Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the Pancasila student profile and students' mathematical literacy skills and to determine the Pancasila student profile affects mathematical literacy skills. Therefore, the data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test because it only involved 1 sample group. The sample in this study was 31 students of class X of the 2024/2025 academic year at a high school or equivalent in Pesawaran, Lampung. The sample determination was carried out using a purposive sampling technique because the researcher could not change the class that had been determined by the school. We chose the school as our research object because it had implemented the independent learning curriculum. Data collection was carried out using test techniques and the Pancasila student profile scale. The findings of the study indicated that no relationship between the Pancasila student profile and students' mathematical literacy. Based on the R Square value, which is 0.001, it shows that the influence of the Pancasila student profile on students' mathematical literacy is 0.1% and 99.9% is influenced by other variables that are not studied. The study was limited to finding out whether there is a relationship between the Pancasila student profile and students' mathematical literacy skills, and knowing to what extent the two variables influence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore Ethnomathematics of Geometry concepts in Kedatun Keagungan traditional house architecture. It is hoped that students will more easily explore understanding of mathematical abstractness through visual representations in familiar cultural forms. Learning mathematics by linking the surrounding culture so that learning is more meaningful for students. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques begin with observation, compiling and validating instruments, documentation studies and FGD. Data analysis technique uses the Spradley model. Based on the research results, it was found that Ethnomathematics in the Kedatun Keagungan traditional house has applied mathematical concepts both to the components of the house building and the ornaments inside which include: (1) the concept of geometry which consists of shapes, shapes and angles, (2) the concept of Geometry Transformations consisting of Symmetrical properties, Translation properties, Reflections, and Dilations. The results of this research can be used as a reference in developing teaching materials on Geometry material so that learning becomes more meaningful.

Abstract

This study aims to describe mathematical literacy abilities as viewed through Gregorc’s thinking styles, which are classified into four types: concrete sequential (CS), abstract sequential (AS), concrete random (CR), and abstract random (AR). This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling from a population of 23 11th-grade MIPA students. The sample consisted of two students representing each thinking style category. Data collection techniques included a mathematical literacy test and the Gregorc thinking style questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that CS and AA students generally able to construct models, apply them, and interpret results, but they still lack precision. AS students tend to be less systematic and less accurate in their problem-solving, while CR students still struggle to understand information and determine solutions. Overall, differences in thinking styles influence students’ precision, thoroughness, and accuracy in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted various aspects of people's lives, including the economic sector that occurred in Tanjung Waras Hamlet, Merak Batin Village, RT 15, South Lampung. The observations show the residents' lack of knowledge and creativity in managing the harvest of chicken livestock to improve the creative economy of the residents. Therefore, to maximize this potential, our community service team from the University of Muhammadiyah Lampung assists the community by utilizing chicken harvest to improve the economy. The research method used is qualitative, with activities consisting of preparation, assistance, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring. Data is collected using observation techniques, questionnaires, interviews, and group discussion forums (FGD). This activity was carried out on 6-12 July 2021 in Tanjung Waras Hamlet, Merak Batin Village, RT 15 participants with 20 participants. The results of this activity show that: 1) 90% of respondents succeeded in making frozen food products made from chicken. 2) sales results after being processed into frozen food products provide profits of up to more than 75%. This also makes residents more creative in processing raw chicken pieces into processed products that can provide income and help residents overcome economic problems during the COVID-19 pandemic. Marketing of processed products is carried out by residents from home and also through social media. Â
