Abstract

Training on making teaching modules based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) is an effort to improve teacher competence in compiling innovative learning tools that are relevant to the needs of 21st century students. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the training at SMPIT Anak Soleh Mataram. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving 15 teachers as participants. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and interviews to measure the level of participant satisfaction and the effectiveness of the training. The results showed that this training received a very positive response from the participants. Based on the questionnaire, the majority of teachers expressed high satisfaction with the quality of the material, delivery methods, and facilitator performance. In addition, all participants succeeded in compiling teaching modules based on PjBL well after participating in the training. In-depth interviews revealed that the training helped teachers understand the principles and steps of implementing PjBL, although some participants identified challenges in implementing the modules in the classroom, such as time management and student involvement. Overall, this training was effective in improving teacher competence in compiling teaching modules based on PjBL. This study recommends further training and implementation assistance to ensure the sustainability of its impact in the learning environment.

Abstract

Penguasaan kaidah kebahasaan merupakan bagian integral dari pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang berbasis teks. Pemberlakuan pembelajaran berbasis teks di jenjang pendidikan menengah yang juga selaras dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di perguruan tinggi tentu saja harus menghasilkan peserta didik yang mampu memahami dan menerapkan kaidah kebahasaan dengan baik. Namun, berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat penguasaan kaidah kebahasaan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi belum signifikan mencerminkan kemantapan pembelajaran berbasis teks khususnya kaidah kebahasaan di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Dengan demikian, diperlukan sosialisasi hasil penelitian sekaligus diskusi kelompok terpumpun untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana gambaran pembelajaran kaidah kebahasaan dilakukan di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Gambaran yang dimaksud kemudian menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk diskusi kelompok terpumpun bersama para guru Bahasa Indonesia SMA yang telah menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teks di sekolah. Pada akhirnya, kegiatan pengabdian ini merumuskan beberapa catatan dan rekomendasi sebagai berikut: (1) tingkat penguasaan kaidah kebahasaan rendah disebabkan oleh ketidakoptimalan guru di jenjang pendidikan menengah dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran kepada siswa, (2) ketidakoptimalan itu disebabkan oleh ketidakseimbangan beban tugas pokok dan fungsi guru dengan waktu guru melaksanakan tugas pokok dan fungsi, (3) sangat diperlukan strategi dan metode sederhana dalam penyampaian materi kaidah kebahasaan yang diakui kompleksitas kesulitannya.

Abstract

Social problems that are often raised by female writers in literary works tend to be diverse. However, one of the social problems that often appears in literary works by female writers is the problem of family disorganization. This study aims to describe the problem of family disorganization in short stories by female writers on the Basabasi.co site. This study is classified as a descriptive qualitative research type with a sociology of literature approach. The data for this study are sentences or paragraphs that contain the problem of family disorganization in short stories. The data sources for this study were eight short stories by female writers that raised the problem of family disorganization and were published throughout 2024 on the Basabasi.co site. The method of collecting research data used literature studies. The results of the study showed that there were 10 indicators of family disorganization found, namely unclear roles in the family, poor communication, conflict between family members, lack of emotional attachment, inability to make joint decisions, violence in the family, disharmony in parent-child relationships, deviant behavior in the family, and unstable economic conditions.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kaidah kebahasaan di SMP menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajarannya masih terbatas pada tahap pengidentifikasian jenis kaidah kebahasaan yang diperoleh dari materi pembelajaran teks. Padahal, kaidah bunyi dan kaidah kalimat dalam bahasa Indonesia perlu mendapat perhatian lebih dari guru. Dengan menerapkan pola pengembangan kaidah kebahasaan ini diasumsikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan penguasaan peserta didik dalam memanfaatkan kemampuan kaidah kebahasaan tersebut untuk mengembangkan daya pikir dan daya gagasan siswa yang dituangkan dalam tataran bahasa, mulai dari tataran yang paling kecil sampai tataran yang paling tinggi adalah wacana. Hal ini akan dapat menjadi dasar dalam mengekspresikan pikiran dan gagasan siswa dalam bentuk teks. Berdasarkan kondisi ini, tujuan kegiatan yakni memberikan pemahaman konsep kepada para guru Bahasa Indonesia mengenai model pembelajaran kaidah kebahasaan berbasis teks dengan beberapa pola pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap model pembelajaran kaidah kebahasaan yang disusun secara berjenjang sesuai dengan tingkat kelas masing-masing. Hal yang sama juga berlaku pada jenis teks yang diajarkan, yang disesuaikan dengan level peserta didik melalui penerapan model pengembangan kaidah kebahasaan yang diperkenalkan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan ini. Untuk tindak lanjut, disarankan agar model ini tidak hanya diterapkan dalam kegiatan pelatihan, tetapi juga diintegrasikan secara konsisten dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, serta diperkuat dengan pendampingan berkelanjutan agar hasil yang diperoleh lebih optimal.

Abstract

Public speaking is one of the most important skills for students. Public communication skills not only play a role in supporting academic success, but also provide great benefits in professional and social life. In fact, it turns out that many students still experience obstacles when they have to speak in front of many people, including in academic presentations. Based on these facts, this study attempts to classify the obstacles to public communication of students so that recommendations can be provided to overcome these obstacles to public communication in the campus environment. Data were collected using observation and interview methods. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the content analysis method and presented informally. The findings of this study are several obstacles to public communication, namely linguistic, psychological, technical, environmental, body movement, mastery of material, and visual aids. From these findings, it is concluded that the obstacles to public communication in students' academic presentations mostly come from internal factors (linguistic, psychological, body movement, and mastery of material) and external factors (technical, visual aids, and environmental). Students who are less accustomed to public speaking tend to have difficulty organizing material and delivering it well. In addition, the lack of training in the use of presentation aids worsens the situation
