Abstract

ABSTRACT This research has conducted to determine the behavior of farmers in increasing income. To find out the amount of income for farming a red chili. This research has held in Kepahyang Village, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, from April to June 2019. The research method used was Survey. The sampling method used is the Census. Data collection methods used in this study were direct observation and interviews with respondents using a list of questions that had been prepare previously. The farmer's behavior, a qualitative descriptive analysis method, is used. Meanwhile, to calculate the amount of red chili income, the data obtained from the field are processed by tabulation, and mathematical analysis has used. The result showed that the farmer’s knowledge of the red chili farming system was still low. There is a positive attitude towards the farming system in farming red chili. Farmer’s skills in implementing farming systems in farming are still little. The income of the sample farmers in Kepahyang Village in the business of red chilies is Rp 4.906.131,25 expand arable. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perilaku petani dalam meningkatkan pendapatan. Untuk mengetahui besar pendapatan pada usahatani cabai merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kepahyang Kecamatan Lempuing Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir pada bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Survey. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah adalah Sensus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada responden dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Untuk menjawab rumusan masalah pertama yaitu perilaku petani digunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang kedua, yaitu menghitung besar pendapatan cabai merah, data yang diperoleh dari lapangan diolah secara tabulasi dan digunakan analisis secara matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan petani tentang sistem usahatani cabai merah masih rendah. Adanya sikap positif terhadap sistem usahatani dalam berusahatani cabai merah. Keterampilan petani dalam menerapkan sistem usahatani dalam berusahatani masih rendah. Pendapatan petani contoh di Desa Kepahyang dalam berusahatani cabai merah sebesar Rp 4.906.131,25 perluas garapan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the socio-economic and potential of poor farmer’s home industry in Gandus District, Palembang City. This research was conducted in the District of Gandus precisely in the Pulokerto Urban District of Palembang. The sampling method used was Purposive Sampling with respondents from Tidal land farmers in Gandus Subdistrict, Pulokerto Subdistrict. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and direct interviews with respondents using tools in the form of a list of questions that had been prepared in advance. Data analysis method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study note that income from farming on tidal land is insufficient for the needs of farmers and families, and the way farmers increase their income due to low income is by raising ducks.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Sosial Ekonomi dan Potensi Usaha Rumah Tangga Petani Miskin di Kecamatan Gandus Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Gandus tepatnya di Kelurahan Pulokerto Kota Palembang. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan responden petani Padi lahan Pasang Surut di Kecamatan Gandus Kelurahan Pulokerto. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara langsung kepada responden dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa daftar pertanyaan yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penghasilan dari bertani pada lahan pasang surut tidak mencukupi untuk kebutuhan hidup petani dan keluarga, dan cara petani meningkatkan pendapatan akibat rendahnya penghasilan yaitu dengan beternak itik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supply, supply, demand, and price fluctuations of rice on rice availability at the level of traditional wholesalers in Palembang City. This research was conducted in Pasar 16 Ilir and 3-4 Ulu Palembang. The sampling method used was total sampling with 50 respondents of rice traders in markets 16 Ilir and 3-4 Ulu Palembang. The data collection technique used in this study was to interview with distribute questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, it is known that the area of origin of supply, supply, demand, and fluctuations in rice prices have a significant effect on the availability of rice in the markets of 16 Ilir and 3-4 Ulu in Palembang City. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daerah asal pasokan, supply, demand, dan fluktuasi harga beras terhadap ketersediaan beras di tingkat pedagang besar tradisional di Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pasar 16 Ilir dan 3-4 Ulu Palembang. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah Total Sampling dengan responden pedagang beras yang ada di pasar 16 Ilir dan 3-4 Ulu Palembang yang berjumlah 50 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa bahwa daerah asal pasokan, supply, demand, dan fluktuasi harga beras berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketersediaan beras di pasar 16 Ilir dan 3-4 Ulu Kota Palembang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much income and income contribution from the brown sugar business to the household farmer’s oil palm income in Kertamukti Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in April 2021. The research method used was a survey, for the sampling method used. is the census method or saturated sample, the data collection method used is interviews and data processing in this study using quantitative analysis methods. From the research results, the average production obtained from oil palm farming is 4,025 Kg per month, in Kertamukti Village, Air Sugihan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency and the average income obtained from oil palm farming is Rp. 5,404,027 per month. Coconut farming income is Rp. 639,980 and from the results of the average brown sugar processing business is 93.75 Kg per month while the income is Rp. 1,922,974 per month. So, from the average income above, the family income is Rp. 8,016,980 per month, and the contribution of the brown sugar business to the family income of oil palm farming is 23.90%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to knowing how Development Strategy of Robusta Coffee Farming In Agung Lawangan Village Of Dempo Utara Pagar Alam City. This research was conducted in Agung Lawangan Village Of Dempo Utara Pagar Alam City in June to July 2020. The method used is survey. The sampling method used by simple random sampling. Data collection methods used observation and direct interview using aids, a list of question that have been prepared in advance and the data obtained from the relevant institutions that have anything to do with this research. Data processing method used editing, coding, and tabulating, and data analysis used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The result showed that combining of Internal Factor and Eksternal Factor in SWOT Matrix Robusta Coffee Farming In Agung Lawangan Village produce several alternatife strategies that is 1. Increasing the amount of production and quality of robusta coffe anda expanding the marketing network 2. Improve production technology to supply market 3. Strengthen capital for robusta coffee farming and expanding the marketing network 4. Developing robusta coffe, improve the quality robusta coffee through good post harvest 5. Conduct training development of institutional empowerment and farm management, 6.improve the marketing chain robusta coffee with through related institutions 7. Conduct training in robusta coffee cultivation techniques according to recommended techniques and training on how to control pest and diseases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discipline, competence and teacher motivation both jointly and partially on teacher performance in State Junior High Schools (SMP) in Gelumbang Subdistrict The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study were Gelumbang District Junior High School teachers, totaling 168 teachers. The sample of this study was calculated by the Slovin formula for a population of 168 teachers with an error rate of 10%, the total sample was 63 teachers as respondents. The first sample was tested using the Instrument Test (questionnaire) in the form of validity test and reliability test. The analysis model used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Regression calculations can be Y = 0.982 + 0.205X1 + 0.350X2 + 0.203X3. Interpretation of multiple regression equations regarding the effect of Work Discipline Variables (X1), Teacher Competence (X2), and Motivation (X3), on Bound Variables namely Teacher Performance (Y). The results of this calculation show that, the three independent variable coefficients are positive, this shows a positive linear relationship between the Variables of Work Discipline, Teacher Competence, and Motivation, on Teacher performance. The calculation of the correlation (R) is 0.799, the correlation coefficient means that the relationship between the two significant variables (free and bound) shows a strong level of closeness. The determination coefficient R2 = 0.638 means that the Work Discipline Variables (X1), Teacher Competence (X2), and Motivation (X3) are able to explain the Variable Teacher Performance (Y) of 0.638 or 63.8%, while the remaining 36.2% explained by other factors not examined. This study concludes that the discipline, competence and motivation of teachers both jointly and partially significantly affect teacher performance in State Junior High Schools in Gelumbang District.

Abstract

Riset with the title Effect of Work Motivation and Discipline and Leadership Style on Police Performance in Banyuasin Regional Police. The purpose of this study answers the problem formulation, which is first to analyze the effect of motivation, discipline and leadership style together (simultaneously) on the performance of the police in the Banyuasin Regional Police. Second, analyze the effect of motivation on police performance. Third, analyze the effect of discipline on police performance. Fourth, analyze the influence of leadership style on police performance. The design of this study is an associative type of research, which is to find out the relationship between two variables X (motivation, discipline, and leadership style) and Y (performance). The population of 462 people, with a sample of 82 respondents Banyuasin Police Personnel with an error rate of 10%. The F Test result states that there is a significant relationship between Motivational Variables (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and Leadership Style (X3), on the Bound Variable, namely Police Performance (Y). T-test results of the three independent variables have a Sig coefficient value, namely that there is a significant relationship between Motivational Variables (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and Leadership Style (X3), on the Bound Variable, namely Police Performance (Y1). The results of the multiple regression equation Y = 0.503 + 0.190X1 + 0.188X2 + 0.440X3. The three coefficients of the free variable are positive, this shows a positive linear direction (unidirectional) between Motivational Variables (X1), Work Discipline (X2), and Leadership Style (X3), on the Bound Variable, namely Police Performance (Y). This study concludes first, work motivation, work discipline, and leadership style together have a significant effect on the performance of the Banyuasin Regional Police. Second, work motivation, work discipline, and leadership style partially have a significant effect on performance. Third, the leadership style contributed greatly to the Banyuasin Police Performance, while the lowest was the Work discipline towards the Banyuasin Police Performance (Y).

Abstract

Labels are an important factor in marketing a product, especially organic fertilizer products which have the provisions stipulated in the Minister of Agriculture No. 01 of 2019. This activity aims to provide knowledge about labels on organic fertilizer products and provide assistance in designing organic fertilizer labels. The method of implementing this service is in the form of socializing labels on organic fertilizers and assistance in designing organic fertilizer labels produced by Poktan Cemerlang as partners in this activity. The participants involved were 20 people who were members of the Cemerlang Poktan. The evaluation carried out in this activity was in the form of giving pre-test and post-test questionnaires related to understanding the labeling material on organic fertilizers. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in participants' understanding of the labeling material for organic fertilizer products, from 24% (pre-test) to 77.5% (post-test). And Poktan Cemerlang has been able to design labels for liquid organic fertilizer products to be produced. However, for legality and distribution licenses that have not been completed on the label, it is hoped that there will be assistance for legality registration and distribution permits for organic fertilizer products so that they can be marketed.

Abstract

Delaying sales in coffee marketing using the Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) scheme is carried out to avoid losses from selling coffee at low prices in Pagar Alam City. The implementation of WRS has been carried out at the MAI Mandiri Producer Cooperative since 2020, but still encountering obstacles. This research aims to determine the problems faced by the MAI Mandiri Producer Cooperative in implementing this WRS scheme and efforts to overcome these problems. The data collection method was in-depth interviews with informants at the Mandiri MAI Producer Cooperative and the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman Interaction Models. The research results show that the implementation of the WRS scheme has a clear flow, complies with the rules, running well and shortens the marketing chain. Meanwhile, the problems faced by the MAI Mandiri Producer Cooperative in implementing the WRS scheme are 1) there are still very few cooperative members participating in the WRS scheme, 2) there is still a lack of wooden pallets in the warehouse, 3) the upper limit (ceiling) of financing from banks is considered to be still small.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of melinial in increasing the income of paddy rice farming in Sako Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency and to find out how much the income of millennial farmers of paddy rice farming in Sako Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. The method used in this research is the survey method. The sampling method used in this research is the purposive sampling method. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation methods.  The results of this study found that the role of millennials in tidal rice farming is seen from the technical cultivation of plants, which includes tillage, planting, fertilization, weeding, eradication of pests and plant diseases and post-harvest activities and the role of millennials in increasing the income of tidal rice farming in Sako Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency is known that millennial income has an average of Rp. 23.803.853 Ha/M ABSTRAKPenelitian ini Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran melinial dalam meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di Desa Sako kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin dan Untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan petani milenial usahatani padi sawah di Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Peran milenial dalam usahatani padi sawah pasang surut yaitu dilihat dari teknis budidaya tanaman yaitu meliputi kegiatan pengolahan tanah, penanaman, pemupukan, penyiangan, pemberantasan hama dan penyakit tanaman serta pasca panen dan peran milenial dalam meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah pasang surut di Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin diketahui bahwa pendapatan milenial memiliki rata-rata sebesar Rp.23.803.853 Ha/Mt.
