Abstract

(The background in this study is the ability to solve the problem msalah students in mis Nurul Yaqin still classified as sufficient, students are not able to understand mathematical concepts. In solving the problem students still forget the steps of solving it. (2) The purpose of this study is to analyze the problem-solving ability of Class V students (3) The research method used is qualitative analysis by sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used triangulation techniques that are matched with observations, interviews and documentation of student test results. (4)The results of the study were seen based on the results of students ' answers that high Category problem-solving skills are able to solve problems well followed through the settlement steps of understanding the problem, drawing up a settlement plan, solving the problem, and re-examine. Then the ability to solve problems in the medium category is still in sufficient condition, less in understanding the problem but can solve the problem, they are only guided by the formula alone. While the ability to solve the problem of low category is still in poor condition, from all steps of problem solving need more teacher guidance. (5) The results of this study, teachers should play a role in guiding students, teachers should instill in students the process of problem solving properly and correctly. Teachers should Group students according to student abilities, student learning needs or the learning style of each student to make it easier to guide according to their respective abilities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan belajar Iqra’ ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah anak-anak di Desa Budaya Lingga. Tim pengabdian menerapkan pendekatan individual, dengan setiap anggota membimbing 3–4 anak melalui identifikasi kemampuan awal, latihan pelafalan (makhraj), pengulangan (tikrar), dan pengenalan tajwid dasar. Kegiatan selama 8 hari (4–11 Juli 2025) menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan membaca, khususnya dalam ketepatan makhraj dan panjang-pendek bacaan. Hasil ini membuktikan efektivitas pembelajaran bertahap dan berbasis kebutuhan individu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences (IPA) students in grade V at MIS YPI Btg Quiz. LKPD is designed to hone the ability to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems according to learning achievement indicators. The research used an experimental method with a two-group pretest - posttest design. The research population is all students of class V MIS YPI Btg Quiz which totals 55 students, while the research sample consists of class VA (29 students) and class VB (26 students) in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research instrument was in the form of a description test totaling 5 items that had been validated (r count 0.458 - 0.730 r table 0.278) and reliable (Cronbachs Alpha = 0.637). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the science learning outcomes of students who used HOTS-based LKPD and those who did not use it. The independent samples t-test obtained a value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 ( 0.05), so it can be concluded that the application of HOTS-based LKPD has a real effect on improving the science learning outcomes of grade V students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an effect of the modified GASING method TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The independent variable in this study is the influence of the TGT learning model modified by the GASING method, while the dependent variable is the result of learning mathematics. The population of this study were third grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 06 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample used is a total sample of 19 people. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests that were given twice, namely pretest and posttest. The instruments used in this study were lesson plans and multiple choice questions which had been validated qualitatively by two expert lecturers in their fields. Data analysis techniques used the normality test, the Wilcoxon non-parametric test, and the Normality Gain (N-Gain) test. The results of this study found that there was an effect of the modified TGT learning model of the GASING method on the mathematics learning outcomes of class III students as evidenced by the students' mathematics learning outcomes before being given treatment which was 56.84 then after being given treatment it increased to 80.00. The results of the Wilcoxon test show that the significance value (sig) is smaller than α, namely 0.000 <0.05, which means is accepted and is rejected. The effect of applying the modified TGT learning model to the GASING method is also evident from the increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by the N-Gain (g) test results obtained by 0.6241 included in the medium category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the mathematics learning process. Educators sometimes do not use varied learning models, so students experience boredom in the learning process. Apart from that, teachers still use conventional learning methods which direct the learning process more from the teacher to the students. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the student facilitator and explaining learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group. The population studied in this research were all students from class I to class VI, totaling 142 people. The sample in this study used a non-probability technique with purposive sampling, namely a technique for determining samples selected based on certain criteria. The sample consisted of two classes V-A and V-B at SD Al-Ittihadiyah consisting of 38 students. The data collection techniques used by researchers are documentation and tests, namely giving pre-tests and post-tests. The research results, as determined by an independent t-test, showed that the average value for the experimental class was 76.86 with a standard deviation of 9.372. The average value for the control class is 67.82 with a standard deviation of 9.926. This shows that the average score for students in the experimental class who participated in the student facilitator and explaining learning model showed a higher level of improvement in their academic performance compared to students in the control class, who received conventional teaching. The sig (2-tailed) value of 0.007 is smaller than 0.005, which indicates that there is a statistically significant impact of the student facilitator and explaining learning model on students' academic achievement in mathematics at Al-Ittihadiyah Elementary School

Abstract

Implementasi program les siang di Desa Manrayap, Kabupaten Simalungun, merupakan upaya konkret dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah pedesaan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi dampak program tersebut terhadap prestasi akademik siswa, minat belajar, dan keterlibatan orang tua serta masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti akses terbatas dan dukungan yang belum merata, program les siang mampu memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi tantangan akademik. Hasil wawancara dan observasi lapangan menggambarkan respons positif dari orang tua dan siswa terhadap program ini, menunjukkan pentingnya dukungan komunitas dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di tingkat lokal. Rekomendasi untuk masa depan mencakup peningkatan kapasitas guru lokal, peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, serta dukungan berkelanjutan dari pemerintah daerah untuk menjaga kesinambungan dan efektivitas program. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi antara pendidikan, masyarakat, dan pemerintah penting untuk mencapai tujuan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Undang-Undang Dasar 1945.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the project-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills in building space materials in elementary schools. Initial tests revealed that most of the students in grade V of SDN 135562 Tanjung Balai City were still in the less critical criteria, with a percentage of 59%.  Therefore, teachers need to use effective learning approaches, such as the Project Based Learning model, students' critical thinking skills can be improved. This study applies a quantitative method and uses a Quasi Experimental design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research was carried out at SDN 135562 Tanjung Balai City with a total population of 140 students. This research uses an instrument to test critical thinking skills in the form of essays. The results show that the project-based learning model significantly affects the improvement of students' critical thinking skills. The hypothesis test with the t' test showed a value of -2.26 < 12.3 > 2.26 which showed that by rejecting the null hypothesis (H0) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (H1), it was proven that the Project Based Learning model had a positive impact on students' critical thinking skills in the building materials in elementary schools compared to using the conventional learning model. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru pada pembelajaran IPS di SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Medan Labuhanbatu Selatan dan mengetahui hambatan-hambatan kompetensi profesional guru dalam pembelajaran IPS di masa pandemi COVID-19 di SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Medan Labuhanbatu Selatan.Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif  dengan pendekatan penelitian studi kasus, penelitian yang memerlukan sebuah data seperti informasi secara deskriptif. Data primer dalam penelitian skripsi ini adalah Guru Kelas I-VI sedangkan data sekunder dari penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, dalam proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian skripsi ini menggunakan tiga metode dalam pengumpulan data yaitu, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh penulis, yaitu: 1) kompetensi profesional guru pada pembelajaran  IPS di SDN 09 Tanjung Medan Labuhanbatu Selatan adalah; a) guru mampu menguasai materi pembelajaran, b) mampu mengembangkan program pelajaran, c) penguasaan metode dan strategi pembelajaran, d) mampu melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran, e) mampu menguasai ilmu teknologi dan komunikasi. 2) Hambatan-hambatan kompetensi profesional guru dalam pembelajaran IPS di masa pandemi COVID-19 di SD Negeri 09 Tanjung Medan Labuhanbatu Selatan diantaranya: a) Keluhan pemberian tugas dan kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran, b) terkendala jaringan internet, c) siswa merasa jenuh, d) terkendala penguasaan teknologi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the development stages of the multiplication student worksheet (LKPD) to overcome the difficulties of calculating multiplication operations and to find out whether the multiplication student worksheet (LKPD) can meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research uses a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE development model, which includes Analysis (analyzing), Design (designing), Development (developing), Implementation (applying), and Evaluation (evaluating). Data collection instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and test sheets. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research were interviews, validation sheets, learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaires. In this research, the data obtained was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis is used to describe the product development process. Quantitative analysis is used to describe product quality assessments, response questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results of data analysis are used to improve products. This research was conducted in MIS Madinatussalam. The population in this study were students in class III-6 MIS Madinatussalam, totaling 30 students. Meanwhile, sampling in this research used a total sampling technique or used the entire population as the research sample. Using purposive random sampling, the research subjects were grade III elementary schools. The results of the research showed that the average total validity value obtained from material experts was 92.8% and media experts were 86.6%, which means that the LKPD for the multiplication of stacked roads that was developed had met the valid criteria. The results of the analysis of the practicality of the LKPD learning media for multiplication of stacked paths show that the average total practicality value of student responses is 88.21%, which is in the value range (81% - 100%). In the trial test of learning outcomes on effectiveness, an average N-gain value of 0.44 was obtained and met the range 0.3 ≤ n-gain ≤ 0.7.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa kantong bilangan penjumlahan dengan teknik menyimpan, dan mengevaluasi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa sekolah dasar. Menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), penelitian ini melalui beberapa tahap pengembangan dan evaluasi media. Pada tahap analisis, peneliti mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa dan merancang media yang sesuai. Desain media melibatkan pembuatan papan penjumlahan dan kantong bilangan dengan ukuran dan bahan yang telah disesuaikan untuk menarik perhatian siswa. Selanjutnya, tahap pengembangan meliputi pembuatan dan penyempurnaan media berdasarkan umpan balik dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 88%, menandakan media sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam konteks pembelajaran. Validasi dari ahli media memberikan nilai 64%, yang menunjukkan media tersebut valid dan layak dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Uji coba dengan pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 54 dan post-test sebesar 85. Analisis menggunakan uji N-Gain menghasilkan nilai 0,68, yang mengindikasikan bahwa media ini cukup efektif dalam pembelajaran. Kepraktisan media dinilai melalui angket respon siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata 62%, yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Kesimpulannya, media kantong bilangan penjumlahan teknik menyimpan yang dikembangkan terbukti valid, efektif, dan praktis, serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sekolah dasar.
