Abstract

Abstrak Peramalan merupakan dugaan terhadap permintaan yang akan datang berdasarkan pada beberapa variabel peramal, sering berdasarkan data deret waktu historis. Kebutuhan manusia akan teknologi khususnya dalam informasi dan telekomunikasi semakin tinggi, salah satunya internet. Jumlah pengguna internet semakin meningkat.  Metode peramalan yang digunakan yaitu weight moving average dan regresi linier. Untuk menghitung error menggunakan MAPE. Didapatkan nilai error yang paling kecil pada saat regresi linier maka peramalan pengguna IndiHome menggunakan metode regresi linier. Peramalan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Adapun variabel bebas yang digunakan yaitu data penduduk dan variabel tak bebas yaitu data pelanggan. Peramalan ini disimulasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak Matlab. Dari hasil peramalan ini data pelanggan 10 tahun yang akan datang terus meningkat.  Kata kunci: MAPE, Peramalan, Regresi Linier

Abstract

This study is conducted to: (1) analyze the level of alignment between chemistry content on TIMSS with science-chemistry textbooks of Junior High School and (2) describe the discrepancies between chemistry content on TIMSS with science-chemistry textbooks of Junior High School in term of cognitive demands as well as subject content covered. This study was descriptive which used content analysis method. The content analysis was conducted on chemistry content of TIMSS and science-chemistry textbooks of Junior High School. To determine the degree of alignment criteria, this study used the method developed by Porter. Accordingly, the level of alignment is symbolized by Porter's Alignment Index. The results showed that the degree of alignment between TIMSS and and science-chemistry textbooks of Junior High School was 0.49 (low level of alignment). This imperfect alignment level is characterized by the discrepancies in term of subject content covered and cognitive demands among chemistry content on TIMSS and and science-chemistry textbooks of Junior High School. This can affect certainly toward the achievement of Indonesian students in TIMSS

Abstract

This research examined the quality of edible oil from Crude Coconut Oil (CCO) and Palm Coconut Oil (PCO) and their blends with CCO : PCO proportional was about 40:60 and 60:40, respectively. The quality of these samples was based on water proportion, free fatty acid (FFA) and peroxide value (PV) contained. This study was conducted to improve the quality of edible oil. SNI 3741-2013 was used as method of this research, which the result compared with the SNI standard for edible oil. Results of this research for water proportion in oil samples PCO, CCO, CCO (40) : PCO (60) and CCO (60):PCO  (40)  in  order  were  0.000122; 0.010905; 0.001878; 0.030996. The FFA proportions for them were 0.02; 0.01; 0.02; 0.02 and PV values were 7.10; 3.00; 6.10; 5.10, respectively. From this result, we can conclude that all samples had good quality for water proportion and FFA, except for peroxide value (PV) mark which had the higher mark compared to the SNI standard. We also concluded that CCO became the best quality of edible oil compared to others.

Abstract

Kekurangan air dalam tubuh manusia dapat menyebabkan dehidrasi dan terganggunya fungsi organ tubuh manusia. Air minum yang dapat dikonsumsi harus memenuhi tiga persyaratan yaitu persyaratan biologis, fisika dan kimiawi sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Air putih yang biasa dikonsumsi masyarakat tidak berasa dan berwarna sehingga terkadang membuat sebagian masyarakat enggan mengkonsumsinya.. Belakangan ini muncul alternatif minuman berasa yang sehat selain jus buah yaitu infused water. Namun, ketika tim pengabdian melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa masyarakat mitra, banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui tentang infused water, bahan dasar, proses pembuatan dan manfaat pentingnya. Oleh sebab itu, penulis menganggap perlu adanya suatu kegiatan pengabdian dalam bentuk “Edukasi Pemanfaatan Rempah Sebagai Bahan Dasar Pembuatan Infused Water Untuk Detoksifikasi Tubuh”. Adapun tujuan diadakannya kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan rempah sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan infused water untuk detoksifikasi tubuh sekaligus sebagai alternatif air minum sehat.Berdasarkan sosialisasi yang sudah dilakukan, terlihat bahwa masyarakat sangat antusias dan mengharapkan kegiatan seperti ini terus dilakukan.

Abstract

Kebutuhan terhadap media pembelajaran di masa COVID-19 tidak terhindarkan sebagai alat bantu dalam proses penyampaian informasi kepada mahasiswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran audio visual yang memuat konsep-konsep nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari adalah video kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap video pembelajaran kontekstual pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode survey dilakukan pada penelitian ini dengan menyebarkan kuesioner online kepada 180 mahasiswa FKIP UIR yang berasal dari enam program studi yaitu: PGSD, Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan Biologi dan Pendidikan Matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh mahasiswa menyatakan kebutuhannya terhadap media pembelajaran, 99% menyatakan bahwa dosen perlu merancang media pembelajarannya sendiri, 84% menyatakan bahwa video kontekstual cocok digunakan dalam mengajarkan materi kuliah dan 97% mengungkapkan bahwa konsep kontekstual perlu dintegrasikan dalam bentuk video, serta 98% membutuhkan video kontekstual. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi informasi bagi para pendidik dalam mengunakan atau merancang media pada masa pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi yang menarik dan terkini bagi guru tingkat SD, SMP dan SMA di Lingkungan salah satu sekolah swasta di Pekanbaru terkait pelaksanaan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) dan implikasinya terhadap proses pembelajaran. Edukasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai metode yaitu; ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di lingkungan salah satu sekolah swasta dan diikuti oleh 65 orang guru dan karyawan sekolah, pada 18 September 2023. Diakhir kegiatan dilaksanakan evaluasi dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mitra dan kualitas kegiatan yang dilakukan sebagai umpan balik bagi tim pengabdian. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terkait pelaksanaan AKM dan tingginya antusias guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Dengan bertambahnya pemahaman guru ini, diharapkan dapat berimplikasi terhadap pembelajaran dan penilaian yang berorientasi pada peningkatan literasi dan numerasi siswa. The aim of this community service program is to provide an interesting and up-to-date education for teachers at the elementary, secondary and high school levels in private school environment regarding the implementation of AKM and its implications for the learning process. In this program, education is carried out using various methods: lectures, discussions, questions and answers. The event took place in private School and was attended by 65 teachers and school employees, on September 18, 2023. At the end of the activity, an evaluation is carried out using a questionnaire. The evaluation is conducted to determine the level of partner satisfaction and the quality of the activities carried out as feedback for the community service team. The evaluation results showed that there is an increased teacher understanding regarding the implementation of the AKM and the high enthusiasm of teachers in this activity. By increasing teacher understanding of this, it is expected to have implications for learning and assessment that are oriented toward to the improvement of student literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

Educational innovation covers issues related to the components of the education system, both in the narrow sense, namely the level of educational institutions, and in the broad sense, namely the national education system. Education has great social importance, especially in modern complex industrial societies. This is one of the concrete sources of information and knowledge that influences society. The role of education as a means of social change and social development or as an agent is widely accepted in today's society. Education is responsible for the preservation, communication and dissemination of all culture, but social change is the tool and prerequisite for educational thought. Education initiates social change and provides direction and purpose. Education prepares people for social change. Education determines the nature of social change that must be brought about. Education is the most powerful tool to bring about social revolution. Education can change society by providing opportunities and experiences that enable individuals to develop themselves to adapt to new needs and changing social philosophies. Healthy social progress requires careful planning in all aspects of social, cultural, economic and political life. Education must be planned in a way that meets the needs and aspirations of society as a whole.

Abstract

The current condition is still limited to analytical chemistry teaching materials that are integrated with research results, only using Analytical Chemistry textbooks as teaching materials or in the form of e-books. This is one of the causes of the lack of student interest in participating in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to produce innovative teaching materials in analytical chemistry based on research results, aiming to enhance students' interest in learning.This research is the initial stage as a basis for developing analytical chemistry e-modules integrated with research results. The development model used is ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research is limited to the needs analysis stage which includes RPS analysis, analysis of problems and needs of lecturers and problems and needs of students. Data collection instruments used interviews and questionnaires. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 Analytical Chemistry lecturers and 59 students from Riau Province, Riau Islands, North Sumatra, and West Java. The research results of this preliminary analysis include RPS analysis where there are 10 topics of study material and based on the needs questionnaire the topic of quantitative analysis is the topic with the highest percentage to be developed into an e-module. Then also obtained the results that there are still some shortcomings with the teaching materials used today, so that 98% of lecturers and students stated that they need the development of teaching materials, especially those that are digital-based and can be integrated with research results which are evidence of the implementation of analytical chemistry learning theory.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on student academic achievement through a literature review. The method used is a literature study by examining various previous research relevant to this topic. The findings of the literature review show that emotional intelligence has a significant relationship with students' learning motivation and academic achievement. Students who have high emotional intelligence tend to be better able to manage stress, have good adaptability, and are able to regulate their emotions effectively, which in turn increases their learning motivation. High learning motivation is consistently associated with better academic achievement. This study also highlights the importance of implementing social-emotional learning programs in higher education curricula to improve students' emotional skills. It is hoped that the integration of emotional intelligence in teaching methods can create a more supportive and challenging learning environment. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to improving educational strategies that are more comprehensive by considering students' emotional and motivational aspects. This research concludes that developing emotional intelligence and increasing learning motivation are effective strategies for improving student academic achievement. Therefore, higher education institutions are advised to adopt a holistic approach in the teaching and academic guidance process, in order to create students who are not only academically competent, but also have good emotional well-being.
