Abstract

Research discusses the benefits of learning rhythm for elementary school students through videos. During the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers are required to be creative in providing online learning. Teachers are required to be able to use various kinds of internet technology which must be used effectively and usefully for the implementation of the learning process properly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, online learning is mandatory for all schools in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to examine in depth the benefits of video-based learning given to elementary school students. The research method used is qualitative with a description approach through literature studies. All data collected is then processed and analyzed by presenting, verifying and concluding data. The results of this study indicate that music learning can be done through videos. Rhythmic as one of the elements of music can have a positive impact on children. Rhythmic learning through body percussion does not limit students to improve their motor skills and musicality. They can easily do body percussion learning through videos because students don't have to bother looking for musical instruments because their own bodies are used as sound sources. The addition of musical accent symbols to body percussion games also has a positive influence on students' sensitivity and motor skills. Another benefit is that learning through video can be done flexibly for students, as well as increasing independence and self-confidence for students.

Abstract

Masalah percaya diri dapat terjadi pada diri manusia tak terkecuali pada diri pianis pemula yang berakibat pada penurunan permainan piano. Restrukturisasi kognitif menjadi sasaran dalam penelitian ini yang dilakukan analisis sebagai peningkatan rasa percaya diri pada pianis pemula di La Music Course Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Kehadiran peneliti dilaksanakan berdasarkan observasi, pengambilan data, dan melakukan analisis secara langsung. Subyek penelitian adalah kursus piano tingkat umur 13-17 tahun berjumlah lima orang di lembaga musik La Music Course. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan kelima pianis pemula untuk kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan domain, taksonomi, komponensial, tema kultural, dan perbandingan konstan. Pemeriksaan data keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dengan mengambil ahli di bidang konseling dan bidang musik. Hasil yang diadapatkan bahwa restrukturisasi dapat diterima dan digunakan serta memiliki kualitas untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri pada pianis pemula di lembaga musik La Music Course Pontianak.

Abstract

Kajian fenomenologi mencoba menelaah pemanfaatan alat musik dari sampah yang digunakan dalam model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan ADDIE. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah mengungkap berdasarkan pengalaman fenomena sampah yang terjadi di Indonesia dengan peningkatannya dapat diatasi dengan salah satunya produk alat musik dari botol kaca bekas sehingga terbentuk alat musik saron. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah fenomenologi dengan konstruk kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif serta kajian literasi. Subyek penelitian menggunakan fenomena sampah di Indonesia dengan target jenjang pendidikan SMP dan kurikulum KTSP 2006. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan pemotretan dengan mengamati serta menelaah fenomena sampah yang ada di Indonesia serta dokumentasi dalam bentuk artikel model pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan kerangka pengambilan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian fenomenlogis bahwasanya karakteristik model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan ADDIE membentuk kerangka solutif atas permasalahan fenomena sampah sehingga dimaanfatkan dalam produk alat musik dari botol kaca bekas yang membentuk replika alat musiksaron . Selain itu, kondisi model pembelajaran ADDIE sebagai konstruk produk pembelajaran dapat menghasilkan kualitas dan kuantitas alat musik botol kaca bekas menjadi lebih optimal dalam penggunaannya. Produk ini juga dapat menjadi penignkatan keterampilan sosial maupun musik yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik serta membentuk daya kritis dan kreativitas pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Traditional music, especially Krumpyung Kulon Progo, presents a different performance in the multimedia era. These differences need to be studied in the form of art criticism so that a work of art can be seen objectively. The purpose of this study is to provide a critical review of the results of the transformation of Krumpyung Kulon Progo. The method of this research study uses qualitative with an in-depth analysis approach from Edward Felman's art criticism theory, namely based on description, formal analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. The data collection stages used observation, in-depth interviews with Kulon Progo artists on krumpyung music, and written documentation. Data reliability technique using source triangulation. Data analysis uses four stages starting from data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The art criticism study obtained is related to the results of the transformation in the form of Krumpyung presentation, which is a genre that changes the conception of instruments, songs, and tone systems. The instruments used by adding modern musical instruments such as electric guitar, electric bass, and drum set. Meanwhile, the songs performed are contemporary songs with changes in the nuances of the dangdut genre coupled with a diatonic tonal system. The purpose of the transformation is not to change the authenticity of Krumpyung's traditional music, but to be a persuasive step in regeneration and community support for traditional music.

Abstract

Traditional music Krumpyung is a local arts from Kulon Progo. The declining quality coupled with the lack of performers, containers, and limited performance time made the revitalization of Krumpyung happen. The objective of this research is to describe the result of revitalization analysis of the form, song, and function of presenting traditional music that done by Srawung Krumpyung as a step of regeneration and conservation efforts. This research is using qualitative research with narrative study and case study methods to determine that revitalization can be used as a step of regeneration and conservation efforts. Data collection technique that used in this research is snowball sampling by doing deep interview, collect data from Dinas Kebudayaan Kulon Progo Regency, or watching video documentations. The validity data form this research is measured by triangulation of sources. Data analysis technique that used in this research is interactive model by Huberman and Miles. Result of this research is revitalization can be used a step regeneration and conservation efforts by: (1) reconstruction, (2) refunctionalization, (3) representation, (4) reformation, (5) reinterpretation, (6) reorientation, and (7) recreation. The value of step regeneration and conservation efforts manifested in: (1) creativity, (2) love of the homeland, and (3) environmental care.

Abstract

This research is development of interactive video-based  solfeggio learning media in the Performing Arts Education Study Program, FKIP, UNTAN. The purpose of the study is to produce products in the form of interactive video solfeggio learning media, test the feasibility of interactive video-based solfeggio learning media, and describe the response of educators and students to interactive video-based solfeggio learning media. The research method used 4D Thiagarajan research and development with stages of define, design, development, and dissemination. The subjects and research time of students in semesters 3-5 and will be held from July to September 2022. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and interviews. Research instruments are addressed to media and material validators and users by providing instrument questionnaires as well as criticism, input, and suggestions. Data analysis uses a Likerts scale. The results of research that interactive videos are very worthy of being used as a learning medium for solfeggio. Based on the results of media validation by students that solfeggio material can improve the ability to read block notation.

Abstract

Music practice assessment training at the Bengkayang Regency Arts and Culture Subject Teachers' Meeting is important considering the lack of development of assessments specifically in arts and culture learning. Objectivity when assessing a student's skill in practicing music needs to be evaluated. This form of evaluation can be done through an assessment of music practice. The PKM implementation method has stages, namely the preparation stage by coordinating with partners, the implementation stage conveying assessment material along with discussions and questions and answers, and the evaluation stage adjusting the results of activities in the form of rubrics that are worked on by participants with the conditions and situations of partner schools. The results obtained in this PKM are that participants have an objective view of the assessment of music practice and have an assessment rubric in determining the score of each music practice assessment criterion. With evaluation, it will continue to develop the assessment of the music. Through the Tanjungpura University Community Service program as well as the MGMP for Cultural Arts and also the Bengkayang Regency Education Office, the results of collaboration and friendship between implementers and partners have been.

Abstract

Era pandemi covid-19 merubah peradaban yang terjadi di berbagai lingkup termasuk pendidikan. Evaluasi pembelajaran menjadi salah satu yang berdampak, karena adanya perubahan kebiasaan dalam melakukan evaluasi dari semula manual menuju sistem komputerisasi. Pelatihan bagi dosen dengan Sistem Bank Soal Uji Kompetensi (SIBUK) berbasis website yang dijalankan dengan local host oflline serta pelaksanaan ujian dengan menggunakan google form menjadi fasilitas dan pendukung pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran daring. Pelatihan ini juga memunculkan dampka kreatif bagi dosen karena kebijakan Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura yang menginginkan kegiatan pembelajaran dan evaluasinya tetap berjalan semestinya. Metode pelatihan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis website ini dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu pengenalan google form secara ceramah, pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelejaran menggunakan google form pada masing-masing data kuliah secara demonstrasi, dan simulasi serta penerapan evaluasi pembelajaran secara praktik. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa 9 dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan dapat mengimplementasikan pembuatan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan google form, sehingga hal ini dapat mengoptimalkan bagi dosen untuk menerapkan evaluasi pembelajaran di setiap masing-masing mata kuliah yang diampu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the agukng magicity in Balala' ritual of Dayak Kanayatnese. Agukng in Balala' ritual have rhythm elements, mean and value, and could be seen in symbolic mean. The method for research agukng in Balala’ ritual was qualitative form.The source of data collection were agukng sound and the attitude of Balala' ritual practicioner and submitted with observation technique, interviews, and documentary study. The research findings showed that Balala' ritual have rhythm elements, which were beat and accent that summarized in one rhythm pattern. From symbolic mean, agukng showed bravery symbol, hope, and happiness for the success of Balala' ritual. Agukng in Balala' ritual or lockdown was implemented to resist or prevent pandemic virus COVID19 or known as Corona virus that functioned as connecting communication media between people and Awa Pama or ancestor. With this, agukng in the balala' ritual implicitly conveys an attitude that is worth togetherness in the Dayak Kanayatn community so that they consciously and jointly build a better civilization

Abstract

This hermeneutic study research seeks to translate traditional songs from West Kalimantan, particularly thos of Cik-Cik Periok. The purpose of the application research is to study Cik-Cik Periok’s song historical context, an interpreter’s interpretation of meaning, and cultural context in order to find the deep context. The method for expressing subsequent interpretations uses qualitative methods with a Schleiermacher romantic hermeneutic approach that focuses on grammatical interpretation, technical interpretation, and cultural context. The data collected comes from in-depth interviews with ethnographers, writers, and language academics. The hermeneutical study discovered interpretations and translation results in the historical context of the Sambas people’s daily life in the West Kalimantan region; the technical interpretation of the song text is the attitude of respect implied to newcomers in the area; and the cultural context associated with character education Cik-Cik Periok’s song.
