Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to produce a four-tier multiple choice objective test on static fluid material to explore the misconceptions of high school students in Pontianak. The method used is Research and Development (R & D) with the Four-D model. The test consists of  20 four-tier multiple choice questions. The trial involved 30 students in a small-scale trial, and 192 students in a large-scale trial. Characteristics used are characteristics of diagnostic tests. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the diagnostic tests developed can be used to explore misconceptions of students, namely: 1) high content validity 2) validity of valid items, 3) high reliability, 4) moderate level of difficulty, 5) RI according to education level learners. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to remediate student?s misconceptions used Flipped Classroom model on Impulse and Momentum subject in Senior High School 7 Pontianak. This research used experiment method with pre-experimental design form and used Nonequivalent Control Group design. This sample used Nonprobability sampling technique, in which the outcome was class of XMIA 4 and XMIA 5 with total 64 students. The instrument of this research was a diagnostic test consist of 12 multiple choice questions with open reasoning. Based on the data analysis, the average percentage of student's misconception decreased from 86% to 30.5% after implemented Flipped Classroom model. The Two Proportion statistic test result with Zformula > Ztable (4.00 > 1.96) this result showed there was a significant difference between the two class. It showed that Flipped Classroom be able to decreased student?s misconception. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian pre-experimental ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fluida statis di SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1  yang dipilih dengan teknik intact group random sampling. Tes diagnostik yang terdiri dari 18 soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui konsepsi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil, jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi saat pretest (100%) dan posttest (20,51%) yaitu pada konsep gaya apung. Rata-rata penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tiap konsep adalah 82,56%. Konsepsi siswa berubah secara signifikan (  51,16;  1;  0,05) sesudah diberikan pembelajaran remediasi. Siswa memperoleh rata-rata gain  0,82 (tergolong tinggi). Strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi yang siswa alami. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, remediasi, strategi 3-2-1, refutation text, fluida statis Abstract: This pre-experimental research was aimed to investigate the use of 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text to reduce students? misconceptions on subtopic static fluid in SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sample of this research was students from XI IPA 1 class  who choosen by intact group random sampling technique. Diagnostic test which consist of 18 multiple choice question with open reasoning was used as research instrument to asses students conceptions. Based on the results, the highest students? misconceptions in pretest (100%) and posttest (20,51%) was that the concept of buoyant force.  The average decrease of misconceptions for each concepts were 82,56%. Students? conceptions had changed statistically significant  after the instruction. Students achieved average normalized gain  0,82 (relatively high). The 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to overcome the misconceptions that experienced by students. Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study was to increase the interest and learning outcomes of students in heat material using monopoly game learning media. This research was conducted in class VII E SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak, this was done based on the results of research that showed the average learning outcomes of students in the heat material is quite low, which is 42. One of the causes is the student’s low interest in learning physics material. Therefore this study used monopoly game learning media so that it would create fun atmosphere in learning, thus the student’s learning interest will begin to grow in harmony with the learning outcomes of students. The participants' interest in learning was carried out using questionnaires, while the learning outcomes of students were conducted using questions test such as multiple choice. The results showed that the student’s  learning interest increased by 10.19%, while the student’s learning outcomes also experienced an increase in this, indicated by the results of the t test, where tcount> t table (10.48> 1.708). Monopoly game learning media could increase student’s interest and learning outcomes, it is expected to be one of the alternative teaching media that help increase students' interest and learning outcomes.  Keywords: Interests, Learning Media, Monopoly, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB) menggunakan model generatif dalam menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sekayam. Bentuk penelitian berupa Pre-Eksperimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Test Post-Test yang melibatkan 39 siswa kelas X F sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara intact group random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan memberikan tes diagnostik berupa soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka sebanyak 12 soal. Berdasarkan analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 50,39%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remediasi yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran GLBB menggunakan model generatif efektif untuk menurunkan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dengan effect size Cohen’s sebesar 2,0 (kategori tinggi). Dengan  demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan guru sebagai alternatif untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi siswa dalam memahami konsep GLBB. Kata Kunci : Integrasi Remediasi, Model generatif, Gerak lurus berubah beraturan Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of remediation that is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models to reduce the number of students who have misconceptions in grade X SMAN 1 Sekayam. The form of research of this study is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pre-Test Post-Test design involving 39 students of class X F as a sample which is selected by intact group random sampling. Data obtained by providing diagnostic tests in the form of multiple choice questions with open reason as many as 12 questions. Based on data analysis to the whole concept, there is a declining in the number of students who have misconceptions with the average decrease of 50,39 % and the effectiveness of remediation integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is included in high category with Cohen's effect size of 2,0. The results of this study indicate that remediation which is integrated in the learning of uniformly accelerated motion using generative models is effective for lowering the number of students who have misconceptions. Thus, this study is expected to be used by teachers as an alternative to fix up the students’ misconceptions in understanding the concept of uniformly accelerated motion. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to produce multiple choice diagnostic tests that are used to detect misconceptions of students on the chapter of work in high school. This study used research & development (R & D) method which consists of seven steps, (1) research and information gathering, carried out by looking at previous studies on the chapter of work (2) planning, including determining the tests, compiling test lines, choose the form of the test, and determine the length of the test (3) develop a preliminary form of the product, in the form of test preparation (4) preliminary field trials, involving 15 students (5) revisions based on the results of preliminary field trials, (6) main field tests, involving 72 students from SMAN 3 Pontianak and Santun Untan High School Pontianak (7) revised based on the main field test. The results of the data analysis showed that the diagnostic test was developed based on the initial conception of students in the chapter of work of several previous studies, test validity of 0.70, test reliability of 0.70, test readability index of 6.44, and the difficulty level of 0. 44. Based on the results of the analysis, as many as 16 diagnostic test questions met the characteristics of the test namely the test was developed based on the initial conception of students, high validity, high reliability, readability index in accordance with the level of education of students, and the low difficulty level. Keywords: Development, Diagnostic Test, Work

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving students’ critical thinking skills in straight motion in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The research method used was an experimental research method in the form of pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design model. The sampling technique used in this study was intact group technique and obtained class VIII A with a total of 35 students. The ability of critical thinking was seen from the explanation aspect in this research. The instrument of this research have5 description test. Based on the results of Wilcoxon test obtained a significant increase in critical thinking abilities with asymp.sig (2-tailed) below 0,05 (0,000<0,05). Abstract

Penyuluhan keselamatan radiasi merupakan langkah penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran mengenai bahaya paparan radiasi serta upaya pencegahannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada radiografer, pasien, pengantar pasien, perawat pengantar, dan mahasiswa Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) terkait prinsip keselamatan radiasi, yaitu justifikasi, limitasi, dan optimasi, serta penerapan proteksi berbasis jarak, waktu, dan perisai. Penyuluhan dilakukan di Instalasi Radiologi Rumah Sakit Pusat Pertamina (RSPP) dengan total 23 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pre-test, penyampaian materi melalui presentasi dan media visual (poster, pamflet), diskusi interaktif, serta post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata nilai peserta meningkat dari 61,30 pada pre-test menjadi 85,65 pada post-test, dengan seluruh peserta mencapai nilai di atas 70. Tingkat kehadiran dan partisipasi mencapai 100%. Namun, durasi pelatihan yang singkat dan minimnya praktik menjadi keterbatasan utama. Disarankan pelatihan lanjutan dengan simulasi berbasis praktik dan evaluasi jangka panjang untuk memastikan dampak berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan efektivitas penyuluhan interaktif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keselamatan radiasi.
