Abstract

The implementation of barcode technology in the operations of the Bandeng Jelak MSME has shown significant improvements in efficiency and business performance. Prior to adopting this technology, sales processes, inventory management, and product tracking were conducted manually, often leading to recording errors, delayed services, and decreased accuracy in operational data. Observations indicate that the implementation of barcode technology has reduced transaction errors, expedited the sales process, and enhanced real-time inventory management. Additionally, the use of barcodes enables better sales data analysis, supporting more accurate decision-making in marketing strategies and inventory management. As a result, sales and customer satisfaction have increased, strengthening the competitive edge of the Bandeng Jelak MSME in the market.Key Words : Barcode, Competitiveness, Operational Efficiency and UMKM. Penerapan teknologi barcode dalam operasional UMKM Bandeng Jelak telah menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi dan kinerja bisnis. Sebelum adopsi teknologi ini, proses penjualan, manajemen inventaris, dan pelacakan produk dilakukan secara manual, yang seringkali menyebabkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan layanan, dan penurunan akurasi data operasional. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa implementasi teknologi barcode telah mengurangi kesalahan dalam transaksi, mempercepat proses penjualan, dan meningkatkan manajemen stok secara real-time. Selain itu, penggunaan barcode memungkinkan analisis data penjualan yang lebih baik, sehingga mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam strategi pemasaran dan pengelolaan inventaris. Dampaknya, penjualan dan kepuasan pelanggan meningkat, memperkuat daya saing UMKM Bandeng Jelak di pasar.Kata Kunci : Barcode, Daya Saing, Efisiensi Operasional, dan UMKM

Abstract

ABSTRACTMarketing assistance for Bandeng Jelak UMKM “Jelak Joyo Foods (JJF)” in Blandongan Village, Pasuruan, is an effort in community service activities that aims to increase competitiveness and market reach through the application of e-catalog technology. E-catalog, as a marketing transformation tool, is expected to overcome the limitations of conventional marketing that has been applied by these UMKM. This activity aims to describe the mentoring process in e-catalogue implementation, analyze the challenges faced during implementation, and identify the benefits and impacts on marketing and local economic development. The data collection methods used in this community service activity include interviews, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with UMKM owners, marketing staff, and consumers to obtain a comprehensive perspective on e-catalog implementation. Observation was used to directly observe the marketing process before and after e-catalog implementation, while documentation was collected to verify the results from interviews and observations. The results showed that e-catalogue has successfully expanded the market reach of Jelak Joyo Foods UMKM and increased sales by 15% in the first three months after implementation. Nonetheless, challenges such as lack of technical knowledge and limited human resources are still obstacles in optimizing the use of e-catalogue. In conclusion, marketing assistance through e-catalog has proven effective in helping UMKM overcome the limitations of traditional marketing and encourage a more modern and efficient marketing transformation. The impact is not only felt in increased sales, but also in local economic development through increased market access and competitiveness of UMKM products.Keyword :Bandeng Jelak, Digital Marketing, E-Catalog, Marketing Transformation Tools, and UMKM ABSTRAKPendampingan pemasaran UMKM Bandeng Jelak “Jelak Joyo Foods (JJF)” di Desa Blandongan, Pasuruan, merupakan salah satu upaya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan jangkauan pasar melalui penerapan teknologi e-katalog. E-katalog, sebagai alat transformasi pemasaran, diharapkan dapat mengatasi keterbatasan pemasaran konvensional yang selama ini diterapkan oleh UMKM tersebut. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pendampingan dalam implementasi e-katalog, menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi selama implementasi, serta mengidentifikasi manfaat dan dampaknya terhadap pemasaran dan pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan pemilik UMKM, staf pemasaran, dan konsumen untuk mendapatkan perspektif yang komprehensif tentang implementasi e-katalog. Observasi digunakan untuk mengamati secara langsung proses pemasaran sebelum dan sesudah implementasi e-katalog, sedangkan dokumentasi dilakukan untuk memverifikasi hasil wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-katalog telah berhasil memperluas jangkauan pasar UMKM Jelak Joyo Foods dan meningkatkan penjualan sebesar 15% dalam tiga bulan pertama setelah implementasi. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti kurangnya pengetahuan teknis dan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas masih menjadi kendala dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan e-katalog. Kesimpulannya, pendampingan pemasaran melalui e-katalog terbukti efektif dalam membantu UMKM mengatasi keterbatasan pemasaran tradisional dan mendorong transformasi pemasaran yang lebih modern dan efisien. Dampaknya tidak hanya dirasakan pada peningkatan penjualan, tetapi juga pada pengembangan ekonomi lokal melalui peningkatan akses pasar dan daya saing produk UMKM.Kata Kunci : Alat Transformasi Pemasaran, Bandeng Jelak, E-Katalog, Pemasaran Digital, dan UMKM

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence partially or simultaneously from the variables of discounts, e-WOM, and gender on Impulsive Purchases of Culinary Products Online on Economic Education Students at PGRI Wiranegara University. Food delivery service applications that are often used by consumers are applications such as Gofood, Grabfood, Shopeefood. When buying food or drinks, customers can buy easily and practically thanks to the growing food delivery service. Impulse purchases can occur suddenly, one of which triggers the desire to buy goods without planning or spontaneously, namely the existence of discounts or discounts given. This study uses quantitative research methods, data collection using a questionnaire or questionnaire distributed to 72 respondents. Data processing using the SPSS version 25 application. The data analysis technique consists of validity test, reliability test, descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that (1) there is a partial effect of discounts on impulse purchases of culinary products online on Economic Education Students of PGRI Wiranegara University (2) there is a partial effect of e-WOM on impulse purchases of culinary products online on Economic Education Students of PGRI Wiranegara University. (3) there is a partial influence of Gender on impulsive purchases of culinary products online on Economic Education Students of PGRI Wiranegara University (4) there is a simultaneous influence of discounts, e-WOM and Gender on impulsive purchases of culinary products online on Economic Education Students of PGRI Wiranegara University.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is the key to creating innovation and jobs that can encourage country's economic growth. where every period the unemployment rate increases. Therefore, to reduce the unemployment rate with entrepreneurial activities, the difficulty that many find is growing motivation and interest in entrepreneurship in students. This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial literacy, financial literacy, social media on entrepreneurial motivation mediated by entrepreneurial interest. This research includes a quantitative approach, the population of this research is 186 economic education students for the 2021-2023 class. The research sample was 65 respondents. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 25 statements. The analytical tests used are the classical assumption test, path analysis test, and hypothesis test. The results of this research are: 1) there is a direct influence between the variables Entrepreneurship Literacy, Financial Literacy, and social media on entrepreneurial motivation. 2) there is a direct influence between the variables Entrepreneurship Literacy, Financial Literacy, and social media on motivation for entrepreneurship. 3) there is an indirect influence between the variables Entrepreneurship Literacy, Financial Literacy, and social media on motivation for entrepreneurship through interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the partial or simultaneous affect of the variables of ease of accessing e-commerce (X1) and digital payments (X2) on the consumptive behavior (Y) of Generation Z teenagers, Grati Tunon Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency.With technological developments, e-commerce applications and digital payments are widely used by Generation Z teenagers in making transactions or buying and selling. The convenience offered by this application triggers consumptive behavior among Generation Z teenagers. Consumptive behavior is the behavior of consuming excessive amounts of goods that are not needed just for desires.This research uses quantitative research methods, data collection uses a questionnaire distributed to 90 respondents. Data processing uses SPSS software and is analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests and hypothesis tests.The results of the research show that (1) There is a partial affect of the ease of accessing e-commerce on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z teenagers in Grati Tunon Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. (2) There is a partial affect of digital payments on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z teenagers in Grati Tunon Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. (3) There is an affect of the ease of accessing e-commerce and digital payments simultaneously on the consumptive behavior of Generation Z teenagers in Grati Tunon Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to explore other factors that can affect consumptive behavior among Generation Z teenagers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perencanaan keuangan Gen Z yang dipengaruhi oleh literasi keuangan, pendidikan ekonomi dalam keluarga, dan pendapatan, serta bagaimana financial self-efficacy berperan dalam proses tersebut. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut terhadap perencanaan keuangan Gen Z di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Literasi keuangan, pendidikan ekonomi dalam keluarga, dan pendapatan secara langsung memengaruhi perencanaan keuangan Gen Z; (2) Faktor-faktor tersebut juga memengaruhi financial self-efficacy, (3) Financial self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap perencanaan keuangan Gen Z. (4) Literasi keuangan, pendidikan ekonomi dalam keluarga, dan pendapatan memengaruhi perencanaan keuangan Gen Z melalui financial self-efficacy.

Abstract

Attempts are made to develop quality human resources through the education sector, both school education and education outside of school, because education cannot be separated from producing superior quality Human Resources (HR). This can be done by maximizing human resources so that they can continue their education by fulfilling and adding new knowledge and new experiences at the Higher Education (PT) level. However, the facts on the ground show different things, influenced by several factors. This study aims to determine the effect of academic achievement, parental income and work expectations on the interest in continuing their studies PT in high school students. The ex-post facto research method was used, and questionnaires and documentation were collected. High school students are used as the population. The dependent variable is the interest in continuing their studies at PT, while the independent variables are academic achievement, parental income and work expectations. Abstract

Human capital refers to the intellectual qualities and abilities of individuals that can be used to increase productivity. The theory of human capital, put forward by Gery Becker, explains that investment in education and health can increase individual productivity, thereby driving economic growth. Education and welfare are interrelated, where good health can support a quality learning process and good education can encourage better health. The literature study method was chosen to analyze the role of education and health in reducing inequality and poverty in Indonesia with a focus on the perspective of human capital. The use of secondary data in this study is used to test existing empirical evidence and theories, so that it can provide an in-depth understanding of the role of education and health in developing quality human resources. Increasing public awareness of the importance of primary and secondary education also faces challenges related to gaps in access to education services between urban and rural areas and between provinces, which also have an impact on differences in health outcomes. The government supports human resource development through the Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) and the Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) to improve education and health.

Abstract

Banana pseudostems are an abundant agricultural by-product that has been largely underutilized. In fact, banana pseudostems contain various nutrients such as vitamins A, B, and C, dietary fiber, and tannins, which offer potential health benefits. This study aims to explore the process of transforming banana pseudostems into an innovative food product in the form of chips, while also examining their potential benefits for health, economy, and the environment. The research was conducted through a one-month community assistance program in Kebonagung Hamlet, consisting of several stages: initial observation to identify potentials and challenges, socialization activities to raise awareness of banana pseudostem utilization, training in processing techniques for making banana pseudostem chips, and product packaging. The results of the observation indicated that the community initially had no knowledge of banana pseudostems as an alternative food source. However, through socialization and training, residents gained awareness of the added value of this agricultural waste and were able to apply simple and hygienic processing methods. The resulting banana pseudostem chips demonstrated a unique flavor, crunchy texture, and good nutritional value, making them a promising healthy snack. From an economic perspective, this innovation can open up new entrepreneurial opportunities, improve household income, and expand the diversification of local food products. Environmentally, utilizing banana pseudostems for value-added products helps reduce organic waste that would otherwise go unused. Thus, the innovation of processing banana pseudostems into chips contributes not only to improving community health and welfare but also supports sustainable development through productive use of agricultural waste.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is often identified as a business learning that focuses on building networks and developing profitable business plans. However, it often neglects to teach the students about how their business can be beneficial and impactful for the surrounding community. Therefore, there is a need to incorporate caring economics into entrepreneurship education to cultivate an interest in becoming a sociopreneur, where sociopreneurs are considered capable of addressing social issues such as poverty. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of incorporating caring economics into entrepreneurship education and fostering a sociopreneurial to the students. The research method employed in this study is quasi-experimental, involving only one group without a control group, consisting of 32 students taking entrepreneurship courses. The instruments used include pretests and post-tests to assess the significance of the effectiveness of the caring economics incorporation. Additionally, a questionnaire is utilized to measure the interest in becoming a sociopreneur. The research findings indicate that based on the significance test of pretests and post-tests, the incorporation of caring economics shows a significant difference in the average understanding of students regarding the importance of caring economics in entrepreneurship education. However, the results regarding the interest in entrepreneurship based on caring economics and the interest in becoming a sociopreneur are still in the moderate category
