Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah perkembangan kemampuan koneksi matematis dan komunikasi matematis siswa, ditinjau berdasarkan pendekatan pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan rancangan kuasi eksperimen dengan disain eksperimen perbandingan kelompok statik. Kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan reciprocal teaching, sedangkan kelompok kontrol pembelajarannya secara konvensional atau pembelajaran biasa.Penelitian ini melibatkan60 siswa kelas 3 SMA Negeri yang berada pada  kelompok atas berdasarkan peringkat sekolah. Analisis data dalam pengujian hipotesis digunakan uji statistik yang sesuai dengan menggnakan pengolan data SPSS  dengan terlebih dahulu menghitung normalitas data dan variansi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa: (1) siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan reciprocal teaching mempunyai kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis lebih baik bila dibandingkan siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional, baik ditinjau secara pendekatan pembelajaran maupun berdasarkan kemapuan awal matematis (KAM) siswa  (2) terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara pembelajaran (reciprocal teaching, konvensional) terhadap kemampuan  koneksi dan komunikasi matematis siswa; (3) terdapat assosiasi antara  kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematis. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the using of mind maps as an instrument for evaluating the learning outcomes of VII grade students about heat concept and its displacement in SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the type of this research. The subjects of this research were VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. 32 students of VII B as the samples. The data collected in this study are students' ability in making mind maps, student learning outcomes that evaluated by mind maps, and the implementation of learning assignments to make mind maps. The results showed that mind maps can be used as instruments for assessing student learning outcomes. Students? ability in making mind maps of the first cycle were 78% excellent category and 22% (enough categories), while the second cycle were 93% (good category) and 7% (enough categories). Students? learning outcomes in the first cycle were 78% complete and 22% were incomplete. 87.5% of students in the cycle II were complete and 12.5% were incomplete. The implementation of instructional learning makes mind maps of the first cycle of 81% and the second cycle of 100%. Based on the results of this study, mind map assignment are expected as an instrument for assessing student learning outcomes. Keywords: Assignments, Heat and Diplacement, Instrument Assessment, Mind Map

Abstract

AbstractThe research purpose to improve student learning activities and outcomes through learning models make a match on the heat leasson. This rearch method applied Arikunto cycle classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this research is class VIID public junior high school 11 of Pontianak. Data collection includes (1) observation sheets to observe learning activities, (2) Preliminary test and final test. Student learning activities that are intended to ask, answer, refute and cooperative while the teacher activity application of the make a match learning model. Data obtained indicated an increase student learning activities that are in the category of very active and active ftrom cycle I to cycle II of 1,58% from 76.47% to 90,05%. The results of data analysis show learning outcomesof student who reach the KKM has incteast. The increase learning outcomes in the first cycle was 64,8% while the increase in learning outcomes in the second cycle was 61,8% The results of this study indicate make a match learning model can increase activity and the results increase so other rearcheers can also apply this learning model with motes on studying and understanding the rules of CAR and the steps of learning to make a match.Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Head, Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes, Make a Match,

Abstract

AbstractThe objectives of this research are to find out the errors and the sources of errors. The research was conducted at Senior High School 2 Pontianak with 33 students as the subject. The data collected through essay and interview.  Essay was taken to find out the errors, while interview was conducted to find out the sources of errors. Technique analysis of miles and Huberman was used on the data. The result shows that students’ errors were divided into 4 errors based on Polya’s problem-solving stages. (1) Errors in understanding the problem is 29.7%. Errors was happened due to the lack of conscientious and lack of practices to write down what students know and what students should ask. (2) Errors in planning the solution is 38.8%. The source of errors were due to students’ less experienced in formulating equation and its steps. (3) Difficulties in executing the plan is 55.14%. The source of this errors was the student unable to finish the test based on the plan, thus the student were not able to reach the conclusion. (4) Difficulties in recheck or double check is 49.7%. The sources of errors were miscalculation that caused the students to lost track of the test and made the recheck harder. Keywords : Analyzed of Mistake, Problem Solving based on Polya, Energy and Heat Movement

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research to improved physics result learning on the subject of besiness to the Tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Anjongan was used to Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) model. From of this research was pre-experimental in the from one-group pretest-post test design. This technique was used simple random sampling which consist 30 students. The technique of data collection were observation technique and measurement by measuring tools in from of the result of leaning test. The result of Wilcoxon test showed there was an increase in students learning result with  was obtained Sig p of . It showed that the treatment CTL was effective to improved students learning result. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to study the use of Discovery Learning Model to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle subject in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak academic year 2019/2020. The method used in this research was Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Logical reasoning mutiple choice questions were used as for data collection tool. Along with it, this research involved 25 students in Class IX C as the samples. They were chosen with “intact group” technique, a sampling method which intactly gains sample data according to population. Students’ profile of misconception after being given remedy happened to decrease into 3 concepts. Out of 25 students that took the remedy, the percentage of students’ with misconception in all indicators decreased by 67%. The result of calculation with McNemar Test shows 25,29 of X2 counted in all indicators then X2counted > X2 table so there is a significant conceptual changes in all the indicators. Therefore, hopefully teachers could use this research as an alternative to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle material.  Keywords : Discovery Learning,  Misconception,  Remediation

Abstract

AbstractThe aimed of this research was to determine the implementation of Problem Based Learning model based on student learning outcomes in expansion material substance in class X  SMA Negeri 1 Noyan. This research used quasi experiment research was with  one group pretest-posttest design. Sampling was done by intact group sampling technique. The number of samples is 23 student consisting of class XA. The instrument used was an essay test. From the data analysis obtained an average score of student learning outcomes before being given treatment amounted to 18.6 while the average score of student learning outcomes after being given treatment amounted 32. The research showed that from the paired sample of T-test with a significant level of 5%  showed that Ha is accepted. From the calculator effect size obtained by 1.62 with criteria classified as high meaning concluded that the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords:       Learning Outcomes, PBM Model, Substance Expansion

Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berstruktur Metakognisi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan bentuk desain dengan Kelompok Kontrol Tak-Setara. Kelas eksperimen diterapkan model PBL berstruktur metakognisi dan untuk kelas kontrol diterapkan model PBL saja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahawa (1) Kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas sebelum diberi perlakuan adalah sama, (2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas setelah diberi perlakuan,  (3) Peningkatan kemampuan problem solving pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 2,97 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,10. (4) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 3,58 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,93. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Metakognisi, Kemampuan Problem Solving, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis   Abstract: This research aimed at improving students ' mathematical reasoning ability through Problem Based Learning (PBL) Structured Metacognition. This form of research is quasi experimental research with form design with an equivalent control group. Classroom experiments applied Metacognition and structured model of PBL for the control class is applied to a model of PBL course. Based on the findings of this research, the researcher found that (1) The ability of mathematical reasoning of the university student from two different clases were equaly before the implematation of the action. (2) After the implemantation of the action the researcher found different ability of mathematical reasoning in both classses. (3) The students ability of mathematical problem solving improved as well in experimental class. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh remediasi menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PDEODE terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental dengan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes berbentuk esai yang terdiri dari 6 soal yang mewakili tiga proses kognitif Bloom yang telah direvisi kepada 29 siswa SMA kelas X. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata persentase peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa untuk tiap proses yaitu membandingkan sebesar 24.14%, merangkum sebesar 6.89%, dan mengklasifikasikan sebesar 45.68%. selanjutnya, dengan taraf signifikansi (?) sebesar 5% diperoleh p = 0,000 dan Z = -4,729, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran PDEODE berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. Adapun nilai efektifitas dari penelitian ini adalah 2.3 yang dihitung menggunakan Cohen?s Efffect size.   Kata kunci : Remediasi, Pemahaman Konsep, Strategi PDEODE Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effect of remediation using PDEODE learning strategies to increase concept understanding of student on heat and temperature. This research used Pre-Experimental methode One-group pretest-posttest design. Data collecting was done by giving the test in the form of essay comprised 6 questions by representing three Bloom?s revisied cognitive process on understanding level. The test was administered to 29 grade 10th students. The result shows that the average percentage of increasing the student's concept understanding in each process are 24.14% for comparing, 6.89% for summarizing, and 45.68% for classifying. Furthermore, with a significance level (?) of 5% obtained p = 0.000 and Z = -4.729, this shows PDEODE learning strategy can affect to increase of student's understanding of concept and the effect size of this study is 2.3. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi fluida dinamis setelah diberikan remediasi menggunakan multimedia interaktif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan tipe one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 29 siswa yang dipilih secara intact group. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan perubahan persentase jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dari 39% menjadi 8% dengan rata-rata persentase penurunan sebesar 31%. Selain itu, diperoleh juga perubahan persentase jumlah miskonsepsi siswa sebesar dari 40% menjadi 7% dengan rata-rata persentase penurunan sebesar 33%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat mereduksi jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi serta jumlah miskonsepsi siswa. Maka multimedia interaktif dapat menjadi alternatif pada pembelajaran fisika untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, miskonsepsi, multimedia interaktif. Abstract: This research was aimed to investigate the reduction of amount of students who experienced the misconception on fluid dinamic learning material after they have been treated by using multimedia interactive in remediation activity. Pre-experimental design was conducted with one group pre-test post-test design. This study enganged twenty nine students who were choosen by intact group. The result of data analysis showed that the percentage of amount of students who experienced the misconception was changed from 39% to 8% within the average percentage of reduction 31%. Besides, the percentage of amount of student’s misconception was changed from 40% to 7% within the average percentage of reduction 33%. The data showed that the use of multimedia interactive can reduce the amount of students who experienced the misconception and the amount of student’s misconception. Multimedia interactive can be used as alternative way of remediation activity in physics learning. Keywords: Remediation, Misconception, Multimedia Interactive
