Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the interest of researcher to examine the management of production in the Kijang Berantai gallery. The purpose of this research was to describe the production management of Kijang Berantai gallery. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this research was the sociology approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques while the data collection tools used in this research were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, camera and notebook. Testing the validity of the data of this research used source triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that one of the Kijang Berantai gallery programs was to hold dance and music performances performed by implementing art production management so the art performances run smoothly and effectively. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study in class XI IPS 2 Pontianak SMA 4 students was still low level of cognitive understanding; in addition students lacked participation in learning, it caused learning results were less meaningful for students. The learning process of dance still used conventional methods.This reasarch was purpose to describe a concept, implementation, and increase of cognitive study research by dance art with active learning the kind of Crossword Puzzle at XI IPS 2 of SMA 4 Pontianak. This research with kind of action research (PTK) with of two cycles. The technique of all data that used was observations, test, documentation. This research showed increase of pra cycles result with previous learning around 6,67%, after the first cycle learning with result become 63,3% and the second cycle will be 80%.This action active learning strategy with kind of Crossword Puzzle could describe a concept, implementation, and also increase the result of cognitive learning with dance art.Keyword: The result of cognitive leaerning, Dance art Learning, Crossword Puzzle

Abstract

AbstractExistence of Tundang Mayang art of sanggar Pusaka  Sungai Burung village  Mempawah Districts, This reseacrch is motivated by the desire of researcers to find out the existence of Tundang Mayang art of sanggar Pusaka desa Sungai Burung Kabupaten Mempawah. The purpose of this study is: 1). Describe the existence of Tundang Mayang art sanggar Pusaka Sungai Burung village Mempawah districts 2). Describe the factors thet influence the existence of Tundang Mayang art sanggar Pusaka Sungai Burung village Mempawah Districts 3). Describe the Implementation of Tundang Mayang sanggar Pusaka on learning art and culture at school. Research data consist of the existence of Tundang Mayang sanggar Pusaka, factors that influence the existence of Tundang art and efforts to maintain the existence of Tundang Mayang art. Data collection techniques such as observation, interview and documantation. The technique of checking the validity of the data consist of, of extension,of obsevation dan triangulation technique. The analysis technique used is to analyze the data of research results regarding the existence of Tundang Mayang and then consult the resulats of research with the main supervisor and the scond supervisor and conclude the results of the study about the existence of Tundang Mayang art of sanggar Pusaka village Sungai Burung Mempawah Districts .The results of the study are :1) The existence of Tundang Mayang art began the existennce of Tundang Mayang art began in 1992 until now.2) Factors that influence the existence of Tundang Mayang art are the needs of society,culture, economic factors, lack of interest and knowledge. 3) Efforts made by the community and the group of Tundang Mayang. 4) design of the results with a valid currculum as teaching material for arts and culture and skills( Music art) in schools. Keywords : Existence, Tundang Mayang, Sanggar Pusaka.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the importance of preserving traditional arts, especially in this study, namely Belangkah dance. The method used was a descriptive method with a form of qualitative research and using a musicology approach. Data collection technique used observation and interview techniques while the data collection tools used were interview guidelines, observational guidelines and research guidelines as well as assistive devices in the form of camcorders, mobile phones and notebooks. All data obtained in this research were analyzed using musicology review with content analysis techniques. Testing the validity of the data of this study used source triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicated that the musical scales used in the Gasep song were A minor harmonious scales on the natural basic note (A Minor), with an Adante tempo between 80-108 BPM and the bar used was 4/4 and had a three-part song form. In the melody motif there was a literal repetition, repetition at other levels (sequences up and down), magnification of the interval, decrease the interval and enlargement the value of the tone. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is the curiosity of researchers about the various patterns of tahar wasp in Lubuk Dagang village, Sambas district. The problem in this study is how the various wasps patterns. The method in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative form of research. the approach used is the musicology approach. Data sources in the study are Abdan, Hammam Muhyi and Fadilah. The data in this study are the results of interviews, observations, documentation and notebooks about the various patterns of wasps. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This research data collection tool researchers as the main instrument. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation and extension of observation. Data analysis techniques in this study are the analysis during data collection and analysis after data collection. The results of this study were six types of wasp patterns namely habban wasps, rabbut wasps, kuttong wasps, bujjor rhythmic beats, bujjor sion wasps and ribbu-ribbu wasps. This study describes each of the various wasp patterns. Each type of wasp pattern has a wasp motif in the form of literal repetition and uses 4/4 measure.        Keywords: Various Wasp Patterns, Tahar, Hadrah.

Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of the creation of musical works are to 1) offer an innovation and new view in music processing using West Kalimantan traditional music instruments, 2) elevate West Kalimantan culture through sape instrument in melodious musical works so that it is more widely known and worldwide, and 3) become a reference in a musical composition, especially art education in West Kalimantan. The theoretical basis for reference in music creation includes musical composition, elements of musical composition, musical composition techniques, and writing musical notation. This work consists of 4 movements that applies transference, syncretic, and synthesis creation methods. The stages of creation employ several steps which include observation, exploration, composition and evaluation. As an absolute musical work, the discussion and analysis that the author focuses on from each movement lies in the processing of tone and harmony and rhythmic processing. This work is expected to be a reference for music development in West Kalimantan and provide insight for the development of music science, especially the creation of absolute musical works. Keywords: Melodious, Absolute Musical Works, Absolute Music, Music Composition

Abstract

AbstractThe lack of people’s interest in recognizing and learning traditional music, the inappropriateness of the beats modifications that eliminate its original beats, and the great effect of music creation that uses various beats rather than the traditional music that uses monotone beats have been the concern in this study. As a result, the traditional music that should be their identity has become neglected. The purpose of this thesis is to describe the music structure of Pulo Pinang in Menjalin Village, Menjalin District, Landak Regency and Describe the design of the results of research on the structure of Pulo Pinang music in the Menjalin Village, Menjalin District, Landak Regency in school. This is qualitative research using the descriptive method with the ethnomusicology approach. The data in this study were (1) the performance of Pulo Pinang music as competition in a traditional event Naik Dango, (2) Musical instrument Dau, Gong, Tuma’, and Solekng, and (3) the structure of Pulo Pinang music. themes, motifs, bars, scale, bars, tempo, dynamics, and phrases. The findings show that there are 4 musical instruments used in Pulo Pinang music. They are 8 units of Dau, 3 units of Gong, 1 unit of Tuma’, and 1 unit of Solekng. The music uses a block notation in the form of partiture. The result of the study was implemented into a lesson plan, providing a learning material discussing the history of Pulo Pinang music, the musical instruments used in the music, and the procedures of playing the musical instruments in the group. Abstract

The implementation of PGSD student graduates is expected to be able to provide experience in various fields of study, art learning is no exception. In art learning in elementary school teachers are not only able to provide an experience of appreciation but also an experience of expression, where students can sing songs accompanied by music or play musical instruments together. However, based on observations, PGSD students, especially at Gorontalo State University, still lack musical knowledge and skills. This is the basis for implementing PKM. The purpose of the PKM is to provide experience and hone the abilities of UNG PGSD students to accompany songs. The implementation method used is the first coordination of implementation time, technical implementation, implementation of activities, and evaluation. The results of this activity are increasing the insight and knowledge of UNG PGSD students regarding scales and chords, and this activity hones students' abilities in singing songs using keyboard instruments. This activity is also expected to stimulate students and lecturers to always deepen their musical skills so they can develop learning materials

Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of Halim Foundation Chinese traditional music which still exists today. The goal achieved is to find out the development of Halim Foundation's traditional music from time to time, by documenting in the form of writing supported by photographs related to Halim Foundation's traditional Chinese music, so that Halim Foundation's traditional Chinese music can be known by the wider community. The method used in this research is descriptive method and qualitative research research form. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews, observations and documentation studies. Data validity techniques use triangulation techniques and extended observation. Data analysis used several stages, namely reduction, data presentation. The results of this study, the Halim Foundation's traditional Chinese music community has undergone an impressive journey in preserving and promoting traditional Chinese music in the Gajah Mada street area, this community has achieved impressive achievements. the way the Halim Foundation community develops traditional Chinese music is to hold regular rehearsals and often perform in big events. Then regenerate by inviting young people who want to learn Chinese music. In addition, widespread support from the community proves that the efforts of the Halim Foundation community are well appreciated and recognized. the involvement of many people shows that traditional Chinese music still has a special place in the hearts and lives of local communities.

Abstract

Tari Tiga Serangkai merupakan karya tari dari Sanggar Andari yang tercipta pada tahun 2002 atas respon terhadap konflik etnis yang terjadi di Kalimantan Barat pada tahun 1996. Kemajemukan itu dilihat oleh Kusmindari Triwati bukan sesuatu yang memecah belah justru menjadi simbolik Persatuan dan menjadi dasar terbentuknya tari Tiga Serangkai. Tari yang tidak lepas dari musik pengiringnya tentunya saling berkorelasi dalam konsep persatuan dari berbagai etnis tersebut, sehingga Intensitas Budaya yang terkandung di dalam karya ini menjadi menarik untuk ditelisik lebih dalam terutama sebagai sebuah medium pemersatu masyarakat yang mejemuk di Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif serta Etnomusikologi sebagai pendekatan dalam menggali lebih dalam mengenai intensitas budaya dalam sudut pandang musik. Intensitas budaya yang terkandung dalam karya tari Tiga Serangkai oleh Sanggar Andari tampak melalui penyatuan elemen musik dan tarian dari berbagai latar belakang etnis yang ada di Kalimantan Barat. Intensitas Budaya yang terkandung dalam tari Tiga Serangkai bukan hanya sebuah karya gerak tari namun lebih dalam karya tersebut sebagai sebuah penggambaran sejarah, nilai, serta menjadi ruang dialektika antar suku menuju keharmonisan di Kalimantan Barat.   Tiga Serangkai dance is a dance work from Sanggar Andari that was created in 2002 in response to the ethnic conflict that occurred in West Kalimantan in 1996. The plurality is seen by Kusmindari Triwati as not something that divides, but instead becomes a symbolic unity and becomes the basis for the formation of Tiga Serangkai dance. The dance that cannot be separated from the accompanying music is certainly correlated with the concept of unity of the various ethnicities, so that the Cultural Intensity contained in this work becomes interesting to be examined more deeply, especially as a unifying medium for pluralistic communities in West Kalimantan. This research uses qualitative research using descriptive methods and Ethnomusicology as an approach in digging deeper into cultural intensity from a musical point of view. The cultural intensity contained in the Tiga Serangkai dance work by Sanggar Andari is seen through the unification of music and dance elements from various ethnic backgrounds in West Kalimantan. The cultural intensity contained in Tiga Serangkai dance is not only a work of dance movements but deeper than that work as a depiction of history, values, and a dialectical space between tribes towards harmony in West Kalimantan.
