Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of the "One Month One Hadits" program at Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sepanjang Elementary Schools, Sidoarjo. The program aims to build students' Islamic character by introducing and studying one Hadits of the Prophet Muhammad every month.SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sepajang designed this program as an effort to strengthen the foundation of children's character, integrating Islamic values in daily activities. Qualitative research methods were used, with primary data from interviews and secondary data from documents. The implementation of the program involves the recitation of Hadits every morning and afternoon, followed by guidance for students to apply it in their daily lives. The program is in line with Muhammadiyah's vision of education, emphasizing character building, Muslim personality, and resilient Muhammadiyah cadres. Students not only memorize the Hadits, but also integrate it in their daily positive behavior. Challenges in implementation involve the resistance of some teachers, which requires better understanding and commitment. The school overcame this by holding regular studies to deepen the program materials, create a common understanding and support the integration of religious values in the school culture. Overall, "One Month One Haditst" at SD Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Sepanjang is not just a learning routine, but a call to translate religious values into real action. This program not only stimulates intellectual growth, but also forms obedient, responsible and ethical individuals in society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Talaqqi method in the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School, as well as to evaluate its impact on memorization proficiency. The education of Tahfidzul Qur’an within Islamic boarding schools encounters numerous challenges, particularly regarding the adoption of effective teaching methodologies and the integration of technology to enhance students' memorization capabilities. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research focuses on the application of the Talaqqi method at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School. This methodological framework allows for a comprehensive exploration of the learning processes and the dynamics of interaction between educators and students. The findings of this study support the theory of active learning in the context of Qur'anic education, positioning the Talaqqi program as a highly effective strategy for Qur'anic memorization. This method transcends being a mere instructional technique; it embodies a pedagogical process that emphasizes the importance of quality interactions between educators and students, which are often vital for achieving successful outcomes in memorization. Moreover, this research not only reinforces the theory of active learning but also highlights practical applications pertinent to Qur'anic education, addressing the contemporary challenges and needs faced by students. It provides valuable insights for educators on effective strategies, advocating for the use of technology as a complementary tool while underscoring the critical role of personal interaction intrinsic to the Talaqqi method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran orang tua buruh tani dalam pembentukan moral sosial anak usia remaja di Desa Blado Wetan. Orang tua memiliki tanggung jawab penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral anak-anak, termasuk anak-anak dari keluarga buruh tani yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan ekonomi dan sosial. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian difokuskan pada bagaimana orang tua buruh tani, meskipun memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal waktu dan sumber daya, tetap memainkan peran signifikan dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai sosial seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan gotong royong kepada anak-anaknya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam kepada orang tua buruh tani dan anak-anak remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun orang tua buruh tani sering kali sibuk dengan pekerjaan di ladang, namun tetap berusaha memberikan teladan moral yang baik, baik melalui komunikasi langsung maupun melalui keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan sosial di desa. Namun, terdapat tantangan berupa keterbatasan waktu interaksi dan pengaruh lingkungan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan moral sosial anak-anak remaja. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dukungan komunitas dan peran aktif orang tua sangat krusial dalam menjaga nilai-nilai moral sosial pada anak-anak remaja di lingkungan yang penuh dengan tantangan

Abstract

Institutional evaluation in Islamic education has an important role in improving the quality of education. Evaluation not only focuses on learning outcomes, but also analyzes various aspects of the education system, including curriculum, teaching methods, and institutional management. So it aims to integrate Islamic values in educational evaluation using the Context, Input, Process, Product model. This approach is expected to create a holistic evaluation that is balanced between academic and spiritual dimensions, while contributing to the development of Islam-based education. This article uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach to collect and analyze information related to institutional evaluation. Data were obtained from various sources, such as books, research articles, and scientific journals relevant to institutional evaluation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's thematic data analysis technique. The main idea of the article Integration of Islamic values of context, input, process, product model in educational evaluation is to adapt the context, input, process, and product evaluation model by integrating Islamic values. This aims to create an educational evaluation system that is not only oriented towards academic aspects, but also builds Islamic character. This article offers a holistic evaluation framework that combines modern approaches with Islamic spiritual and moral principles to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the religious character of students at MTs Zahrotul Islam in Probolinggo City. The implementation of PAI education in this institution is not limited to academic or cognitive aspects but also encompasses a broader religious dimension. MTs Zahrotul Islam is committed not only to imparting religious knowledge but also to fostering individuals with strong moral and religious character. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with source triangulation, involving the principal, PAI teachers, and students for data validation. The data analysis technique follows Spradley’s model, utilizing a componential analysis approach to identify relevant domains and verify data accuracy. The findings indicate that the role of PAI teachers in shaping students’ religious character can be analyzed through an academic approach based on educational theory and empirical studies. PAI teachers serve not only as facilitators in transmitting religious knowledge but also as role models who significantly influence students' behavior, ethics, and social interactions. This study highlights the necessity of a systematic approach that integrates educational policies with innovative learning strategies, including extracurricular activities based on Islamic values. Thus, the role of PAI teachers in fostering students’ religious character at MTs Zahrotul Islam is not merely instructional but also transformative in shaping a generation with strong moral integrity and adherence to Islamic principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara alami dan sesuai dengan apa yang berada dilapangan tanpa adanya unsur manipulasi data dan fakta sewaktu melakukan penelitian dilapangan. Objek penelitian mencakup kepada kyai/pengasuh, Asatidz, pengurus, santri, Alumni dan pihak lain yang terlibat dalam Yayasan atau Pesantren. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di pondok pesantren Assulthon. Penelitian tentang peran kiyai dalam membangun karakter religius dan nasionalis santri memiliki manfaat yang signifikan bagi berbagai pihak: Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam pengembangan strategi pendidikan pesantren dan dalam memperkaya literatur akademik mengenai pendidikan karakter Subyek penelitian adalah orang yang bersangkutan dalam latar penelitian, yaitu orang yang dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi tentang kondisi dan situasi latar penelitian. Untuk menentukan subyek penelitian sebagai sumber informasi dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling atau penentuan informan ditentukan sendiri oleh peneliti dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Dengan pendekatan teori ini,dimana kyai diharapkan mampu menjalankan peranya dalam upaya membentuk karakter religius dan nasionalis terhadap santri yang tidak hanya taat beragama tetapi juga memiliki rasa cinta dan tanggung jawab terhadap negara. menjadikanya santri memiliki kepribadian yang religius dan nasionalis,dapat diperankan oleh kyai nya melalui sikap dan tindakan sehari-hari,mengajarkan agama secara konsisten serta mengimplementasikan nilai nilai kebangsaan denga  menceritakan sejarah bangsa dan jasa para pahlawan  dan memperkuat akan persatuan  antar suku dan umat beragama lainya.serta kyai dapat memotivasi santri untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan sosial dan pengabdian masyarakat,dan memberikan pemahaman akan kaya seni dan budaya lokal dan nasional serta semua hal hal yang dapat memperkuat jiwa santri menjadi bangga akan identitas nya sebagai bagian dari anak bangsa

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen several aspects of religious character in children through the learning method of reading the Ummi Al-Qur'an. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis of a number of children who participated in learning to read the Qur'an with the Ummi method in private homes. In addition, data were also obtained from parents or guardians of students, teaching teachers, and related literature. The results showed that learning to read the Qur'an with the Ummi method in private homes has a positive influence on strengthening children's religious character in Probolinggo City. This approach not only emphasizes on fluent reading skills, but also on deep understanding and full application of Islamic teaching. This approach has proven effective in overcoming some of the obstacles that arise in the process of learning the Qur'an, such as difficulties in reciting fluently, lack of understanding of religious material, lack of motivation, and lack of knowledge about religious aspects. This research makes a positive contribution to the development of Qur'an learning methods that focus more on strengthening children's religious character in the family environment.

Abstract

This research explores the role of social media in the spread of religious moderation in the digital era, with a focus on the Indonesian context. Religious moderation is considered important for maintaining harmony and tolerance in a multicultural society and reducing radicalism and intolerance. Social media, as a broad communication platform, has great potential to spread moderate values and strengthen interfaith dialogue, especially among the younger generation. However, this research also identifies the challenges faced, such as the spread of hoaxes, conflict, and the commodification of religion. To overcome this challenge, proposed strategies include religious moderation education in schools, campaigns on social media, and increasing media literacy. Digital literacy is the key to making positive use of social media, and collaboration between government, educational institutions and society is essential to create a digital environment that supports religious moderation. While there are opportunities to increase awareness and tolerance, challenges from extremist content and misinformation remain, so collective efforts are needed to address these issues.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Qira'atul Qutub extracurricular program in the formation of students' religious character at SMPI Darul Ulum Probolinggo through book reading activities. Research methods include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results show that this program helps to classify classes and implement various support programs. The supporting factors include the role of educators, student motivation, and the school's vision and mission, while the inhibiting factors include educators' unpunctuality, lack of student motivation, and reduced lesson hours. The achievement of students' religious character includes reading and murojaah of the yellow book, obedience to time, polite behavior, and obedience to parents and educators. The implication is that this activity is important in developing the religious character of students at SMPI Darul Ulum Probolinggo, showing that religious character can be formed through Qira'atul Qutub by deepening religious understanding and shaping students' morals, discipline, and responsibility.
