Abstract

Learning that is passive and does not provide direct experience to students is the cause of low students' science process skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the Children Learning In Science learning model on science process skills. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used in this research is to use a Quasi Experimental Design with the type of pretest-posttest control group design research. The subjects in this study were 33 students in class VA as the experimental class and 29 students in class V B as the control class. The results showed that there were differences in science process skills and differences in improving science process skills between the experimental class. This shows that the Children Learning In Science learning model can have an impact on the science process skills of students who use the Children Learning In Science learning model. Thus, fathers/mothers of teachers who are going to ban science, especially those who want to improve their science process skills, would be a good step, to try to apply the Children Learning In Science learning model.

Abstract

Environmental problems, especially in the Cihaur village forest area, are increasingly complex due to deforestation, pollution and unsustainable use. Forest areas have an important role in maintaining the hydrological cycle and water quality, so that damage to these areas can have a direct impact on the availability and quality of water resources. For this reason, community awareness is needed in active participation to be involved in conservation activities as part of community environmental literacy. The aim of this activity is to strengthen knowledge, awareness, participation and also form partnerships in sensitivity to environmental damage. The method of this activity is through problem analysis, determining the target of the activity, preparing activity materials, determining the time of the activity and carrying out FGD activities to increase community capacity in environmental literacy, especially in water resource conservation activities in forming Water Conservation Concern (KKA). As a result of this activity, the community has awareness which is shown in active participation in a series of KKA activities and the community can analyze environmental problems early and carry out ongoing involvement. The conclusion from this activity is that the Cihaur Village Forest Management Area has the potential to be used as a Water Absorption area if the community cares about preserving this potential based on the existing potential and the need for conservation efforts implemented by the community so that it becomes a sustainable water resource area. Community empowerment is an important factor in mobilizing existing potential in order to improve the quality of resources and maintain the sustainability of their function. The need for collaboration with partners to establish sustainable cooperation while maintaining and growing public awareness as well as community involvement in conservative actions as part of community literacy skills

Abstract

Manusia merupakan mahluk bergerak, oleh karena itu tidak boleh melawan kodratnya dengan tidak bergerak dan tidak beraktivitas. Lanjut usia adalah seseorang yang karena usianya mengalami perubahan biologis, fisik, kejiwaan dan social, Mengklasifikasi manusia usia lanjut terdiri atas usia pertengahan (middle age) kelompok usia 45-59 tahun, usia lanjut (elderly) kelompok usia 60 –70 tahun. Oleh sebab itu sangat beralasan bagi lansia untuk melakukan berbagai upaya agar dapat melakukan pembinaan fisik secara teratur dan sistematis. Penataan latihan fisik melalui aktifitas olahraga untuk lansia akan membawa mereka menjadi tetap bugar sehingga tingkat kesehatannya akan terjaga dengan baik. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode: penyuluhan, sosialisasi, dan pembinaan Pembinaan Kebugaran Jasmani Dan Pelatihan Keterampilan Kreatifitas Pada Kelompok Usia Pertengahan (Middle Age) Dan Lansia (Elderly) Dalam Upaya Pencegahan Penyakit Hipokinetik Dan Demensia program pada Kesehatan dalam masyarakat serta melatih elemen masyarakat untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat. Kelompok umur Middle Age dan Elderly mendapatkan wadah untuk mengetahui bentuk -bentuk serta manfaat aktifitas fisik bagi lansia dalam mencegah penyakit hipokinetik dan Demensia. Dalam kegiatan ini diberikan latihan senam lansia. Senam lansia merupakan olahraga ringan dan mudah dilakukan sehingga tidak memberatkan untuk diterapkan oleh lansia. Senam lansia dilakukan dengan gerakan - gerakan khusus yaitu menghindari adanya gerakan loncat – loncat. Selain itu juga perlibatanpara lansia midlle age dan elderly dalam aktivitas kreatif seperti penyemaian bibit pohon juga dapat menambah upaya preventif untuk mencegah penyakit demensia dan meningkatkan produktifitas para lansia tersebut.

Abstract

Character education has a major aim to develop quality and excel the human resources. It is based on the Republic of Indonesia's National Education Objectives. The values of this nation's character education are embedded in the ancestral heritage, one of them is a traditional game. The descriptive-analytic method with an ethnographic approach that we used in this study was to analyze and describe the phenomena. Therefore, we chose the Spradley ethnographic method (cognitive anthropology) as a method with phased progressive research (The Developmental Research Sequence). Based on 15 traditional games in the Ritual AdatSerenTaun in Cigugur, we have classified potential major character values which include: (1) five (33%) types of games have independent major character values; (2) seven (46%) types of games have gotongroyong major character values; and (3) four (27%) types of games have integrity major character value. While both religious and nationalist major character values have not been found based on our analysis of 15 types of games in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Hands on Activity learning model that is applied in elementary schools (SD) on natural science subjects (IPA), the research method used in this study is quasi-experimental where the research design used was a nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design, the sample in this study was all third grade students at SDN Cikupa as the experimental group and grade III students at SDN Linggamekar as the control group. the average test for science subjects and the school environment that have similarities. The results of the study were obtained based on the calculation of the average difference in the t test, the P-value (Sig.2-tailed) = 0.343, so the P-value value >𝛼 which means that H0 cannot be rejected. This can be interpreted that there is no difference in the average final ability of students' science process skills between the experimental and control groups. However, based on the results of the KPS observations that have been tested by U Ngain m, it shows that the U test scores Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 then H0 is rejected, this means that there is a significant difference in increasing science process skills between learning using the Hands on Activity model and the conventional model. So, it can be concluded that learning using Hands on Activity on object motion material is influenced by shape and size better than learning using a conventional approach that includes lecture, question-and-answer and experimental methods.Keywords:  Science learning, science process skills, hands on activity.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia pendidikan saat ini menuntut guru harus beradaptasi dengan teknologi dan digitalisasi, hal tersebut menuntut guru untuk memiliki keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikan literasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran dengan baik guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang optimal bagi siswa agar memiliki kesiapan menghadapi era digital saat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjutuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) di kalangan guru sekolah dasar. Pengabdian ini melibatkan pelatihan intensif TPACK bagi guru-guru di sekolah dasar di SDN Mekaraharja II Kecamatan Talaga Kabupaten Majalengka. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan TPACK guru setelah pelatihan, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya kemampuan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran serta pemahaman guru terhadap konsep pedagogi dan konten. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah dasar lain dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Pandemic conditions have caused various changes, including in the world of education, in the learning process. Learning that started at school now takes place at home. There are some parents who complain about the difficulty of conditioning their children to be disciplined and willing to study at home with their parents. The impact of studying at home not only affects children's cognitive intelligence, but also aspects of attitude. The method of implementing the service, namely reading aloud training activities, is carried out as a form of anticipation of conditions that are getting worse or even as a solution to improve conditions that are not good. The results of the activity obtained a positive response showing that reading aloud based on direct synectics using fairy tales provides motivation to be enthusiastic about learning, to be a good and responsible child.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary school driving schools. This study was conducted using a phenomenological approach because the researcher was interested in studying more deeply the phenomenon of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools, this study was also conducted to determine to what extent the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum can be implemented in elementary schools. This study was conducted in several driving elementary schools in Kuningan Regency. The informants in this study were teachers, principals and facilitators. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interview techniques. As a basis for the interview instrument, the researcher used a guideline book for the stages of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum compiled by the BSKAP of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in 2022, which consists of 4 stages of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, namely the initial stage, the developing stage, the ready stage, the advanced stage which consists of 14 aspects. Based on the 14 aspects observed in elementary schools. the results of information processing illustrate that there is 1 aspect, namely the design of the Operational Curriculum of the Education Unit (KOSP), the average school has reached the advanced stage, while the other 13 aspects, the average school is at the initial stage, namely the category still using the example/draft of the Merdeka Curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Education, Research and Technology in the independent teaching platform. Abstract

Isu sosiosaintifik yang semakin kompleks menuntut kemampuan abad ke-21 seperti pengambilan keputusan dan literasi informasi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang relevan adalah model pengambilan keputusan rasional berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi mahasiswa calon guru SD/MI dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran dengan model tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community Based Participatory Research dengan tahapan laying foundation, planning, information gathering & analysis, serta acting on findings. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 84 mahasiswa dari PGMI UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon dan PGSD Universitas Kuningan. Kegiatan dilakukan secara sinkron melalui Zoom dan asinkron melalui WhatsApp. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket dan dokumentasi proyek, dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa terkait penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut dalam perangkat ajar. Mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi isu sosiosaintifik dan menyusun solusi rasional melalui perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan ini efektif meningkatkan kapasitas mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran inovatif berbasis isu sosiosaintifik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS karena banyaknya materi pelajaran yang penuh dengan hafalan mengakibatkan pembelajaran monoton dan kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran membuat siswa bosan dan malas dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar (posttest) pada siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Kartu Kuartet dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode ceramah pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SDN 1 Awirarangan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eskperimental dengan desain penelitian nonequivalet Control Grup postest – pretest deign, dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari kelas IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 25 siswa sedangkan kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tulis bentuk essay. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan cara manual menggunakan rumus uji t dan rumus uji n-gain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa hasil belajar siswa (posttest) yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Kartu Kuartet di peroleh uji t dengan nilai nilai thitung = 24,02 dengan mengambil taraf signifikansi 0,05 atau 5% dengan db 47 diperoleh ttabel = 1,67. Dengan demikian diperoleh thitung (24,02) > ttabel (1,67). Hasil penelitian tersebut menyatakan bahwa hipotesis pertama yang diajukan adalah H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran Kartu Kuartet. Nilai rata-rata gain siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,57 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,17 dengan kriteria sedang, hal ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Kartu Kuartet dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SDN 1 Awirarangan.
