Abstract

The objectives of the study are to describe the social condition of the novel and the other sources and to analyze the novel by means of sociological aspect to know the social condition in Paris during the French revolution in the novel A tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, focusing on the portrait of social condition in Paris. The methods used in this research are observation and documentation. The research findings are; first, there are injustice conditions before the revolution have done by the aristocrats such as politic, economy, oppression, and so on which have to face by the citizens. Second, all the injustice has done by aristocrats made social disappointment and led to revolution. Third, the government, even in absolute monarchy term, could be ruined by united people in the same purpose; they wanted better change for their country.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of mutation and remuneration on job satisfaction and employee loyalty at the Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Jember. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection using a sample of all employees of KPP Pratama Jember totaling 93 samples. Data analysis is carried out using Variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of Warp PLS V.8.0. The results of the study show that mutation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, as well as remuneration. Job satisfaction also has a strong positive impact on employee loyalty. This finding emphasizes that good management of mutation and remuneration can increase employee satisfaction and loyalty in the tax institution. Path analysis results show significant direct and indirect influences among variables. Mutation and remuneration affect job satisfaction, while job satisfaction becomes a significant mediator in the relationship between mutation, remuneration, and employee loyalty. This research contributes to understanding the factors that influence job satisfaction and employee loyalty in the tax institution environment. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesadaran akan pentingnya konsumsi pangan halal di komunitas Muslim global perlu ditingkatkan. Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Taiwan menghadapi kesulitan dalam memperoleh pangan halal yang berkualitas dan terjangkau di lingkungan dengan mayoritas non-Muslim. Oleh karena itu, mereka harus lebih bijak dalam memilih makanan yang sesuai. Metode: Pelatihan ini dilakukan melalui ceramah dan sosialisasi kepada 21 PMI di Taiwan. Untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman, peserta mengisi angket pre-test dan post-test melalui Google Form. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 57,8 pada pre-test menjadi 83,7 pada post-test. Sebanyak 95,24% peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya konsumsi pangan halal dan gizi seimbang. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran PMI di Taiwan dalam memilih makanan halal dan bergizi, sehingga dapat mendukung kesejahteraan mereka selama bekerja di luar negeri.

Abstract

Learning style is the preferred way of processing experience and information. Learning styles are habits that reflect the way we treat the experiences we gain through modalities. The conception of learning styles is an important thing to explore. This study uses the literature research method. The data source is in the form of scientific texts which are analyzed usingcontent analysis. The research results show thatEach student has their own learning style habits. It cannot be forced when students have a visual learning style but are taught with learning strategies that tend to be auditory or kinesthetic learning styles. Learning strategies with learning styles have a close relationship. Likewise in religious grandiose lessons which obviously have different learning styles because there is a lot of practice from theoretical material. Then it is necessary to combine learning styles, including visual learning styles, auditory learning styles, and kinesthetic learning styles

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in cultivating students' self-confidence at MTsN 9 Jombang. Through the descriptive qualitative method, this research reveals the multidimensional strategies applied by teachers in developing students' self-confidence. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of student affairs, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students, and supported by observation and documentation. The results showed that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher acts as a guide who provides information, motivation, and direction to students. The cultivation of self-confidence is done through various methods, including giving advice, habituation, rewards, and personal approaches. Madrasahs also facilitate the development of students' self-confidence through extracurricular activities and comprehensive evaluations involving daily tests, individual and group assignments, and question-and-answer methods. Collaboration between the madrasah head, the head of student affairs, the Aqidah Akhlak teacher, and the counseling teacher creates an educational ecosystem that supports the development of students' self-confidence. This research contributes to the development of a holistic guidance model that integrates pedagogical, psychological, and spiritual aspects in Islamic education, offering a new perspective on the approach to character education in the madrasah environment

Abstract

This study analyzes the ideology of digital preaching on YouTube delivered by Ustaz Firanda Andirja, Ustaz Abdul Somad, Ustaz Adi Hidayat, and Emha Ainun Nadjib (Cak Nun). Using a Social Network Analysis (SNA) approach, the research explores the social dynamics emerging from interactions in the comment sections of their preaching videos. The findings identify four dominant ideologies: literalist Islamism, which creates schisms in contextual and ethical preaching elements (Ustaz Firanda Andirja); nationalist Islamism, which causes schisms in contextual and comparative elements (Ustaz Abdul Somad); modernist Islamism, which generates schisms in historical elements (Ustaz Adi Hidayat); and conservative Islamism, which triggers schisms in contextual and ethical elements (Emha Ainun Nadjib). This study demonstrates that digital preaching content not only reflects the ideologies of the preachers but also significantly influences public opinion on social media. The findings highlight the importance of understanding ideological dimensions in digital preaching to address social dynamics more effectively.
