Abstract

Countries around the world have issued the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the period 2015-2030, inviting all communities worldwide to protect the earth through 17 main goals and 169 targets for sustainable development. The sixth point of the SDGs focuses on the issue of "Clean Water and Sanitation," which is the focus of this researcher's discussion, considering the condition of many Indonesian and global communities who still face significant difficulties in accessing clean water and proper sanitation. The Citarum Harum Program, launched in 2018, is one of Indonesia's efforts to accelerate the achievement of the sixth SDG, which is related to the Citarum River as one of the main sources of clean water for the surrounding communities. The results of this study show significant progress through the improvement of the water quality index in the Citarum River, increased public awareness and participation, and the relatively effective use of the pentahelix scheme. However, several evaluations are still needed for better program implementation in Bandung Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pembekalan dan pemahaman kepada para calon Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) yang akan bekerja keluar negeri. Pembekalan yang diberikan meliputi pengetahuan tentang hak dan kewajiban, keterampilan dasar bahasa asing, dan prosedur dan mekanisme yang harus dilakukan apabila mendapatkan kesulitan dan persoalan yang terkait hukum di negara tempat mereka bekerja. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui diskusi, pelatihan, dan seminar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bekerjasama dengan pihak kantor desa Nanggalamekar, Kecamatan Ciranjang, Kabupaten Cianjur. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa peningkatan pengetahuan para calon PMI mengenai hak dan kewajiban yang mereka miliki selama bekerja di luar negeri, memiliki pemahaman yang cukup mengenai situasi negara lain yang berbeda dari segi sosial, budaya dan ekonomi dari Indonesia. Para calon PMI juga memiliki pengetahuan mengenai tata cara dan mekanisme yang harus mereka tempuh jika memerlukan bantuan dari perwakilan Indonesia di luar negeri. Para calon PMI juga memiliki kesadaran untuk memiliki dokumen yang lengkap dan menempuh jalur legal untuk bekerja di luar negeri. Oleh sebab itu, hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan pembekalan substansi yang baik bagi para calon PMI. Kata kunci: Pekerja Migran, pemberdayaan masyarakat, hak dan kewajiban pekerja migran.

Abstract

In the Greater Cirebon area there are three palaces, namely: the Kasepuhan Palace, the Kacirebonan Palace, and the Kanoman Palace. Along with the times, the function of the palace is now a cultural heritage and historical tour. This cultural heritage and historical tourism is an important point in the political process in Indonesia. The ongoing process of democratization in the Greater Cirebon area is one of the important things and concerns Cultural Heritage and Historical Tourism because it influences politics in the Greater Cirebon area. The people's party which is held every five years becomes a very important event in the implementation of democratization because that's when the process of electing leaders for the Greater Cirebon area is determined. Community leaders will participate in the democratic party, which includes the royal/palace family so that they are used as a symbol in Greater Cirebon. Their goal of including these figures is to attract sympathy and support from the people of Greater Cirebon. Keywords: Palace, Cultural Heritage, Democratization, Greater Cirebon.
