Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the objectives of Islamic Education according to Ibn Khaldun, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibn Khaldun, 3) the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's educational thought to modern contextual learning. The research method used in this study is library research. While the analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that, 1) the purpose of Ibn Khaldun's contextual learning is to form a perfect human person, while at the same time forming a human personality to be able to live in society, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibnu Khaldun is practically realistic, namely the concept of learning oriented to experience and realistic towards the needs of human life, 3) Ibn Khaldun's educational thought is relevant to modern contextual learning.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to develop learning media of animated games in the subject of the History of Islamic Cultural, to determine product feasibility assessments from media experts, and teacher and student responses to media through questionnaires. This type of research is Research and Development (RD). The game is designed using the Construct 2 application. This research uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research produces learning media in the form of computer-based animation game applications. The results of the study concluded that the animated game learning media for the subject of the History of Islamic Cultural with material from the Umayyad Dynasty was in the “Very Good” category and was suitable for use.Keywords: Learning Media, Animation Game, History of Islamic Culture

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions, especially Pesantren, as one of the components of education, have a vital role as a responsible forum in efforts to reduce the development of radicalism. Lessons in Pesantren, especially the study of the Quran and hadith, require a paradigm shift that can bring Islamic scholarship so that it is not rigid in dealing with issues of radicalism. The study of the Quran and hadith in Pesantren that seems normative and past-oriented must now emerge by internalising the values of religious moderation as a solution to dealing with existing spiritual problems. Training has been held at Nurul Huda Setu Islamic Boarding School Bekasi, West Java, to internalise the values of religious moderation for teachers and educators as facilitators of understanding religious moderation through learning the Quran and hadith. This training is divided into two sessions, namely a theory session and a practical session. Theory sessions use lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer methods. At the same time, practical sessions are carried out through workshops. This training introduced iceberg analysis (iceberg analysis) and U process (U process) developed by Senge and Hamilton. The series includes event analysis, pattern of behavior analysis, and finally system structure examine. The series results can be followed up with the U process, which allows rethinking, redesigning, reframing and reacting.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how religion (Islam) is understood, confessed, and practiced in a way that it interacts positively with local cultures and the concept of nation as a uniting factor of the people in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method by reviewing relevant literature, conducting observation, and interviews with informants in various higher education institutions on Java Island. Data were taken from Islamic Religious Education (IRE) or Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) course, interview with students and lecturers, as well as the course’s accompanying programs administered by public and private universities in Java. The results of the study show that Islamic religiosity and appreciation of local cultures within the frame of Indonesia as a nation can go hand in hand. This mindset is achieved through a religious education course and its extra or co-curricular programs at universities in Indonesia, which is in line with the agenda of building the nation through being religious and maintaining harmony in diverse Indonesian society.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMAN 14 Jakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode, serta tahapan transkripsi data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI berperan dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural, terutama dalam penguatan sikap toleransi dan empati siswa. Nilai-nilai tersebut diintegrasikan melalui Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dalam konten materi ajar serta didukung oleh praktik pembiasaan seperti infak rutin di setiap jam pelajaran. Meskipun demikian, kontribusi integrasi nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran PAI cenderung masih berfokus pada aspek kognitif siswa, sehingga diperlukan penguatan lebih lanjut pada aspek afektif dan praksis.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of the clerics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) East Jakarta in moderate preaching through mentoring religious leaders. In the context of globalization and technological disruption, ulama face increasingly complex challenges, both in conveying religious messages relevant to the times and maintaining religious moderation values. The method used in this service is Service Learning (SL) which refers to the Experiential Learning approach with intensive mentoring using the steps of iceberg analysis and U process. 50 Dai attended the participants of this activity and Daiyah MUI sub-districts in East Jakarta. The results of this activity provide a more comprehensive understanding related to religious moderation, both from theoretical and practical aspects. Development of moderate and contextual da'wah materials, as well as strengthening locality-based da'wah strategies that remain relevant in facing global challenges. Through this activity, MUI clerics will be able to become active agents of change in promoting religious moderation and addressing technological developments wisely and constructively.   Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas ulama Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Jakarta Timur dalam dakwah yang moderat melalui pendampingan kepada tokoh agama. Dalam konteks globalisasi dan disrupsi teknologi, ulama menghadapi tantangan yang semakin kompleks, baik dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan agama yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman maupun dalam menjaga nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Service Learning (SL) yang mengacu kepada pendekatan Experiental Learning dengan pendampingan intensif menggunakan langkah-langkah iceberg analisis dan proses U. Peserta kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 50 orang para Dai dan Daiyah MUI kecamatan di Jakarta Timur. Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif terkait dengan moderasi beragama, baik dari aspek teoritis maupun praktis. Pengembangan materi dakwah yang moderat dan kontekstual, serta penguatan strategi dakwah berbasis lokalitas yang tetap relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini, ulama MUI mampu menjadi agen perubahan yang aktif dalam mempromosikan moderasi beragama serta menyikapi perkembangan teknologi secara bijak dan konstruktif.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan implementasi dari hasil penelitian skema hibah penelitian dasar tahun 2023 yang berjudul “Model Panduan Wisata Halal Elektronik Bahasa Arab-Inggris-Indonesia Berbasis Budaya Lokal Menggunakan Neo-Application di Kabupaten Gorontalo, Aceh Besar, dan Lombok Barat.” Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Basrah, Kota Basrah, Irak, dengan tujuan utama menyosialisasikan dan mempromosikan destinasi wisata halal Indonesia kepada warga Irak untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan ke Indonesia. Upaya yang dilakukan meliputi pemberian pemahaman tentang Indonesia sebagai negara peringkat pertama dalam daftar destinasi wisata halal terbaik dunia berdasarkan laporan Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI) 2023 dari Mastercard dan Crescent Rating; sosialisasi dan promosi destinasi wisata halal Indonesia kepada komunitas akademik Universitas Basrah; serta membangun kerja sama jangka panjang antara Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan Universitas Basrah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa bentuk, yaitu FGD antara tim peneliti, dosen Universitas Basrah, dan perwakilan mahasiswa secara daring; workshop sosialisasi dan promosi destinasi wisata halal Indonesia di depan komunitas akademik Universitas Basrah secara luring; serta tindak lanjut berkelanjutan dalam bentuk pertukaran informasi wisata halal antara komunitas akademik Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan Universitas Basrah yang dilaksanakan secara hybrid.
