Abstract

The problems experienced by vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities, pose a challenge to conducting in-depth studies to produce innovative solutions. This article examines the inclusive education model as a strategy for fulfilling the educational rights of people with disabilities implemented in Islamic boarding schools. This article aims to determine how inclusive education is implemented in Islamic boarding schools, what strategies are used, and the implications of inclusive education in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is qualitative research using secondary data sources, such as the primary data obtained from interviews with the caretaker of the Nurul Maksum inclusive Islamic boarding school on the YouTube channel: Sahabat Santri Mengabdi. The second secondary data source comes from journal articles and books relevant to the research theme. The results of the study show that the inclusive education model implemented in Islamic boarding schools uses an Islamic approach with an emphasis on patience, sincerity, and Lillahitaala. The implementation of inclusive education prioritises the needs of students with disabilities, especially in learning to read and memorise the Quran. This study contributes to the development of fulfilling the right to education for people with disabilities, which can be implemented in Islamic boarding schools using special methods.

Abstract

Fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities is a shared responsibility between the government and society. Philosophically and juridically, the legal umbrella is the basis for fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities in various fields. In reality, there is still discrimination against people with disabilities in various areas of life, including in the field of education. The problem formulation in this paper aims to examine how the reformulation of disability law policy in the education sector is in line with the values ​​of social justice. This research is normative legal research using a conceptual, statutory approach. Sources of legal materials are primary legal materials, namely from legislation, books and journals. The data collection method uses library research, analyzed using a deductive thinking process to draw conclusions. The results of the research show that legal reformulation of persons with disabilities in the education sector is carried out with reference to philosophical (in accordance with Pancasila), juridical (harmonization and synchronization) of regulations regarding persons with disabilities both based on national and global law), and sociological (discrimination against persons with disabilities still occurs). which is contrary to human rights). The reformulation framework proposed by the author, harmonization and synchronization in the use of the term and classification of "disability" in legislation, harmonization and synchronization of rights in the field of education, reviewing inclusive school policies so that they comply with the principles of social justice.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower the youth organization (Karangtaruna) in Lau Village, Kudus Regency, through training on the production of local culture-based merchandise as an effort to preserve socio-cultural values and strengthen the local creative economy. The program adopted a community-based empowerment approach that emphasized the active participation of community members from the planning stage to evaluation. Sixteen youth members participated in various activities, including cultural conservation awareness sessions, participatory design and production training, digital marketing mentoring, and reflective discussions on sustainability. The results indicate significant improvement in participants’ awareness of cultural preservation, creative and entrepreneurial skills, and the emergence of local leaders who initiated collective business activities. The program successfully transformed the youth group from a passive community into an active, innovative, and self-reliant organization. At the national level, the activity supports the development of conservation-oriented character in line with the vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang as a conservation-minded university. At the global level, this initiative contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), by promoting youth participation as agents of change and reinforcing cultural sustainability within global development frameworks.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis budaya lokal. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam menulis dan mempublikasikan karya ilmiah, meskipun publikasi merupakan salah satu indikator penting profesionalisme guru. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di SMK NU Ungaran, Kabupaten Semarang, dengan melibatkan 12 guru PPKn sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi workshop, pendampingan, dan evaluasi melalui tahapan penyadaran, pengkapasitasan, pendampingan, serta pelembagaan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi selama kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap sistematika artikel ilmiah, penggunaan aplikasi sitasi, serta kemampuan melakukan submission ke jurnal terakreditasi SINTA. Sebanyak 70% peserta mampu menyusun draft artikel siap unggah, dan 30% telah melakukan submisi ke jurnal nasional. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong guru untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal seperti nilai gotong royong, toleransi, peduli, yang bisa ditemukan dalam tradisi pada tiap daerah sebagai ide utama dalam artikel ilmiah, sekaligus sebagai bentuk pelestarian budaya lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan literasi akademik, profesionalisme, dan konservasi nilai-nilai budaya di kalangan guru PPKn.

Abstract

The Gondosari area, located in the Susukan Subdistrict, Ungaran Timur District, Semarang Regency, faces issues in managing household waste, specifically used cooking oil and food scraps (fruits/vegetables). The accumulation of waste at Temporary Waste Disposal Sites (TPSS) leads to foul odors and creates an unpleasant environment and scenery. This community service activity aims to provide training to residents (particularly members of the PKK women's group) in the Gondosari area to enhance their knowledge and understanding of household waste management (used cooking oil and fruit/vegetable scraps). The methods applied include training on making eco-enzymes from fruit scraps, as well as processing used cooking oil into soap and candles. The outcome of the training is an increase in knowledge and skills among the PKK women's group in managing their household waste.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the presidential threshold in Indonesia’s presidential system and the effectiveness of the House of Representatives (DPR) in carrying out its oversight function over government policies. The implementation of the presidential threshold, which was intended to strengthen political support for the elected president, has created a practical problem when non-supporting parties tend to join the ruling coalition after the election. This condition weakens the DPR’s oversight function, as the dominance of political compromise reduces the presence of effective opposition in parliament. This research employs a normative legal method using both statutory and conceptual approaches. The primary legal materials consist of constitutional and statutory provisions regulating the presidential system and the oversight authority of the DPR, while secondary materials include books and journal articles written by constitutional law scholars. The results indicate that political stability in a presidential system should not rely on the presidential threshold, but rather on the strength of the checks and balances mechanism between the executive and legislative branches. The Constitutional Court Decision No. 62/PUU-XXII/2024, which declared the presidential threshold unconstitutional, represents an important turning point to reinforce democratic representation and restore the DPR’s oversight function to be more independent, transparent, and accountable.

Abstract

Women’s responses to politically driven digital violence have become increasingly significant in Indonesia, where such threats undermine equal political participation. Despite the existence of legal frameworks governing elections, digital spaces, and gender-based violence, many remain legally inadequate and insufficiently responsive to women as victims of cyber violence. Existing studies tend to treat digital violence as a cybercrime issue or focus narrowly on women’s political participation, often neglecting its digital dimension. This study addresses that gap by conducting a comprehensive normative legal analysis within the broader framework of democracy and human rights. Using a normative legal research method and literature review, it examines the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, CEDAW, and relevant legal instruments, including Human Rights Law, Election Law, Electronic Information and Transactions Law, Law on Sexual Violence Crime, and regulations issued by the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection and the General Election Commission. The findings indicate that digital political violence against women commonly manifests as intimidation, sexual harassment, and misinformation aimed at discrediting their credibility and dignity. The study also highlights women’s resilience and resistance strategies. Documenting these experiences contributes to the development of more inclusive, adaptive, and responsive legal frameworks that ensure safe, meaningful political participation in digital spaces.

Abstract

Penanaman nilai karakter disiplin sangat penting diberikan pada diri siswa agar membentuk perilaku positif sehingga siswa mempunyai pemahaman yang baik tentang pentingnya kedisiplinan dan ketaatan terhadap aturan dan norma yang berlaku. Penanaman karakter disiplin dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah, salah satunya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paskibra (Pasukan Pengibar Bendera). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya penanaman karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paskibra beserta hambatan dalam penanaman karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paskibra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Purwakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Upaya penanaman karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paskibra di SMA Negeri 3 Purwakarta dapat dilakukan dengan cara-cara mendidik yang diberikan oleh pelatih maupun pembina Paskibra, antara lain dapat dilakukan melalui, pengajaran, memberikan contoh/keteladanan, pembiasaan, hukuman, laku, serta pengalaman lahir dan batin. 2) Hambatan yang terjadi dalam penanaman karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paskibra yaitu rasa malas dan lelah dalam diri anggota Paskibra, beberapa anggota Paskibra mengikuti ekstrakurikuler, organisasi, atau kegiatan lain di sekolah, serta sebagian orang tua sulit memberikan izin anggota mengikuti kegiatan Paskibra.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel jurnal tidak hanya diwajibkan untuk dosen saja, melainkan sangat diperlukan untuk para guru. Penulisan artikel ilmiah di Jurnal untuk guru dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kenaikan pangkat, point nilai untuk PPG, serta update keilmuan bagi guru. Salah satu ide judul untuk penulisan artikel ilmiah bertema budaya lokal, hal ini karena setiap daerah memiliki nilai adat istiadat yang mengandung makna, filosofi, dan nilai-nilai yang bisa dijadikan sebagai pedoman sikap, perilaku dalam kehidupan di Masyarakat. Permasalahan yang terjadi dilapangan adalah banyak guru yang merasa kesulitan dalam Menyusun artikel jurnal, permasalahan ini yang menjadikan latar belakang untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel berbasis budaya lokal khususnya untuk Guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah berbasis budaya lokal pada guru untuk sebagai Upaya peningkatan kompetensi professional guru. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan workshop yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan, selain memberikan materi, peserta pengabdian diberikan tugas mandiri untuk Menyusun artikel jurnal. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat diantaranya, peserta pengabdian kepada Masyarakat telah mengetahui sistematika penulisan artikel ilmiah yang di submit pada jurnal nasional, peserta pengabdian telah mengetahui tata cara Menyusun artikel ilmiah, peserta pengabdian memiliki keterampilan untuk mengidentifikasi jurnal nasional terakreditasi sinta dan juga mampu melakukan submit artikel pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi sinta.
