: This study used a purposive sampling technique and the data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires to respondents by a Google Form with answers using 5-point Likert scale. A sample of 108 respondents was obtained. The collected data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with the help of SmartPLS 4 Software.Finding: The empirical test results showed that consumer knowledge had no effect on cashless decisions nor was it mediated by service features. Meanwhile, convenience had a significant positive effect on cashless decisions and service features were able to mediate the relationship between convenience and cashless decisions. Furthermore, service features had a significant positive effect on cashless e-Wallet decisions for students in Yogyakarta. Conclusion: Having a high level of knowledge did not increase student decisions to pay in cashless, this indicates a low level of community literacy. This finding can be interpreted that students feel that the e-Wallet cashless payment service features are easy to access, have various transaction features and services, and the many product innovations provided by e-Wallet can influence students to decide to pay cashless.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenges and needs of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia, who encounter issues such as poor living conditions, limited healthcare access, inadequate education, and insufficient legal protection. Wage disparities and job availability in Indonesia drive migration to neighboring countries, but a lack of skills often results in serious problems like job mismatches, human trafficking, and illegal labor. The aim of this community services is to identify the initial needs for developing the Indonesian international migrant community in Malaysia, with synergy between Indonesian universities and international students in Malaysia. The study employs a qualitative approach through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with migrant workers. Findings indicate that many migrants live in inadequate housing with limited access to clean water and sanitation. They also face significant barriers to accessing healthcare, education for their children, and legal protection. Recommendations include improving housing conditions, enhancing healthcare access, providing formal education for migrant children, ensuring legal protection, and promoting economic empowerment through entrepreneurship and financial management training. Effective development and improved welfare for migrants require collaboration between the government, NGOs, universities, and local communities.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices and leadership behavior on workforce performance at PT IB, with job satisfaction investigated as a potential mediating factor. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed to assess these organizational relationships. The findings reveal that OHS practices significantly enhance both employee performance and job satisfaction. At the same time, leadership behavior positively affects job satisfaction but does not directly impact performance. Contrary to expectations, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between OHS, leadership, and performance outcomes. These results underscore the critical role of robust OHS implementation and practical leadership approaches in fostering workforce satisfaction and productivity. These findings underscore the crucial role of robust OHS implementation and practical leadership approaches in boosting workforce satisfaction and productivity. Organizational management should therefore prioritize workplace safety and leadership development as key drivers of employee performance.
