Abstract

English language learning at the elementary education level, particularly in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, plays an important role in developing students’ basic language skills from an early age. However, vocabulary learning in lower grades is still commonly conducted using conventional methods such as textbooks and memorization, which often result in low student participation and boredom. Therefore, learning innovations are needed to create more engaging, concrete, and meaningful learning experiences.This study aims to describe the innovation of English language learning through the use of flashcard media in Grade II of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Unggulan Bustanul Ma’arif. Specifically, the study seeks to describe the implementation process of flashcards, students’ responses and learning activeness during the learning process, and changes in students’ English vocabulary mastery after the use of flashcard media.This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of an English teacher and second-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results indicate that the use of flashcard media was implemented in a structured manner through vocabulary introduction using illustrated flashcards, joint pronunciation practice, and interactive exercises. The flashcard media increased students’ learning activeness and enthusiasm and had a positive impact on improving students’ English vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Rendahnya capaian literasi siswa sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Salah satu upaya penguatan literasi dapat di lakukan melalui pemanfaatan pojok baca di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan pojok baca sebagai sarana pendukung literasi siswa di MI Baitul Makmur, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kegiatan literasi, serta peran guru dalam membangun budaya literasi kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek kepala madrasah, guru kelas, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan uji keabsahan melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pojok baca telah tersedia, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi belum dilakukan secara sistematis dan berkelanjutan serta masih bergantuk pada inisiatif guru. Oleh karena itu, di perlukan pengelolaan pojok baca yang terencana dan terintegrasi guna mendukung pembelajaran bermakna sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Pembelajaran membaca bagi anak dengan hambatan intelektual di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah hingga saat ini belum dilaksanakan secara terpadu antara pendidikan formal di sekolah dan pendidikan informal di lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pola integrasi kedua ranah pendidikan tersebut dalam upaya meningkatkan minat baca anak berkebutuhan khusus, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaannya, serta menganalisis kontribusi nilai-nilai Islam dalam memperkuat motivasi membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang melibatkan guru kelas, guru pendamping khusus, kepala madrasah, orang tua, serta anak dengan hambatan intelektual sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara pendidikan formal dan informal masih bersifat terbatas dan belum terstruktur secara sistematis, yang tercermin dari beragamnya tingkat keterlibatan orang tua serta keterbatasan dukungan yang tersedia.

Abstract

Integration of the Human Nervous System and Missile Technology in Islamic Education Management. The nervous system is capable of detecting and transmitting signals as well as providing automatic responses. It is analogous to a missile control system that detects threats and provides automatic responses. From an Islamic perspective, the majesty of human creation can inspire structured and effective education management. This study explores the integration of the nervous system and missile systems as a strategy for fostering adaptive, responsive, and spiritual learners. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. The informants were the principal of SMP 1 Kencong, the vice principal of curriculum, the Islamic religious education teacher, and the ICT teacher. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that integrating the principles of the nervous system and missile technology into education promotes adaptive, responsive, and precise learning through the use of Google Classroom, which facilitates quick feedback and personalized learning. This approach not only improves effectiveness but also shapes students’ characters to be independent, responsible, and spiritually valuable.
