Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study is aimed to know are there are positive effects of using sumary in post activity to evaluate the students’ reading achievement at second year students of MA Darul Aminin Aik Mual in academic year 2023/2024. The sample i this study was 66 students, in which 33 students from class XI IPA and XI IPS. The data were collected for more than one month. The method use this study was quantitative effects of using summary in post activity. The writers use multiple choice tests. Base on the study the experimental group is more successful than the student of control group, the deviation of the two mean score (3,12 : 2.6) is also significant as shown the value at t-test 3,058 from the result it can be concluded that the use of summary in post activity have positive effect to evaluate the students reading achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to study the antioxidant activity of chitosan-alginate films by adding Moringa oleifera leaf extract. These films will be applied as active packaging for food. This research was initiated by the extraction of Moringa oleifera leaves. The Moringa oleifera leaves extract was prepared maceration and soxhletation techniques using distilled water as a solvent. The maceration method is resulting the yield 6.97%, while the yield of extract from the soxhletation method was 8.57%. After the extraction process, screening phytochemicals of Moringa oleifera leaves extract was tested to identify secondary metabolite compounds. Screening phytochemicals of the extract showed that Moringa oleifera extract contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. Synthesizing of films was conducted at room temperature through a homogenization technique using a hot plate stirrer. The variations of final concentrations of extract were 0% (film A0), 0.50% (film A1), 0.75% (film A2), and 1.00% (film A3). Based on the antioxidant activity test using DPPH, the % RSA value of films with the addition of extract from soxhletation method was higher than films with the addition of extract from the maceration technique. The highest percentage of RSA value was 43.65% from A3 film with the extract's final concentration of 1.00%.

Abstract

West Kalimantan Province has five Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), one of which is the Randayan MPA. It is located in Bengkayang Regency abd was officially established in 2019 through Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat No. 1. One of the mandated activities was public education on conservation, which mostly targeted adults whose livelihoods depended on the extraction of natural resources. Concerning the conservation awareness gap for teenagers and children, our Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) initiated the application of the concepts of Social Capital and Bandura’s Social Learning Theory to facilitate this the community. It was found that the involvement of multi stakeholders supports the well-rounded learning experience for the children and teenagers in enchancing their awareness about the conservation of marine ecosystem and the life of under water. Online guest lecture from Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries as well as guided learning process by undergraduate students through their community service program are some of the influential initiatives.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to identify how much influence employee health and safety has on employee performance. Methodology: Sampling in this study used 96 respondents, the data collection technique was through questionnaires distributed to respondents, and the research variables were Health (X1), Safety (X2), Performance (Y). This study used descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach, and to test the level of reliability using Cronbach Alpha and then the data was processed with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Hypothesis testing used the F Test and t Test with a significance level of 10%. Researchers used SPSS Version 17. Main Findings: From the results of multiple linear regression analysis shows that employee performance is influenced by health variables and work safety variables. The determination results (R2) use the adjusted r square value, because it uses regression with more than one dependent variable, which is 0.685, which means that health variables and work safety variables are able to explain employee performance by 69% while the remaining 31% is influenced by other variables not studied. From the results of the F test and t test calculations, it can be seen that health variables and work safety variables together affect employee performance and the most dominant variable is the work safety variable. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study presents a new perspective by evaluating the effectiveness of employee participation-based K3 implementation as a mediating variable that has not been widely researched in relation to increasing individual productivity and performance in industrial sector organizations.
