Abstract

Pariaman city is one of the areas most severely affected by natural disasters that have the potential for tsunamis. The impact of the earthquake potential tsunami seen in fatalities and damage to infrastructure, both residents' homes and other public facilities. The impact also caused the community to lose their livelihood. Most of the people of Nagari Gunung Padang have livelihoods as farmers, after the earthquake disaster has the potential of a tsunami, many people lost their land and gardens because of the cliff ruins and buried by landslides that caused the land cannot be recycled. By taking into account all the physical, social, and economic aspects, this is the reason for the researchers' interest to conduct research related to the direction of Natural Disaster Mitigation Policy based on Environmental Physical Conditions and Socio-Economic Characteristics of Coastal Area Communities in Pariaman city. With Mixed Method methods, such as simultaneous and sequential data collection. Then descriptive physical environmental conditions and socio-economic characteristics, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in policy direction. The results of this study in the form of an explanation of the physical, social and economic Pariaman city, as well as the policies needed in disaster mitigation in Pariaman city

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi bangun ruang di kelas V SDN 52 Kendari tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen, yang menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 93 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas Vb yang berjumlah 28 siswa, sebagai kelas eksperimen I dan kelas Vc yang berjumlah 30 siswa, sebagai kelas eksperimen II. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diberikan dalam bentuk essay test dan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data  menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa menggunakan model problem based learning dan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada materi bangun ruang kelas V SDN 52 Kendari, dengan nilai thitung = 2,342 > ttabel = 2,021 atau nilai sig. (2 tailed) 0,012 <α = 0,05.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning; Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning; Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika

Abstract

Latar belakang: Dalam era modern ini, minimarket seperti Alfamart dan Indomaret telah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Indonesia. Perbedaan harga antara produk yang sama di Alfamart dan Indomaret bisa disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk strategi pemasaran, kebijakan penetapan harga, biaya operasional, dan promosi yang berbeda. Fenomena ini dapat menimbulkan kebingungan dan ketidakpuasan di kalangan konsumen, terutama ketika mereka merasa bahwa harga yang mereka bayar tidak sesuai dengan yang diiklankan atau berbeda signifikan antar toko. Metode penelitian: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara atau disebut metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: Perbandingan harga antara Alfamart dan Indomaret memiliki variasi yang signifikan tergantung pada produk tertentu. Faktor-faktor seperti strategi promosi, kebijakan harga, biaya operasional, dan kualitas produk memengaruhi perbedaan harga ini. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kesadaran konsumen terhadap perbedaan harga antara Alfamart dan Indomaret serta perlunya pengawasan yang lebih ketat dalam menjaga keadilan harga bagi konsumen

Abstract

The weakness of religious and moral character in students at this time is one of the complex problems. As many students do not understand the ethics of respect for teachers, elders, or colleagues. This study aims to determine the construction of transformative Islamic education in the spiritual aspects, behavior, and knowledge of students through the activities of the Manaqib dzikir majlis. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, and the data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the majlis dhikr manaqib activity was the right activity to cultivate religious character, affected the breadth of students' knowledge, and formed student morale.

Abstract

The training on English for Academic Presentation for professional lecturers at STIKES William Booth Surabaya aims to enhance academic presentation skills in English, enabling lecturers to participate more actively in international seminars. The methods used include structured training, presentation simulations, and feedback sessions for participants. This training covers various aspects such as material preparation, grammar, pronunciation, and presentation style. The results of this training indicate an improvement in the lecturers' presentation skills, including material clarity, grammatical accuracy, better pronunciation, and a more professional and effective presentation style. With this training, it is expected that lecturers will be more confident and competent in delivering presentations at international forums, thus supporting their professional development and enhancing the academic reputation of the institution. Additionally, this training serves as an effort to strengthen lecturers' capabilities in global scientific communication, which is crucial in the current era of higher education globalization. Evaluations conducted through direct monitoring and feedback collection show that participants become enthusiastic and prepared to face international seminars. The program also provides activity documentation in the form of photos and videos uploaded on YouTube for further reference. Abstract

Sea lobster is a commodity that has high value in both national and international markets. Globally, the demand for sea lobster is increasing by about 15% per year. During growth, lobsters undergo a moulting process. Moulting/ecdysis is a very important process in the life cycle of arthropods (including decapods) because shell release is a must for growth and metamorphosis. In improving and assisting the molting process in lobsters, it is assisted by the provision of additional calcium from egg shells. Egg shells contain 94% calcium carbonate, 1% calcium phosphate, 1% magnesium carbonate and 4% organic compounds. In this study, an experiment was conducted on the addition of feed with a mixture of egg shells to support post-moulting optimization and supplement calcium requirements for lobster larvae. The percentage of egg shells as treatment, namely treatment A (0%), B (5%), C (10%), and D (15%) of the total feed to be made for sea lobster. Maintenance is carried out in a controlled tub, for four months. The highest specific growth obtained in this treatment was treatment A (0.06-0.21%) and the lowest was treatment D (-0.02%)-(-0.37%). Furthermore, the highest survival rate was obtained in treatment A (66.7%) and the lowest in treatment D (33.3%), the highest number of molting lobsters was in treatment A (77.8%) and the lowest was treatment D (33.3%). This shows that the addition of eggshell flour to moist lobster feed has not had a significant effect. For further development, it is necessary to research related to the use of additional ingredients in moist feed for lobster.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of domestic violence (DV) in the context of Muslim families with a focus on the understanding and implementation of the rights and obligations of husbands and wives according to Islamic family law. The approach used is qualitative with case studies. This study involved in-depth interviews with victims, perpetrators, and religious figures and Islamic legal experts, as well as observations of the mediation process and resolution of domestic conflicts. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, display, and verification to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results of the study indicate that inequality in the fulfillment of the rights and obligations of husbands and wives is the main factor triggering domestic violence, and the implementation of Islamic family law within a positive legal framework can strengthen protection for victims. These findings provide new insights into preventing and handling domestic violence through an approach based on Islamic values and enrich the perspective of Islamic family law in the context of legal plurality in Indonesia. Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum pendidikan yang terus terjadi, termasuk penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka, dapat menimbulkan penurunan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan perangkat digital dan pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek 25 siswa kelas VI SDN Tasikmadu 2 Kota Malang, mengintegrasikan pendekatan 4C (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus awal, nilai rata-rata evaluasi siswa sebesar 62,4% dan partisipasi dalam kerja kelompok mencapai 79,24%, keduanya masih di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Setelah dilakukan intervensi menggunakan LKPD berbasis proyek dan asesmen digital melalui aplikasi Quizizz (Mode Kertas), terjadi peningkatan signifikan: nilai rata-rata evaluasi menjadi 84% dan partisipasi kerja kelompok meningkat hingga 95,92%. Dengan demikian, penerapan LKPD berbasis HOTS dan penggunaan aplikasi digital secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik
