Abstract

Abstrak  :  Parental  Involvement  in  Improving  Reading  AbilityThe  aim  of  this research is to know the parental involvement in improving the children abilityin Cikole regency  of  Sukabumi.  The  reseach  method  used  is  descriptive  survey  by communicative approach. The population of the reseach are the parents whose children are  studying  in  group  B  of  the  kindergarden  in  Cikole  regency  of  Sukabumi,  the technique of this sample is simple random sampling. Beside that collecting data is as an instrument. The result of this reseach show that the parental imvolment in this region is middle.  1).  The  paarental  involvement  position  in  children  ability,  2)  the  parental involvement  reseach  in  improving  reading  ability,  3)  the  parents  support  to  improve their  children  reading  ability,  and  4)  the  parental  involvement  obstacle  in  improving reading  ability.  The  recommendations  are  parents  should  more  active  and  focus  in improving  their  reading  interest.  The  teachers  should  collaborate  with  the  parents  for the next researcher should be able to do the reseach with the different method.  Abstrak :  keterlibatan  orang  tua  dalam  mengembangkan  kemampuan  membaca pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterlibatan orang dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca pada anak usia dini di Kecamatan Cikole  Kota  Sukabumi.  Metode  penelitian  yang  digunakan  adalah  survey  deskriptif dengan  menggunakan  pendekatan  kuantitatif.  Populasi  penelitian  ini  adalah  orang  tua yang  menyekolahkan  anak  di  taman  kanak-kanak  kelompok  B  se-Kecamatan  Cikole Kota  Sukabumi  dengan  jumlah  sampel  234  orang  tua.  Teknik  pengambilan  sampel dilakukan  dengan  menggunakan  teknik  Simple  Random  Sampling.  Istrumen  yang digunakan  dalam  pengumpulan  data  berupa  kuesioner  keterlibatan  orang  tua  yang dikembangkan  sendiri  oleh  peneliti.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukan  bahwa  keterlibatan orang  tua  di  kecamatan  Cikole  kota  Sukabumi  dalam  mengembangkan  kemampuan membaca pada anak usia dini sebagian besar berada pada kategori sedang dilihat dari segi  1)  Posisi  keterlibatan  orang  tua  dalam  mengembangkan  kemampuan  membaca anak usia dini, 2) Alasan terkait kemampuan orang tua terlibat dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini, 3) Bentuk usaha yang dilakukan orang tua dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini, dan 4) Hambatan yang dihadapi orang  tua  dalam  mengembangkan  kemampuan  membaca  anak.  Rekomendasi  bagi orang  tua  hendaknya  lebih  aktif  dan  fokus  dalam  mengembangkan  kemampuan membaca  pada  anak.  Bagi  guru  PAUD  diharapkan  dapat  berkolaborasi  dengan  orang tua dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca pada anak. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya yang  meneliti  dengan  topik  yang  sama,  dapat  melakukan  penelitian  menggunakan metode yang berbeda.

Abstract

The introduction of learning mathematics is an important part of early childhood. Mathematics is closely related to human daily life. So that children must be introduced from an early age so that they have adequate mathematical skills in carrying out life in the future. In the field itself, there are many activities to introduce mathematics in early childhood, dominated by calistung activities which are drills and paper pencil tests. The school environment is a place for educators to provide meaningful mathematics learning. Learning mathematics for early childhood should be introduced to various and fun methods. This study uses a type of qualitative research. The study involved 4 teachers and 15 students from groups A and B at PAUDQU Al-Anshor. The results of the study show that the application of early childhood mathematics learning in PAUDQU Al-Anshor does not only use drills and paper pencil tests, but is balanced with various other game activities that can refer to learning mathematics.

Abstract

Parental care is one of the factors that influences children's social emotional development. However, quite a few children do not experience complete care from both parents because of divorce. Divorce itself is a condition where the two parents have to separate and force the child to be raised only by one of the parents, father or mother, raised by relatives or even by other people. This research is a literature study by collecting various information from books and journal articles that are relevant to the problem topic under study, namely related to the impact of divorce on the social emotional development of early childhood. The research results show that divorce can have a significant impact on children, especially their social emotional development. Negatively, children who are victims of divorce are more likely to experience anxiety, stress, behavioral and emotional problems, as well as difficulties in building social relationships. However, with support from the surrounding environment, such as teachers, extended family and the community, we can minimize and overcome the negative impact caused by the divorce of parents. Apart from that, the support of parents who are not conflicted and have good relationships can provide affection, communication and maintain the stability of children during the transition period. A factor that is quite good for the social emotional development of children who are victims of divorce.

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out activities applied to the community is to provide an understanding of Islamic values through prayer to children and provide an understanding of the importance of dental hygiene in children and provide early detection measures for cavities. These activities will include observation methods, workshops, group work programs and evaluations. Behind the success of these activities, there are several supporting materials in carrying out these activities, namely the Qur'an, toothbrush and toothbrush teaching aids, as well as articles or journals in supporting the delivery of material about dental hygiene. The results of the activities have been achieved by forming the habit of maintaining dental hygiene for every day and the spirit of carrying out activities based on Islamic values. By doing this activity, children understand and gain knowledge about Islamic values and understand maintaining dental hygiene for every day. After carrying out the KKN work program to the community, the suggestions that we can give to the community to take better care of the heritage or attributes made during the KKN and the local government pays more attention to the condition of the family there, especially the children of the young generation of Indonesia..

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara pengirim Pekerja Migran Perempuan (PMP) terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Ibu yang memutuskan untuk menjadi PMP akan menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan peran dan fungsi ayah khususnya dalam aspek pengasuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang peran pengasuhan ayah di keluarga PMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus melalui teknik wawancara terbuka yang dilakukan kepada 3 orang ayah yang dipilih secara purposif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa ayah mampu bertukar peran dengan ibu untuk menjadi pengasuh anak usia dini. Hal ini menepis banyak pendapat bahwa ayah tidak mampu mengasuh anak yang masih berusia dini. Keterampilan pengasuhan merupakan suatu keterampilan yang dapat dipelajari seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, bukan keterampilan yang selama ini sering dianggap sebagai tugas bawaan atau kodrati. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa peran gender merupakan sesuatu yang dapat dipertukarkan dan lebih cair terutama dalam keluarga pekerja migran perempuan. Meskipun demikian, idealisasi konstruksi gender tradisional pun masih cukup kuat. PMP masih dimaknai sebagai pencari nafkah sekunder meskipun sebetulnya mereka yang menjadi pencari nafkah utama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berimplikasi kepada pengembangan materi pengasuhan bagi anak usia dini, terutama yang berhubungan dengan konsep pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter dalam diri seorang anak.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the competence of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in teaching basic Quranic recitation to early childhood through training in the use of the Al-Barqy method. The reason for this activity is that many PAUD teachers are still confused and have not yet mastered effective Quranic teaching strategies, resulting in many young children still not optimally recognizing the Hijaiyah letters and basic Quranic recitation. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The number of participants in this activity was 40 people and took place at the Al-Hidayah Ciaul Mosque Hall, Sukabumi City. The implementation process was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and reflection-evaluation. The results showed that through this activity, many teachers provided positive responses, stating that teachers gained new understanding, improved teaching skills, and increased confidence in delivering Quranic material. Thus, this training not only positively impacted teacher competence but also contributed to strengthening Islamic religious education in PAUD and fostering children's love of the Quran from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the concept of integrating Qur’anic education and neuroscience in enhancing early childhood intelligence and to identify its implications for effective learning strategies. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by examining various relevant scientific literatures. The data used are secondary data obtained from books, scholarly journal articles, and academic documents related to Qur’anic education, neuroscience, and early childhood development. Data were collected through documentation study by exploring, reviewing, and analysing relevant literature sources. The data were then analysed using a descriptive-analytical method through processes of classification, interpretation, and synthesis of the identified concepts. The findings indicate that Qur’anic education plays a significant role in shaping the balance of children’s intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence, while neuroscience provides scientific insights into brain development processes and optimal strategies for stimulating children's cognitive potential. The integration of these two approaches can enhance memory, concentration, and children's critical and creative thinking skills through learning methods aligned with the stages of brain development. Therefore, this integrative approach has the potential to improve the quality of early childhood education holistically and can serve as a reference for developing curricula and learning strategies that are more effective and applicable.
