Abstract

This study aimed to examine the position and role of Ulama in resolving human rights violation cases by the Aceh Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). It analyzed the ulama representations within the Aceh TRC commissioners, their role in reconciliation, and factors that influence the role of the ulama. Data were obtained through interviews and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the ulama’s role was dismissed in cases of human rights violations. TRC's commissioners did not represent Ulama or play a significant role in the reconciliation process. Their diminished role in conflict resolution relates to delegitimization in Aceh. It occurred due to the scarcity of qualified ulama to solve the conflict and friction or polarization among them. Other causes were the ulama’s lack of attention to human rights issues and the emergence of new actors that took over their conflict resolution roles. Ulama in Aceh could reaffirm its role in conflict resolution by restoring its legitimacy. They must improve their quality and formation based on day ah, strengthen their unity, avoid friction and polarization, and maintain neutrality. Ulama should also increase their involvement in conflict resolution and human rights issues.

Abstract

Many interests of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Islamic UIN IB Padang who need and use Online Transportation. To know the influence of prices, services, comfort in choosing online transportation services. This type of research uses quantitative research, which is to analyze data in numbers and process it using statistical techniques. The assumption of quantitative research is that the facts of the object of research have objective reality and that the variables can be identified and their relationships measured. The results obtained from the study can be concluded that of the Adjusted R Square value of 0.221 (41.2%). It can be interpreted that the independent variable (price, service, convenience) is 0.221 (22.1%), while the rest is influenced by other factors not included in this study variable is 0.87.8 (87.8%). From the above t test it can be concluded that the price (X1) has a sig. value (0.039) < (0.05), then partially significant influence on interest in using online transportation services. Services (X2) has a sig value (0.000) < (0.05), then partly has a significant impact on the interest to use online transportation services. Comfort (X3) has sig. (0.619) > (0.05), so partially has a significant effect on the interest in using online transit services. From the F test above it can be inferred that the Price (X1), Service (X2), Comfort simultaneously have an important influence on the value of income sig (0.001) < (0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced by law students in conducting legal research and writing academic papers, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI)-based technical guidance in addressing these challenges. The research employs a normative and empirical juridical approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to participants of the technical guidance and literature studies. The findings reveal that most students struggle to determine research topics, formulate problems, select relevant theories, and construct logical frameworks. However, after participating in AI-based technical guidance, their understanding and skills in legal academic writing improved significantly. AI, particularly ChatGPT, proved to be an effective tool for accelerating the writing process, formulating legal arguments, and exploring references. Nonetheless, AI usage must be carried out responsibly, considering academic ethics, paraphrasing skills, and a strong grasp of legal research methodology. These findings highlight the need for AI literacy training and the development of academic policies that govern ethical AI usage in higher education institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the social justice vision of the Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) in the development policy of the West Sumatra government. This research is conducted in West Sumatra Province, selected as the research location considering that West Sumatra is known for its strong adherence to Islamic teachings and the homogeneity of its social and cultural life. Significant development policies in West Sumatra. This research examines three main aspects, namely the implementation of the vision of social justice, its derivative programs, and implementation barriers. This research uses descriptive-analytical methods through literature studies, document analysis, and interviews.  The results showed the transformation of PKS's vision into the West Sumatra government's development policies through a strategic framework based on religion, politics, economics, and socio-community, with a holistic strategy that integrates Islamic values and local culture through religious da'wah, education, and community empowerment, especially in the economic sector that focuses on equitable development, income equality, Although the research findings also reveal obstacles in the form of a lack of synergy and collaboration in implementation, overall PKS has succeeded in utilizing religion and culture as a transformative instrument to realize social justice in West Sumatra.

Abstract

The importance of bioelectricity and biomagnetism in neurotechnology has been outlined in this study. There are three main processes in neurotechnology, namely: signal delivery, data storage and data processing. These neurotechnological processes require three essential things, namely measurements, tools and materials. This scientific study describes the form of signal delivery in neurotechnology, the form of data storage and the form of data processing. The measurement methods that can be applied have also been described along with the tools and materials. Bioelectricity plays a very important role in building neurotechnology. Meanwhile, biomagnetism is an important aspect that cannot be separated from the phenomenon of bioelectricity which also supports systems in neurotechnology. The phenomena of bioelectricity and biomagnetism in neurotechnology are described in this study along with measurement devices and materials. Measuring devices and materials must be modified as conditions permit in their working conditions. It has also been studied that natural neurotechnological data storage in living creatures is through muscle memory, signal delivery occurs in the form of bioelectricity and data processing is a combination of data delivery and storage. This study also examines the future prospects of neurotechnology along with its moral aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi masyarakat Desa Beringin, Kecamatan Ranoyapo, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan terhadap politik dan demokrasi dalam konteks Pemilu 2024. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara semi-terstruktur dan observasi partisipan. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk memastikan representasi berbagai kelompok dalam masyarakat. Temuan menunjukkan adanya sikap skeptis terhadap janji politik yang berlebihan, namun juga kesiapan menerima hasil pemilihan. Masyarakat menunjukkan kapasitas kritis dalam mengevaluasi program kampanye, dengan faktor religius dan nilai lokal masih berpengaruh signifikan. Terdapat potensi pasivitas dalam pengawasan pemerintah pasca pemilihan, mengindikasikan perlunya strategi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam proses demokrasi secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Aturan Nagari Sungai Talang yang berbasis lisan mengalami penurunan efektivitas akibat lemahnya penegakan sanksi dan perubahan norma sosial. Latar belakang masalah ini terlihat dari banyaknya pelanggaran aturan, seperti ketidakpatuhan terhadap larangan keluar malam bagi perempuan dan pelonggaran sanksi bagi pelaku zina (dari pengarakan menjadi denda material). Permasalahan ini diperparah oleh kurangnya dokumentasi tertulis dan minimnya pemahaman generasi muda terhadap nilai adat. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, diusulkan tiga langkah solutif: (1) kodifikasi aturan lisan menjadi dokumen resmi yang terstandarisasi, (2) revitalisasi sanksi adat dengan menyesuaikan tingkat pelanggaran, dan (3) sosialisasi intensif melalui forum musyawarah dan media digital. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperkuat legitimasi aturan Nagari, meningkatkan kepatuhan warga, dan mengembalikan fungsi aturan sebagai penjaga ketertiban sosial. Metode pelaksanaannya meliputi: pendokumentasian aturan dengan Nagari,tokoh adat, Pemuda, Bundo Kanduang dan Bamus, penyusunan pedoman sanksi berjenjang, serta kampanye melalui kanal komunikasi pemuda. Hasil yang diharapkan mencakup terciptanya payung hukum tertulis, penurunan angka pelanggaran, dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam penegakan aturan. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan multidimensi ini tidak hanya mengatasi kelemahan aturan lisan tetapi juga memperkuat ketahanan budaya Nagari terhadap dinamika perubahan sosial. Implementasi kegiatan diharapkan mampu menjadi model tata kelola adat berkelanjutan bagi nagari lainnya di Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Meninggalnya pekerja maka berakhir pula hubungan kerja dengan sendiri atau dikenal dengan Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja demi hukum. Konsekwensi dari meninggalnya pekerja, ada hak ahli waris yang diterima. Dalam tulisan ini penulis membahas hak waris pekerja yang meninggal dunia mulai dari ketentuan yang ada di pasal 1603 j KUPerda dan ketentuan Pasal 1601 y KUHPerdata. Lebih lanjut ketentuan Pasal 61 UU No. 13 tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan begitu juga dalam ketentuan UU No. 166 UU No. 13 tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Namun lahirnya UU No. 11 tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja, menghapus ketentuan Pasal 166 UU No. 13 tahun 2003 Tentang Ketenagakerjaan, dan memuat subtansi Pasal 166 UU No. 13 tahun 2003 , dalam ketentuan Pasal 57 Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia (PP) Nomor 35 Tahun 2021 tentang Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu, Alih daya, Waktu Kerja dan Waktu Istirahat, dan Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja yang merupakan peraturan pelaksana UU Ciptaker.
