Abstract

Domestic violence is a detrimental social phenomenon that produces negative impacts, particularly on women. This study focuses on the Giwu and Saoka Subdistricts in the city of Sorong to delve into the understanding of the resilience of women who are victims of domestic violence. The research aims to analyze the factors that enable women to endure domestic violence. Employing a qualitative approach, specifically a case study research design, the study utilizes nonprobability sampling, particularly through purposive sampling techniques, with data collection taking place from September to November 2023. Data collection involves observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and literature review. The data analysis process begins with reduction, followed by data presentation, and verification. The research findings indicate that factors driving wives to persist involve emotional aspects such as love and spirituality, while external factors encompass social stigma, economic aspects, and concern for children. These findings highlight the complexity of the resilience of women who are victims of violence, influenced by various internal and external factors.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the effect of work experience on work productivity in the Regional Secretariat Office of Gowa Regency. The research method was a quantitative research method with the type of survey research. The hypothesis put forward work experience on work productivity. Data obtained by 114 respondents, while the sample used a creative table which was followed by stratified random sampling. Data analysis technique used a simple linear regression analysis method with Y = 10.978 + 0.683X with the help of Pearson product moment (r) through SPSS Version 22.0 program at α = 0.05 level. The results of this study showed that there was a significant positive influence between work experience on work productivity in the Regional Office of the Gowa Regency Secretariat with a regression coefficient of 0.683 for the interpretation of the regression cofficient in the medium category so that it could be said that there was an effect of work experience on work productivity in the Gowa Regency Regional Secretariat Office.

Abstract

Kondisi sosial di Distrik Sorong Kepulauan menunjukkan masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang kesetaraan gender dan peran keluarga dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan bebas kekerasan. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan kemampuan keluarga dalam mewujudkan suasana rumah tangga yang harmonis dan tanpa kekerasan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif melalui tiga tahap utama, yaitu identifikasi dan survei, pemberian materi edukatif, serta pembuatan media edukasi. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis, masih kerap terjadi secara berulang. Fakta ini menegaskan perlunya intervensi edukatif yang berbasis data untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan ketahanan sosial di tingkat keluarga. Edukasi yang diberikan bertujuan membangun relasi yang adil dan empatik dalam keluarga, serta mendorong terbentuknya masyarakat yang aman, inklusif, dan menghormati hak-hak perempuan dan anak. Media edukasi yang dikembangkan juga berfungsi sebagai alat bantu untuk mendeteksi dini potensi kekerasan serta mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the planning, process, and evaluation of nahwu learning using the Murod Awamil Mandaya book employing the Sorogan method at the Ardaniah Islamic Boarding School Center. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that the planning of nahwu learning at the Ardaniah Islamic Boarding School Center has a structured plan, an intensive learning process, and a comprehensive evaluation. The learning planning already includes setting goals and selecting materials, methods, media, and assessments tailored to the needs of the students. The learning process utilizes the sorogan method, where learning is conducted directly and individually with intensive interaction between teachers and students. The learning evaluation is conducted through written, oral, and observation tests.  Moreover, the evaluation is aligned with the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of the students.   Keywords: Nahwu learning, Murod Awamil Mandaya book, Sorogan method

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine (1) how religious groups can help to avoid violent conduct, (2) how religion and violence are related, and (3) how gender conflict and violent behavior are related. In Sorong City, Southwest Papua, this study employs a quantitative methodology using a correlational design and probability sampling approaches. Cluster random sampling was used to determine the sample. Gathering information via surveys, literature reviews, and observation combined with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.  The results of the study found that religious institutions play a role in preventing violence against women and children through teaching-based education that emphasizes protection and peace. The hypothesis test results showed that religiosity did not significantly affect violent behavior (tcount -0.459 < ttable 1.960; significance 0.647 > 0.05). On the other hand, when combined with gender conflict, religiosity showed a significant effect (fcount 616.697 > fttable 3.04; significance 0.001 < 0.05). This study also revealed that gender conflict was positively and significantly related to violent behavior (tcount 31.665 > ttable 1.960; significance 0.000 < 0.05), indicating that gender inequality and gender role stereotypes exacerbate violence.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Istima’ (listening) materials based on the Audacity approach at SD Islam Cendekia Faiha Palembang. The method used is Research and Development (RnD), consisting of stages including needs analysis, design, development, and limited trials. The results from material and media expert validations indicate that the developed materials are highly feasible for use. The use of Audacity facilitates teachers in creating audio materials and enhances student engagement in learning. The resulting Istima’ materials are effective, engaging, and appropriate to the characteristics of elementary school students.
