Abstract

Laboratories that meet ergonomic standards will support the learning process, both academically and technically, to facilitate the growth and development of skills. This study aims to uncover and provide an overview and information about laboratory ergonomics standards which include thermal comfort (temperature), workspace laboratory lighting. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method carried out in the Machine Tool Unit Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education with a population of 60 students who are carrying out practicum. Techniques using direct observation and measurement. Lux Meter to measure lighting and then Digital Thermometer which functions to measure temperature at the observation point in the laboratory. Data collection starting at 07.00 until 12.00 and in the afternoon starting from 13.00 to 16.00, which is the time to do work activities. Measurements made at ten observation points the results showed that; (1) thermal comfort (temperature) with a value of 30.44 degrees Celsius, while the ideal practical standard ranges from 24 – 27 degrees Celsius; (2) Lighting with a value of 422.14 Lux while the ideal practice standard ranges from 500 – 1000 Lux. These results indicate that there is a tendency for temperature and lighting in laboratory rooms under conditions that are less than the standard set. To increase work productivity, these factors can cause less concentration and stress at work.

Abstract

To evaluate the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on learning motivation and its impact on the academic achievement of PTM FT UNM students, a study will be conducted. This research will use a quantitative approach with path analysis. Path analysis is a statistical method that provides a quantitative interpretation for multiple variables within an analysis model. It tests the influence between independent and dependent variables by analyzing both direct and indirect effects among the variables. Regression correlation analysis will be employed to determine the percentage contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable. The data processing results indicate that the PBL model and learning motivation together affect learning achievement by 13.8%, while the remaining 86.2% is influenced by other factors. Specifically, the PBL model accounts for 7.00% of the effect on achievement, with 93.00% attributed to other unexamined factors. Additionally, the PBL model impacts motivation by 28.65%, with the remaining 71.35% influenced by other factors not studied

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis secara komprehensif pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan media sosial terhadap motivasi intrinsik mahasiswa dalam ekosistem pembelajaran digital. Pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut dipandang mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal, adaptif, serta sesuai dengan karakteristik mahasiswa di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 100 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket berskala Likert, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan linearitas, serta regresi parsial dan simultan, termasuk pengujian koefisien determinasi untuk menilai kekuatan model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel memenuhi persyaratan statistik, tercermin dari distribusi data yang normal, tidak ditemukannya korelasi tinggi antarprediktor, dan adanya hubungan linear antara variabel independen dan dependen. Analisis regresi parsial mengindikasikan bahwa aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis AI serta media sosial secara individual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi intrinsik mahasiswa. Pengujian simultan juga mengonfirmasi bahwa kedua variabel tersebut secara kolektif memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam meningkatkan motivasi internal mahasiswa pada lingkungan pembelajaran digital. Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 63,1% menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian mampu menjelaskan sebagian besar variasi motivasi intrinsik, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar penelitian. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi teknologi berbasis AI dan media sosial berperan penting dalam memperkaya proses pembelajaran, terutama melalui peningkatan keterlibatan, kenyamanan, serta kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, institusi pendidikan diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk mendukung terbentuknya motivasi belajar yang berkelanjutan.
