Abstract

The management of innovative teaching that hones critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and cross-disciplinary knowledge is becoming increasingly large. This study aims to analyze the management of learning with Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics-Model Problem Based Learning (STEM-PBL) approach based on Lesson study in ICT learning. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data sources are students, classroom teachers, peers, lecturers and school principals through observation, interviews and focus group discussions. The results showed that the management of STEM-PBL learning starts from the Plan stage by analyzing lesson planning. Then the Do stage, observing the learning process in an open classroom: triggering questions to find problems, discussions to collect data to solve problems, and presentations. See the stages, the reflection results of learning management are student-centered but need to be improved, namely smaller groupings of students with different genders, clear instructions, individual worksheets and presentations for all groups. It is concluded that STEM-PBL learning management is effective in improving student-centered learning activities. The findings provide valuable knowledge for educators and policy makers to improve the quality of learning through STEM-PBL approach and lesson study activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the curriculum implemented at SMAN 2 Sutera, both at the document and implementation levels, and to formulate a hypothetical model of an ideal curriculum relevant to the demands of the digital era. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, beginning with a qualitative analysis of curriculum documents (syllabi, lesson plans, and school programs), followed by surveys and interviews with teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The findings reveal that although the current curriculum at SMAN 2 Sutera accommodates several aspects of 21st-century competencies, there remains a gap between curriculum planning and classroom practice—particularly in the integration of digital technology, enhancement of information literacy, and the application of project-based learning. Based on these findings, this study proposes an adaptive digital-based curriculum model that emphasizes teacher-student collaboration, the use of interactive learning technologies, and the development of critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative (4C) competencies. This model is expected to serve as a reference for developing a contextual, innovative, and future-oriented senior high school curriculum in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service program is motivated by the low economic value added and limited marketing of products among groups of women fish vendors in Kanagarian Sungai Tunu Barat, Ranah Pesisir District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The program aims to improve the partners’ knowledge and skills in processing marine products into frozen food, implementing digital marketing, and conducting simple financial record-keeping as an effort to strengthen creative economy activities based on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The program was implemented under the Pengabdian Masyarakat Pemula (PMP) grant scheme of Kemendiktisaintek 2025 over the period of July–December 2025 with three site visits, using methods of socialization, training, mentoring, discussion, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, pre–post questionnaires, practical assessment sheets, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively using qualitative and simple quantitative approaches. The results show an increase in participants’ knowledge regarding marine product processing and digital marketing; more than 70% of participants were able to produce fish and shrimp meatballs and nuggets according to the procedures, and approximately 80% of participants began to utilize social media to promote their products. The implementation of financial record-keeping enabled partners to start separating capital from profit, while those who actively produced and marketed processed products experienced an increase in daily income of around 30–40%. It is concluded that this integrated mentoring model is effective in enhancing the capacity of women fish vendors and has the potential to be replicated in other coastal communities with appropriate local contextualization.
