Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengthening of the professionalism of madrasah teachers and the efforts made by madrasah teachers in increasing religious tolerance. The research method used qualitative research with a field study approach. For data analysis used bservation techniques, interviews and documentation. Strengthening the professionalism of madrasah teachers is carried out by providing personal understanding of the differences in each individual both related to differences in race, ethnicity and religion. Next is to seek information related to religious tolerance through reading materials such as books, magazines, newspapers and related articles. Another strengthening of professionalism was by actively participating in seminars, workshops, training on religious tolerance, both those carried out by the government and non-governmental organizations. The efforts of madrasah teachers in increasing religious tolerance were to provide an understanding to each individual of the differences in various aspects, this aims to get to know each other. Another effort was to give freedom to each individual to carry out worship activities according to religious teachings, by providing facilities that can provide peace and comfort in carrying out worship.

Abstract

Era digital telah memberi dampak terhadap berbagai sektor kehidupan. Begitu pula dengan dunia pendidikan, terjadi perubahan dalam berbagai komponen mulai dari metode, media dan fasilitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi madrasah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong dan Madrasah Aliyah Istiqlal dalam meningkakan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital melakukan terobosan berupa digitalisasi dalam penggunaan media, metode dan fasilitas berbasis digital. Selain itu guru didorong untuk terus melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan dalam kemampuan mengajar. Madrasah Aliyah Istiqlal yang memiliki keunggulam multimedia menjadikan materi desain grafis, fotografi dan videografi sebagai materi kekhususan dan unggulan. Dengan diberikan fasilitas pendukung dan guru professional di bidang multimedia dapat mengembangkan skil pembelajaran untuk membuat desain foto, video dan desain produk yang menggunakan perangkat digital. Sedangkan Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia menggunakan fasilitas berbasis digital. Setiap siswa diperbolehkan membawa dan menggunakan laptop dan mengakses internet. Di ruangan kelas proses pembelajaran menggunakan LED (Light Emitting Diode).  Seluruh materi pelajaran yang digunakan dapat diakses melalui alat tersebut. Selain itu terdapat aplikasi E-Learning. Sebuah aplikasi yang dirancang Kementerian Agama (Kemenag ) untuk memfasilitasi siswa melakukan pembelajaran berbasis digital. Hal ini memudahkan siswa dan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze verses regarding the inheritance system stipulated in 2:1 between men and women. The underlying issue of this research is the interpretive polarization between feminism and androcentrism, often grounded in their respective ideologies. By conducting objective and in-depth analysis, this research is expected to address such interpretive polarization and open up space for a more holistic understanding of the messages of the Qur'an. This study employs a historical approach with the religious humanistic theory perspective of Muhammad Thalbi. The historical context encompasses cultural values and social conditions, both pre-revelation and post-revelation. The historical data is analyzed using two analytical models, descriptive and explanatory. The findings indicate that the pre-revelation period, particularly the era of Jahiliyyah, serves as a key element in clarifying the influence of time periods, social conditions, and historical events that shape the Qur'anic paradigm. The inheritance provisions for women in the Qur'an provide a concrete conceptual and normative basis for protecting, respecting, and empowering women in various aspects of life. Analysis using the historical humanistic approach in the inheritance provision of 2:1 between men and women demonstrates that the justice initiated by the Qur'an is distributive justice. This is because the policy in inheritance division cannot be separated from the obligation of men to provide dowry and sustenance for women in family life

Abstract

Amina Wadud's thoughts are quite controversial regarding the permissibility of women being men's prayer leaders because for 1400 years, not a single cleric, either male or female cleric, dared to hold such an opinion, in fact Amina Wadud immediately put her opinion into practice by leading male and female prayers. so there was a lot of ridicule and insults aimed at him. From there, the question arises, why does Amina Wadud think that and what is behind it? The author conducted library research or qualitative library research to answer several of these questions. Data was collected from Amina Wadud's own writings, other writers' writings about her thoughts, and information from online media. From this information, the author first discusses the pros and cons of female prayer imams. Then continues with Amina Wadud's opinion, which is accompanied by the basis she uses to support her opinion. This study shows that Amina Wadud uses tafsir tauhid, a holistic interpretation method adopted by Fazlurrahman in interpreting the Koran and hadith. Because by applying this monotheistic interpretation, he believes that reading the Koran about women's rights is no longer based on gender, but can reveal important principles such as justice and equality, as shown by the Umm Warakah hadith

Abstract

This article discusses the role of the Qur'an in liberating women from femicide that occurred in pre-Islamic Arab culture. The study focuses on analyzing Surah An-Nahl (16): 58–59 and Surah At-Takwir (81): 8–9, which describe the practice of burying female infants alive and the negative attitudes of Arab society toward the birth of girls. This research employs a qualitative method using library research, with data sources drawn from classical and contemporary Qur'anic exegesis (tafsir), as well as other relevant literature. Data analysis is conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach. The data is examined by presenting the interpretations of Qur'anic commentators (mufassir) on the selected verses and analyzing their implications for the discourse on women's liberation in Islam. The findings show that the Qur'an explicitly criticizes the practice of burying female infants alive. Killing, discrimination, and unjust treatment of women are actions that contradict Islamic values and must be eradicated from society. The Qur'an seeks to liberate women from injustice and to uphold their dignity. In the contemporary context, new forms of femicide and violence against women continue to occur. Therefore, the values of women's liberation found in the Qur'an must be continually upheld and promoted through education, critical exegesis, legal reform, and social advocacy

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategies of superior madrasas in improving quality management. The research method uses qualitative methods with a field study approach. The research techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Madrasas are formal institutions that provide education at elementary, middle, and high school levels. One of the determinants of madrasah quality is quality management. Quality management is a systematic process used by organizations to ensure that products or services meet customer expectations and set quality standards. The quality management strategy used to improve the quality of madrasas is to strengthen the vision of madrasas to become strong and superior institutions. Apart from that, the curriculum is innovative and relevant which is strengthened by the support of both internal and external stakeholders. Apart from that, the quality and competence of teachers through training, workshops and training on teaching and teacher enrichment becomes a benchmark for the success of management, by strengthening students' abilities in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains by strengthening various achievements in various fields of science and extracurricular activities. Teacher competence is also supported. digital literacy skills to adapt to today's digital world. Evaluation and monitoring are an inseparable part that can be carried out to assess the ability and involvement of school principals, teachers and students and administrative staff so that they can carry out quality management according to madrasah procedures.
