Abstract

The health and welfare of Indonesian children is far behind other countries. The Infant Mortality Rate has a downward trend, namely 97 per 1000 live births in the 1991 SKDI down to 40 per 1000 live births in the 2012 SKDI. The method of implementation in this activity includes the preparation, implementation and evaluation. In the preparatory stage, socialization is carried out to mothers of toddlers related to activities that will be carried out, namely counseling about healthy toddlers, asking for permission from related parties to prepare the place (village hall or meeting room) and preparing instruments and media for the implementation of activities. At the implementation stage, materials related to healthy toddlers are provided. At the evaluation stage, questions will be asked related to material about healthy toddlers. Counseling activities about healthy toddlers for mothers of toddlers in Batu Mekar Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2020, will be held for one month, from 23 November to 11 December 2020, at 09.00 to finish in Batu Mekar Village, Lingsar District West Lombok Regency. The target of this activity is 30 mothers of toddlers. The form of the activity is providing material about healthy toddlers. Giving material about healthy toddlers for 30 minutes followed by a discussion. This activity includes education about healthy toddlers. Counseling and demonstrations are proven to be effective in increasing knowledge and skills about healthy toddlers in an effort to prevent pain in toddlers

Abstract

Maternal mortality in Indonesia remains a big challenge. Currently, maternal health services cannot be separated from the impact both in terms of access and quality due to the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The World Health Organization stated that strict health care during a pandemic will have an impact on the use of health services, especially reproductive health services. The form of this activity is education on hand washing and distribution of masks for pregnant women. The expected output from this activity is the publication of an accredited institutional journal or journal. In addition, the results of this activity will be presented and published in a community service seminar. These activities include hand washing education, hand washing practices, provision of facilities for washing hands, distribution of masks and education on how to use masks correctly. Outreach and demonstrations have been proven effective in increasing knowledge and skills about washing hands and using masks as an effort to prevent transmission of COVID-19

Abstract

Anemia of pregnant women is a condition where the hemoglobin level in the blood of pregnant women is less than 11g%. If the condition of anemia in pregnant women is not treated, it will cause complications that occur in the mother during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and also have an impact on the fetus she is carrying. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the impact of anemia. The implementation method for this activity includes the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. In the preparation stage, examinations and outreach are carried out to pregnant women, especially pregnant women with anemia, then providing assistance and education about the impact of anemia. At the implementation stage, TTV checks will be carried out and early detection of anemia by carrying out Hb checks, then education will be carried out about the impact of anemia on pregnant women and coaching will be carried out. Before the counseling was carried out, a pre-test was carried out on 15 pregnant women with 65% of pregnant women having sufficient knowledge and 35% lacking knowledge and after conducting the counseling, it was found that the mothers' knowledge of anemia was 80% good and 20% very good.
