Abstract

This research discusses the importance of integrating Islamic education in classroom management to shape student character and improve academic achievement. Although there are barriers such as a lack of teacher training and government support, recommended solutions include providing comprehensive training, integrating Islamic education with other sciences, emphasizing individual differences, providing specific instructional instructions, applying the lesson study approach and encouraging the integration of Islamic values in all aspects of education. The research method used was a literature study and qualitative data analysis to identify challenges and solutions in the integration of Islamic education in classroom management. The results show that the integration of Islamic education in classroom management is seen to improve student character, academic achievement and the overall learning experience. By focusing on holistic student character building, values such as sincerity, simplicity, independence, tolerance and care for the environment can be instilled. The role of teachers in instilling character values in students through their example and guidance is crucial. Evaluating students' characters and overcoming obstacles in the integration of Islamic education is also an important part of achieving the broader goals of education, particularly in shaping a young generation that has strong characters and good morals.

Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab adalah solusi yang dapat digunakan oleh semua tingkat pendidikan. Adanya pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara agar peserta didik dapat berani berbicara menggunakan bahasa Arab dengan baik dan benar. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada pembelajaran bahasa Asing adalah kurang tepatnya menggunakan pendekatan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga ada tidak mendapatkan informasi secara maksimal yang menyebabkan tidak berhasilan dalam suatu pembelajaran. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara adalah pendekatan kontekstual. Karena pendekatan kontekstual adalah metode belajar yang mengikut sertakan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dan pengajar sebagai fasilitator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif - deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara adalah pembelajaran yang efektif karena ilmu dapat diterima dengan baik oleh peserta didik, sehingga pemebelajaran dapat mencapai tujuan sesuai harapan

Abstract

The development of social media has transformed the way Islamic teachings are disseminated and represented, presenting both opportunities and challenges for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching. Diverse representations of Islam in the digital space have the potential to strengthen moderate understanding, but also give rise to radical content that can lead to misconceptions among students. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Islamic representation in social media and its implications for developing an PAI curriculum responsive to the digital era. The research was conducted using qualitative methods through a literature review and content analysis of various literature, social media content, and relevant documents. The results indicate that social media has a significant influence in shaping students' religious perceptions and opening up opportunities for creative da'wah (Islamic outreach), but it has also become a medium for the spread of intolerance and radicalism. Therefore, strengthening digital literacy, critical thinking skills, and the value of religious moderation is essential through an updated PAI curriculum. The integration of social media literacy materials into PAI can equip students to be more selective, tolerant, and adaptive in dealing with the flow of religious information in the digital era. This study emphasizes the strategic role of religious education in shaping a generation of Muslims who are both religious and and digitally literate.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Qiraati method in improving Qur’anic reading skills among students at TPQ Azzahra, Probolinggo Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the Qiraati method is implemented through a structured jilid-based system, encouraging reading without spelling and applying direct tashih to correct errors in makhraj and tajwid. Students showed positive responses and notable progress at each level. Key success factors include experienced instructors, complete instructional materials, and a supportive learning environment. Challenges include disparities in students’ initial abilities, limited practice at home, and inconsistent teaching approaches. Overall, the Qiraati method is effective in enhancing Qur’anic literacy, though improvements in study habits and classroom management are recommended to optimize outcomes.

Abstract

Dakwah plays a significant role in maintaining and strengthening social harmony in rural communities, particularly in Patokan Village, Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. In the context of village society, dakwah functions not only as a medium for conveying Islamic teachings but also as a means of social development and reinforcement of communal values. This study aims to analyze the role of dynamic dakwah in fostering social harmony within the community. The research employs a qualitative approach using a biographical study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi, village residents, students (santri), and other parties involved in dakwah activities, complemented by direct observation of the ongoing dakwah practices. The findings reveal that the dynamic dakwah implemented by Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi contributes significantly to the creation of a harmonious, peaceful, and tolerant social life. This contribution is reflected in a persuasive, inclusive, and culturally adaptive preaching approach, the strengthening of universal Islamic values, the development of community moral character, and active involvement in mitigating social conflicts. Therefore, contextual and community-based dynamic dakwah is proven to be effective in reinforcing social harmony in rural communities

Abstract

The role of the Islamic education teacher work group is very important in building the quality of teacher competence. The purpose of this research is to find out the work program of the Islamic Education Teacher Work Group (KKG) in building the quality of Islamic Education teacher competence, to know the strategies of the Islamic Education KKG in building the quality of teacher competence, and to know the contribution of KKG in building the quality of Islamic Education teacher competence in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods consist of observation and interviews with teachers who are members of the KKG. The informants are members of KKG in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. The existence of a Work Program organized by the Islamic Education KKG means the competence possessed by Islamic Education teachers in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. The results of this study indicate that the development of pedagogical competence of Islamic Education teachers in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency in terms of: 1) Mastering learning theory and principle, teachers develop various teaching techniques, motivate students with responsive and reciprocal stimulus. 2) Curriculum development, teachers are able to formulate, organize, design lesson planning programs, use media and learning models by using information and communication technology media. 3) In the development of educational activities, teachers have been able to pay attention to the level of needs, environment, opportunities, intellectuality, spirituality, psychology, and emotional aspects of students by applying skills.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic values in supporting work–life balance among employees at PT Tjiwulan Putra Mandiri, addressing a gap in the existing literature that has largely discussed religiosity in general terms without explaining how specific Islamic practices function as coping resources in high-pressure industrial environments. This qualitative study involved eight informants selected through purposive sampling, all of whom actively integrate Islamic values into their daily work routines. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that Islamic values contribute to work–life balance through several interconnected themes. Islamic spiritual attitudes such as ṣabr (patience), shukr (gratitude), and tawakkul (trust in God) help employees regulate their emotions and respond more adaptively to work-related stress. Daily worship practices provide psychological stability and support emotional regulation within demanding work contexts. In addition, shared religious values and organizational tolerance toward worship activities foster a sense of social support and collegial solidarity, which further enhances employees’ overall well-being. Overall, the study concludes that Islamic values function as integrated spiritual, emotional, and social resources that assist employees in maintaining balance between work demands and personal well-being. These findings offer a contextualized understanding of how Islamic spirituality operates in industrial settings and contribute to the development of workplace well-being strategies that acknowledge and respect employees’ religious identities.
