Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of customary law and the concept of ethnoecology in supporting sustainable agricultural practices, while analyzing their integration as a model of agriculture based on local wisdom. The study used a qualitative approach with field study and literature study methods. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and focus group discussions with customary leaders and farmers, while secondary data were obtained from customary documents and related literature. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles & Huberman through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions through source triangulation. The results show that customary law plays a role as a local regulation in agricultural management, while ethnoecology exists as a technical practice that maintains ecosystem balance. The integration of the two forms a sustainable agricultural system, not only increasing productivity but also maintaining environmental sustainability and strengthening social solidarity. This study confirms that customary law not only has social value but is also an ecological instrument relevant to modern sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Hipertensi dapat dicegah dengan mengenali faktor resiko seperti pola makan tidak sehat (kurang konsumsi sayur dan buah serta konsumsi gula, garam dan lemak berlebih), obesitas, merorok kurang makan, aktivitas fisik, konsumsi alkohol berlebihan dan stres. Salah satu intervensi keperawatan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat adalah dengan adanya program pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang pencegahan hipertensi pada Siswa/i MA Biharul Ulum Ma`Arif. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Siswa/i MA Biharul Ulum Ma`Arif. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Data di analisa menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan pretest 50.13 < posttest 89.47 artinya bahwa secara deskriptif ada perbedaan rata – rata pretest dan posttest tingkat pengetahuan siswa/i terhadap pencegahan hipertensi. Hasil uji statitistik didapatkan nilai Sig. 0.000 < α = 0.05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang pencegahan hipertensi pada siswa/i MA Biharul Ulum Ma`Arif.

Abstract

Traditional agriculture has long been an integral part of agrarian systems in various regions, yet global challenges such as climate change and urbanization demand more sustainable approaches. This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating traditional agricultural systems with sustainable agriculture concepts through a literature review method. The findings reveal that traditional practices, such as crop rotation and organic fertilization, align with sustainability principles. However, there is a need to enhance efficiency through the application of modern technologies such as precision irrigation and integrated pest management. This integration faces significant challenges, including farmers' limited access to technology and a lack of supportive policies. The study highlights the importance of contextual approaches, farmer training, and cross-sector collaboration to optimize the potential of this integration. Thus, the findings provide relevant insights for developing sustainable agricultural policies and practices in Indonesia and other countries.
