Abstract

inside it, but the price is really high because of the poor supply chain system. This research conducted in Lirung District in Talaud Regency, with period of two months started from March ? May 2017. This research is qualitative research with descriptive study. The primary data is from interviewing the actors involve in supply chain system from upstream into downstream which is: farmer, collector, croupier, big retailer and retailer. the research find that, the supply chain needed to be redesign based on the situation and condition on the field by focusing on Time Efficient scenario, Cost efficient scenario, and Mix scenario, by removing big retailer and Croupier actors. The actors should maintain a good relationship and conducting continues transaction of the material flow with a professional payment system and proper communication, so there will be no bullwhip effect on the supply chain. The supply chain that recommended is based on Cost efficient and the government is needed to take a part in the supply chain as the croupier because government has the resources and ability to conduct that task. So there will be a transparency and flexibility in sharing information of market demand and price.Keywords: management, supply chain, logistic, supply chain management, chili commodity.

Abstract

Abstract: Social networking Web sites are nowadays considered the most popular Web sites on the Internet. Moreover, they appear to be an increasingly useful tool for human resource management professionals to advertise job openings and seek information about job seekers in an efficient and cost-effective way. The aim of this study is to analyze impact of Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) on Job Seekers in Manado. To achieve these objectives the researcher got information from 10 respondents using qualitative study which is in-depth interview and uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results showed that Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) gives a positive impact to all the respondent Social Networking Sites (SNW’s) become an important role for all the job seekers because Social Networking Sites’s is very easy to use, very understandable and also there are a lot of information about job recruitment, job application, the job seekers can see all the company or the instituion that has open the recruitment. The recommendation for the next Job Seekers that will use Social Networking Sites, it wil be more complete if all the Job seekers explore and more about all the positive impact, because nowadays Internet become an important role for the job seekers as an alternative way to find a job. Keywords: social networking sites, job seekers

Abstract

Abstract: The students of IBA are educated and facilitated to become entrepreneurs through various academic programs such as introductory courses and student affair programs such as entrepreneurship courses and entrepreneurial competitions. However, there’s no evaluation that the education and facilitation provided by IBA program is effective enough to create high quality entrepreneur. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the entrepreneurial potential by identify and examine the attributes, mindset, and willingness to be self-employed whether the primary objective is to deliver social value or to create economic value. In accordance with this purpose, the self-assessment questionnaire was administered to 50 respondents among the students of International Business Administration, Sam Ratulangi University. As statistical analysis, this research provides Descriptive Statistics and Kruskal Wallis analysis were used. The result revealed that most of IBA students indicate high level of self-evaluation as entrepreneurial attributes but they are not having enough mindset as well as an entrepreneur. However most of them are willing to be entrepreneur with the primary objective is to create economic value. Therefore, IBA program needs to arrange the strategy in order to set a mindset as well as an entrepreneur and increase the preference of delivering social value.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Potential, Self-Assessment

Abstract

Abstract: Counterfeit products have spreads worldwide, and Indonesia is no exception. Nowadays, the Original and Counterfeit Product has a similarity appearances and can make consumer difficult to distinguish the difference between Original and Counterfeit product, especially for footwear product. Nike shoes is one of 3 most popular footwear product that has been counterfeiting and There are so many users of  Nike Shoes in Indonesia, especially in Manado.This study is aim to know the significant different between Original and Counterfeits product of Nike Shoes Based on Consumer Purchase Intention. The method in this study is quantitative method by used independent sample t-test as the analyzing tools. Samples used in this research are 100 respondents and gathered from questionnaires. The data is analyzed by using SPSS Software. The result show that there is significant difference between Original and Counterfeit product based on the variables of Purchase intention, which is Product Quality, Price, Personal Appearance, Social Influence, and Brand Image. The research recommends for consumer that have intention to buy Nike Original and Counterfeit to choose product based on the variables of Purchase Intention.Keywords : purchase intention, product, originality, counterfeit, product quality, price, personal appearance, social influence, brand image

Abstract

Abstract: Every company or organization must change to survive. In evaluate the change that implanted, feedback is one of a tool that usually used. This research is aims to analyse the employees’ feedback of the change management that implemented at PT. Air Manado specifically in Production and Laboratory that changed their manager. This research is a qualitative research with using in-depth interview in collecting and analysing the data and this research is exploratory study research to find out what phenomena that are happening. Snowball sampling is used. Result discovers some issues that appear in disciplinary, job rotation, leadership, and employees’ trust. Other way, employees also complains about their job safety and financial welfare that must be concerned. What needed from a manager is capable to socialize with subordinates. There must be a courage to fight for employees or subordinates in higher level of meetings and in taking action for subordinates’ lamentation. In job placement at PT. Air Manado and other companies, it is better to not to get intervened by outsiders, high-up people, political parties, and regional government to better the morale and professionallism. Company needs to pay more attention to employee’s welfare.Keywords: human resource management, change management, employee’s feedback

Abstract

Abstract:. This study objectives are to analysis the influence of convinience, e-word of mouth communication, trust also promotion on consumer online decision partially and simultaniously for students at Faculty Economics and Business Sam Ratulangi University. This research use university students as respondents. Sample of this research are 100 respondents. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis. This research finds:the research model consisting of: convinience, e-word of mouth communication, trust and promotion has a positive and significant influence on consumer online decision. Results of hypothesis testing found that convinience, e-word of mouth communication, trust and promotion partially has significant and positive impact on consumer online decision in this research. E-word of mouth communication has the highest impact variable that influence consumer online decision comparing to other variable. Suggestions: E-commerce corporation in this research must pay attention to this research finding. Abstract

Abstract: Entrepreneurial orientation and innovation capability plays an important role in improving business performance and becomes an acceptable meaning to explain the firm performance. Most of the SMEs in Manado, they have a strong entrepreneurial orientation in their business. This research aims to identify the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and innovation capability towards firm performance. This research aims to focus on SMEs of grilled restaurant in Manado. This research using quantitative method. The examined population in this research are the owners of SMEs in Manado. The result of this research which is from questionnaire with 50 respondent shows that entrepreneurial orientation and innovation capability has a positive and significantly influence the firm performance simultaneously and partially. Researcher recommend For the owners to improve the performance of SMEs things that need to be considered and improved are the need for achievement, internal locus of control, self-reliance, and extroversion. Furthermore, Innovation is one of the important things towards firm performance, which is also has a positive impact on the process of innovation and performance. So that owners need to invest more in innovative capabilities and support efforts to introduce new types of innovation. Keyword : entrepreneurial orientation, innovation, and firm performance

Abstract

Abstract : Transportation is the most necessary things in fast-paced era for supporting people’s daily activities. Batik Air as full service airlines should be focus on the quality of service. The aim of this study is to evaluate the importance and performance of Batik Air in-flight service. The variable used in this research are ambience of cabin, in-flight meal service, in-flight entertainment service and cabin crew service. The population of this research is all the customer of Batik Air in Manado and the sample of this research is 100 customer of  Batik Air in Manado who have ever experience its in-flight service. The analysis method that used in this research is Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). Based on the result of IPA, tasty food, top quality ingredients, calm ambience inside cabin are plotted in quadrant I. Hygienics food, aromatic inside cabin, air temperature, flight attendant look attractive, flight attendant is patient and understanding, flight attendant provide information correctly, the polite behavior of flight attendant, friendly service from flight attendant are plotted in quadrant II, well read magazine, reasonable portion, interesting food appearance, interesting decoration, TV screen attract passenger, nice music to hear, various TV programs are plotted in quadrant III. TV facilities not difficult to use and lighting are plotted in quadrant IV. Keywords: Airline industry, Batik Air, In-flight Service, Importance and Performance Analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: Credit assessment for sovereign is generally done by a Credit Rating Agency such as Standard & Poor’s that increase Indonesia rank as a good news for the investment sector in Indonesia, also firm’s variables such as size used  for trading strategies that can outperform the market. This study aims to analyze the market reaction to the announcement of Indonesia Investment Grade. The method that used is event study methodology. Sample used 22 companies of LQ 45 in IDX. Analysis using the 7-days window period with daily stock price and market index. The expected return calculated by market model. T-Test be used to examine the significance of Average Abnormal Return around the announcement. The results of the study is there is a significant abnormal return the day after the announcement of Investment Grade. Another aims in this research is to analyze is whether firm size related to market reaction. The data used is daily market capitalization. The method used is three panel data model : Pooled Model, Fixed Model, and Random Model. Throughout the three models, the firm size hypothesis has positive significant relationship on abnormal return. Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays, social media is growing so rapidly and almost everyone in the world has account social media. Ranging from children to adults use social media to communicate with other people in daily life. The awareness for SMEs in Manado to take advantage in using social media already existed and continues to increase day by day. This research was held in Manado as a developing city in Indonesia with SMEs that has Social media as the samples. Qualitative research is deployed to define the nature SMEs in Manado. The results of this research show the social media can increase the sales, revenue, brand awareness and the number of customer of SMEs in Manado. The problem that SMEs faced in using social media in Manado is the SMEs cannot respond to all customers who want to wonder about their products on social media. For the government, it is necessary to provide good connection internet especially not only in urban but rather in rural areas, because there are still many in rural areas who haven't connected with the internet , with the internet people can access social media which can help the SMES in rural areas to develop their business.Keywords: small medium enterprise, social media impact and its benefit, problem in using social media
