Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching performance quality of lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Universitas Sains Al-Qur'an using an artificial intelligence system based on the K-Means Clustering algorithm. Evaluating lecturer performance is a crucial step in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the teaching process which includes pedagogical, professional, personality, and social indicators. Conventional approaches are often complex and ineffective in identifying in-depth performance patterns. The K-Means Clustering algorithm enables the grouping of evaluation data into clusters based on feature similarities, thus revealing patterns that are difficult to discern manually. The data used in this study comes from lecturer evaluation questionnaires completed by students during the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The results showed that the clustering process yielded good separation with a Silhouette Score of 0.593 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 0.606. These findings indicate that the data within the clusters are more similar to each other than to data in different clusters, suggesting effective clustering. The insights gained from this study are expected to be valuable for the management and development of teaching quality and to promote the use of artificial intelligence technology in higher education evaluations. The findings of this study are also expected to be adaptable by other educational institutions to improve academic excellence standards and produce high-quality graduates.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the villages of Wonosobo are the backbone of the local economy, but they face significant challenges such as market accessibility, infrastructure, and limited human resources. One of the main obstacles is the difficulty in shipping goods, with reliance on local motorcycle taxis that are not always available and have limited capacity, leading to increased costs and delays. This challenge is globally relevant with the rise of electronic commerce and the demand for fast delivery. Understanding the local difficulties in shipping goods is key to designing the right solutions. The author proposes developing a web-based shipping information system in Wonosobo Regency, utilizing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in each village as agents. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature study. The development method used is the Waterfall method, with alpha and beta testing to ensure system reliability and usability before market launch. This system aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of goods delivery through digitalization.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges of personal data security in the digital era, focusing on encryption technology and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in protecting personal data in an increasingly complex digital environment. Adopting a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines 91 articles obtained from IEEE Xplore and ScienceDirect to identify trends and challenges in personal data security, particularly in the context of cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). The results show that although encryption technology and AI offer advanced solutions, major challenges remain in the implementation of global regulations such as GDPR and differences in policies and infrastructure across countries. This study also discusses potential solutions such as blockchain and the implementation of adaptive encryption to address weaknesses in personal data security.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi risiko banjir menggunakan algoritma XGBoost dengan memanfaatkan dataset yang tersedia di Kaggle. Dataset tersebut mencakup berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi risiko banjir seperti kualitas bendungan, pengikisan sistem drainase, longsor, dan hilangnya lahan basah. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data, diikuti oleh preprocessing yang meliputi penanganan missing values, pemilihan fitur menggunakan regresi untuk memastikan fitur yang paling berpengaruh, dan normalisasi data. Model XGBoost kemudian dilatih dengan data yang telah diproses dan dievaluasi menggunakan beberapa metrik evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa model memiliki performa yang sangat baik dengan nilai Cross-Validation RMSE sebesar 0.00097, Mean Squared Error (MSE) sebesar 1.0336, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) sebesar 0.001017, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) sebesar 0.000801, dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 0.1605%. Nilai-nilai ini mengindikasikan kesalahan prediksi yang relatif kecil. Visualisasi hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa model tidak memiliki bias sistematis dan kesalahan prediksi tersebar merata. Penelitian ini mendesak mengingat peningkatan frekuensi dan dampak banjir akibat perubahan iklim dan urbanisasi yang pesat. Model ini diharapkan dapat digunakan secara efektif untuk memberikan peringatan dini dan membantu dalam perencanaan tata ruang yang lebih baik untuk mengurangi dampak bencana banjir.

Abstract

This research aims to provide valuable insights for researchers and developers of the Visit Pemalang application, focusing on enhancing usability and user experience quality. To achieve this goal, several improvements are suggested, such as presenting appealing content and increasing user satisfaction to make the Visit Pemalang app more effective in meeting visitor needs and enhancing tourism experiences in Kabupaten Pemalang. The HEART Metrics method is utilized to measure user experience quality in the application, encompassing dimensions like Happiness, Engagement, Adoption, Retention, and Task Success. Data is collected through user observation and questionnaires tailored to the HEART Metrics dimensions. The analysis results indicate excellent performance in various HEART Metrics dimensions, particularly in Task Success, Engagement, and Happiness. Users can effectively complete tasks and feel content with their application experience. By implementing the findings from this study, developers can improve the usability and user experience quality of the Visit Pemalang application, elevate user satisfaction, and provide a superior tourism experience in Kabupaten Pemalang..

Abstract

Menstruation is blood that comes out of the farji (genitals) of a woman who is nine years old. In the book Risalah Haidl, it is explained that in several situations a Muslim woman who experiences menstruation is obliged to change her prayer. This Muslimah calendar aims to make it easier for users to predict the arrival of menstruation and record the prayer obligations incurred by a Muslimah. The algorithm implemented is the Time Series Forecasting Algorithm with Data Driven Prediction Exponential Smoothing Method, the sistem development method is waterfall, and the sistem design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). This application uses the Flutter framework. The result of this research is an application that can estimate the start date of the menstrual period, the start date of the holy period and reminders of prayers that have not been done.

Abstract

Penggunaan sistem informasi merupakan sebuah investasi yang pada umumnya tidaklah murah, oleh sebab itu guna mengetahui keberhasilan dari sistem informasi yang telah diimplementasikan maka sebuah evaluasi perlulah dilakukan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka penelitian tesis ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi sistem informasi yang telah diimplementasikan. Salah satu bentuk evaluasi terhadap sistem informasi adalah dengan mengukur kepuasan pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, Kualitas Layanan dan Partisipasi Pengguna terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna Sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner dalam memperoleh data dan informasi untuk dianalisis, dengan sampel sebanyak 38 orang. Analisa data dilakukan dengan analisa regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan Uji F untuk menguji kelayakan model dan Uji t digunakan untuk mengetahui signifikasi dari pengaruh variabel independen secara parsial terhadap  variabel dependen. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, Kualitas Layanan dan Partisipasi pengguna berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna Sistem secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini di bantu dengan software SPSS versi 21. Kata kunci :     Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, Kualitas layanan, Partisipasi User, Kepuasan Pengguna, Sistem Informasi Operasional VSAT IP.
