Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the variety of uses of the Manggarai language in Golo Sengang Village, West Manggarai. This research also wants to know the influence of the environment and community habits on the differences in language used in daily interactions. This research is a qualitative description. Data was collected through direct observation and interviews with local residents. Observations were carried out by being directly involved in the conversation, recording the conversation, and noting important things. The results of the research showed that there were variations in the use of words that were typical for certain individuals (idiolects) such as hau, ite, and met, as well as the use of different words. based on social status (sociolect) such as father, mother and mother. Apart from that, there are also variations in language use in agricultural and trade contexts, such as the words mawo (possibly meaning plant), woja (possibly meaning agricultural tools), and market.

Abstract

This research uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The objectives of the research are (a) to know what maxims are violated by students and lecturers of Hamzanwadi University in communicating, (b) explain the implementation of Maksim concept in assessing the honesty of Lecturer and Student  ommunication at Hamzanwadi University. The location of the research was conducted on the campus of Hamzanwadi University with the sample of research were 30 students and 3 lecturers. Data collection is done by using questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistics in the form of frequency distribution. The value of honesty data (beginning and end) is analyzed using T-Test type Paired Samples Test, while the data of honesty value using T-Test for each Independent Samples Test. Based on the research results found that the maxim is often violated by lecturers and students PGSD in the verbal stage of the maxim quality and maxim way. Based on the normality test the level of honesty of PGSD Student communication with 0.56 rerate categorized "quite honest" in class A, B da C at the interval of the suspension 0.30-0.70. Based on the questionnaire of honesty of lecturer of MKU BI teaching in PGSD found different level of honesty that is 66,67% elementary lecturer with index score interval of 0,67 which categorized "quite honest", then lecturer HY 80% with index intervalskor 0,80 which is categorized as "honest", and dose NE 73.33% with index score interval score of 0.73 which is "honest" with third rerate of lecturer is 73.33. Implementation of maxim concept of honesty value of communication between lecturers and students of PGSD on learning general course of Indonesia Language (BI) has fulfilled the principle of cooperation maxim with a fair degree of good honesty.Keywords: Implementation, Maxim, Honesty Value, Communication,

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms and factors that influence the degradation of rhetoric used by community leaders in Ijobalit Village, using a sociolinguistic approach. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The population in this study were community leaders and the local community, with informants consisting of 12 people. The techniques used for data collection are observation, interviews and recording techniques. The research results show that the rhetoric used by community leaders in conveying information or appeals to the public tends to take the form of monologues. In this context, communication is carried out by one person via loudspeakers in the mosque or prayer room. This research uses Ardiansyah's theory which states, "rhetoric is the science of the art of speaking effectively, describe phenomena that occur.

Abstract

Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini bagaimana penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia pada anak usia dini di media sosial tiktok.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola pengunaan Bahasa Indonesia oleh anak usia dini di platform media sosial tiktok. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, yang mana mencoba menggambarkan bagaimana penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia pada anak usia dini di media sosial tiktok. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode simak dan cakap. Untuk mengecek balik data yang diperoleh, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi,dokumentasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, peneliti menganalisisnya dengan menggnakan metode padan yakni menganalisis data secara bertahap. Langkah pertama yang dilakukan yaitu reduksi data kemudian penyajian data sehingga dapat menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh ditemukan bahwa penggunaan bahasa Indonesia oleh anak usia dini di TikTok menunjukkan pola yang bervariasi, termasuk penggunaan bahasa campuran antara Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, serta penggunaan bahasa gaul dan slang. Anak-anak sering mencampurkan kedua bahasa dalam percakapan sehari-hari, terpengaruh oleh tren global dan konten berbahasa Inggris. Selain itu, mereka cenderung menggunakan istilah slang yang tidak baku, seperti "santuy" dan "gasken," yang menjadi bagian dari komunikasi sehari-hari mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of social interaction in the character development of preschool children in Sembalun Village, Lombok. The main focus of this research is to identify the impact of interactions with family, early childhood education (PAUD) institutions, and peers on children's character development. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used, involving direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the family plays a fundamental role in instilling core character values such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline. Additionally, PAUD institutions in Sembalun support character development through culturally-based approaches and group activities that promote empathy, tolerance, and cooperation. Interaction with peers also significantly contributes to social learning, where children learn to manage conflicts, share, and appreciate differences. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between families, educational institutions, and communities in supporting the early character development of children. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of early childhood education policies, particularly in rural areas with strong local cultural traditions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the calculation of Income Tax Article 21 liabilities on employee salaries at the Berkah Sawit Nusantara (BSN) Cooperative in Poleang Barat District. The main focus of the research is to determine the extent to which the cooperative has fulfilled its tax obligations on employee income, including holiday allowances (THR) and bonuses. The results show that throughout 2024, BSN Cooperative did not withhold or report Income Tax Article 21 on employee earnings. This was due to the treasurer’s lack of understanding of tax regulations and the absence of dedicated tax personnel. As a result of this negligence, the cooperative received warnings and is at risk of being sanctioned by the tax authority, with tax liabilities that have not yet been accurately calculated. The study also reveals that the cooperative lacks an adequate tax management and recording system. Therefore, improving human resource competencies through tax training and technical consultations with relevant parties is essential. The study concludes that BSN Cooperative must improve its tax administration and enhance the treasurer’s understanding of tax obligations in order to comply with prevailing regulations professionally. Abstract

Background: Kurangnya minat generasi muda di sektor pertanian disebabkan beberapa kendala, yaitu modal terbatas, dan tidak memiliki keterampilan bertani, dan lemahnya pengetahuan teknologi. Jika terus dibiarkan maka angkatan kerja pertanian adalah tenaga kerja usia tua. Hal tersebut akan berdampak pada ketimpangan produksi dan mengancam ketahanan pangan nasional. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk melatih dan memberdayakan generasi milenial untuk menghasilkan kompetensi dan daya saing melalui pelatihan teknologi budidaya pertanian. Metode: Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah (AMM) yang ada di Kota Parepare sebagai generasi muda yang potensi, dimana peserta terdiri dari perwakilan AMM meliputi Pemuda Muhammadiyah (10 orang), IPM (5 orang) dan IMM (5 orang). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan/penyuluhan dan pelatihan/demonstrasi teknologi sederhana dan tepat guna. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan telah memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta pentingnya inovasi dan adopsi teknologi dengan bahan sederhana dalam bertani untuk memudahkan pekerjaan serta murah dan efisien. Beberapa paket teknologi yang didemonstrasikan adalah pembuatan alat tanam benih, alat tabur pupuk, dan alat semprot tanpa tangki gendong. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan dapat membangun perubahan pemipikiran peserta untuk melakukan usaha tani dengen menerapkan teknologi sederhana melalui intensifikasi.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya minat baca siswa sekolah dasar yang berdampak pada lemahnya kemampuan literasi dasar, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang menarik seperti Storytelling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Storytelling terhadap peningkatan minat baca siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest -posttest, melibatkan 20 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket minat baca dan tes membaca nyaring, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan minat baca siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan Storytelling. Berdasarkan angket, rata-rata skor pretest  sebesar 64,9 meningkat menjadi 91,6 pada posttest. Sedangkan dari hasil tes membaca, rata-rata skor pretest  sebesar 49,17 meningkat menjadi 77 pada posttest. Hasil uji t untuk angket menunjukkan t-hitung = -38,773 > t-tabel = 2,093 dengan p < 0,001, dan hasil uji t untuk tes membaca menunjukkan t-hitung = -13,437 > t-tabel = 2,093 dengan p < 0,001. Hal ini menandakan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Storytelling berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat baca siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDN 1 Bagik Payung Timur.
