Abstract

This study investigates the effect of travel costs, income, distance, and age on the number of tourist visits to Bukit Lubang Kilat, a natural tourism destination located in Delang Subdistrict, Lamandau Regency. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted over the period of February to March 2023. Primary data were gathered directly from visitors and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the support of SPSS software. The findings reveal that travel cost and distance have a negative and statistically significant effect on the number of visits, indicating that higher expenses and longer distances discourage tourists from visiting. In contrast, income has a positive and significant effect, suggesting that individuals with higher income levels are more likely to visit the destination. The age variable, however, shows no significant effect, indicating that tourist age does not substantially influence their decision to visit Bukit Lubang Kilat. Despite age being insignificant individually, the simultaneous test results indicate that travel costs, income, distance, and age collectively have a significant influence on tourist visit numbers. These results emphasize the importance of economic and geographical considerations in tourism planning, especially in remote or rural areas. To enhance tourist attraction to Bukit Lubang Kilat, local governments and tourism managers should focus on reducing travel-related burdens by improving access, infrastructure, and offering incentives. Additionally, marketing strategies should target higher-income tourists while ensuring affordability and accessibility for broader segments. This research contributes to understanding the determinants of tourist behavior in rural tourism contexts and supports evidence-based policy for sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Selat Barat Subdistrict is a densely populated residential area where people live in tenement barracks. In these Barracks residensials there are many housewives of productive age between 30-46 years mostly had junior high school (SMP) education and have a lot of free time. One of them is the RT.008/ RW.004 Barracks, Selat Barat Village. The existence of Modern Home Industry for housewives can be a solution to improve the region's economy. The potential Contemporary Home Industry as a creative craft product can be a solution in increasing the level of income and welfare of the people in Selat Barat Subdistrict by producing products with minimal cost and higher selling price in the Kuala Kapuas City area. Apart from that, there has never been such contemporary craft in the Central Kalimantan Province region in particular. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training in patchwork quilting sewing techniques. This training includes: (1) preparation, namely preparing training modules, basic knowledge of trial patchwork quilting sewing techniques; (2) implementation of training: making patterns, printing patterns onto fabric, cutting and joining, sewing or connecting; (3) evaluation. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah anorganik melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif berbasis inovasi daur ulang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di lingkungan sekitar UPTD PST Kecamatan Pahandut dan Sebangau, Kota Palangka Raya, dengan melibatkan unsur masyarakat, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Metode mencakup sosialisasi mengenai dampak lingkungan dari sampah anorganik, pelatihan teknis pembuatan kerajinan dari limbah plastik, serta pendampingan intensif dalam pengembangan produk kreatif bernilai ekonomis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memilah serta mengolah sampah anorganik menjadi produk kerajinan, seperti bunga hias dari plastik bekas, yang memiliki potensi nilai jual. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah berbasis partisipasi masyarakat dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam mengurangi beban lingkungan sekaligus membuka peluang ekonomi lokal. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi dengan praktek langsung yang bersifat edukatif mampu mendorong 70% perubahan perilaku terhadap pengelolaan sampah.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities is to increase the income of handicraft businesses made by adding products at Plangka Raya SMEs, by testing product quality in encouraging purchase decisions. The research applies the dynamic capability theory to synergize with the business environment which also strengthens the research structure in the relationship between product quality and purchase decisions. The research method is an associative-quantitative research approach. The population and sample in this study are the handicraft community in Dipalangka Raya. The number of respondents is 100 people who are regular customers of SME handicraft products in Central Kalimantan. The analysis tool used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. The results of this study show that product quality has a significant positive effect in increasing purchasing decisions. The implication of the results is that the importance of product quality drives purchasing decisions inseparable from the theory of dynamic capability, in an uncertain business environment so that business units (SMEs) are able to survive. In the next research, digital marketing variables can be added as a promotional tool that is relevant to the progress of the current business environment.

Abstract

Pelatihan digital untuk meningkatkan promosi usaha batik di Kalimantan Tengah dirancang untuk membantu pelaku usaha batik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan media sosial guna memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya tarik produk mereka. Kegiatan ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain materi pelatihan, dan penggunaan metode pengajaran yang variatif seperti workshop, seminar, dan sesi praktik langsung. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada penggunaan media sosial, strategi pemasaran digital, dan pembuatan konten berkualitas tinggi. Selain itu, pelatihan menyediakan dukungan melalui sesi konsultasi individu, mentoring berkelanjutan, dan akses ke alat digital serta materi edukasi tambahan. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelatihan ini meliputi kurangnya pengetahuan digital, keterbatasan akses internet, dan modal terbatas. Solusi yang diterapkan termasuk pelatihan intensif, strategi promosi organik, dan optimasi konten. Dengan pendekatan ini, diharapkan pelaku usaha batik dapat mengatasi tantangan promosi yang ada, meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam pemasaran digital, dan memperkuat brand batik Kalimantan Tengah di pasar lokal dan internasional. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas batik dan memperkuat posisinya sebagai produk budaya yang berharga di industri fashion.
