Abstract

Dakwah plays a significant role in maintaining and strengthening social harmony in rural communities, particularly in Patokan Village, Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. In the context of village society, dakwah functions not only as a medium for conveying Islamic teachings but also as a means of social development and reinforcement of communal values. This study aims to analyze the role of dynamic dakwah in fostering social harmony within the community. The research employs a qualitative approach using a biographical study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi, village residents, students (santri), and other parties involved in dakwah activities, complemented by direct observation of the ongoing dakwah practices. The findings reveal that the dynamic dakwah implemented by Kyai Haji Fathur Rozi contributes significantly to the creation of a harmonious, peaceful, and tolerant social life. This contribution is reflected in a persuasive, inclusive, and culturally adaptive preaching approach, the strengthening of universal Islamic values, the development of community moral character, and active involvement in mitigating social conflicts. Therefore, contextual and community-based dynamic dakwah is proven to be effective in reinforcing social harmony in rural communities

Abstract

The role of the Islamic education teacher work group is very important in building the quality of teacher competence. The purpose of this research is to find out the work program of the Islamic Education Teacher Work Group (KKG) in building the quality of Islamic Education teacher competence, to know the strategies of the Islamic Education KKG in building the quality of teacher competence, and to know the contribution of KKG in building the quality of Islamic Education teacher competence in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods consist of observation and interviews with teachers who are members of the KKG. The informants are members of KKG in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. The existence of a Work Program organized by the Islamic Education KKG means the competence possessed by Islamic Education teachers in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. The results of this study indicate that the development of pedagogical competence of Islamic Education teachers in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency in terms of: 1) Mastering learning theory and principle, teachers develop various teaching techniques, motivate students with responsive and reciprocal stimulus. 2) Curriculum development, teachers are able to formulate, organize, design lesson planning programs, use media and learning models by using information and communication technology media. 3) In the development of educational activities, teachers have been able to pay attention to the level of needs, environment, opportunities, intellectuality, spirituality, psychology, and emotional aspects of students by applying skills.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic values in supporting work–life balance among employees at PT Tjiwulan Putra Mandiri, addressing a gap in the existing literature that has largely discussed religiosity in general terms without explaining how specific Islamic practices function as coping resources in high-pressure industrial environments. This qualitative study involved eight informants selected through purposive sampling, all of whom actively integrate Islamic values into their daily work routines. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that Islamic values contribute to work–life balance through several interconnected themes. Islamic spiritual attitudes such as ṣabr (patience), shukr (gratitude), and tawakkul (trust in God) help employees regulate their emotions and respond more adaptively to work-related stress. Daily worship practices provide psychological stability and support emotional regulation within demanding work contexts. In addition, shared religious values and organizational tolerance toward worship activities foster a sense of social support and collegial solidarity, which further enhances employees’ overall well-being. Overall, the study concludes that Islamic values function as integrated spiritual, emotional, and social resources that assist employees in maintaining balance between work demands and personal well-being. These findings offer a contextualized understanding of how Islamic spirituality operates in industrial settings and contribute to the development of workplace well-being strategies that acknowledge and respect employees’ religious identities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Talaqqi method in the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School, as well as to evaluate its impact on memorization proficiency. The education of Tahfidzul Qur’an within Islamic boarding schools encounters numerous challenges, particularly regarding the adoption of effective teaching methodologies and the integration of technology to enhance students' memorization capabilities. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research focuses on the application of the Talaqqi method at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School. This methodological framework allows for a comprehensive exploration of the learning processes and the dynamics of interaction between educators and students. The findings of this study support the theory of active learning in the context of Qur'anic education, positioning the Talaqqi program as a highly effective strategy for Qur'anic memorization. This method transcends being a mere instructional technique; it embodies a pedagogical process that emphasizes the importance of quality interactions between educators and students, which are often vital for achieving successful outcomes in memorization. Moreover, this research not only reinforces the theory of active learning but also highlights practical applications pertinent to Qur'anic education, addressing the contemporary challenges and needs faced by students. It provides valuable insights for educators on effective strategies, advocating for the use of technology as a complementary tool while underscoring the critical role of personal interaction intrinsic to the Talaqqi method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi nilai-nilai akhlak mahmudah dalam kehidupan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Kampus Institut Ahmad Dahlan Probolinggo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi mahasiswa PAI, dosen, serta pihak pengelola kemahasiswaan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai akhlak mahmudah seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, kesabaran, dan kepedulian sosial telah diimplementasikan dalam aktivitas akademik dan sosial mahasiswa, meskipun belum sepenuhnya optimal. Temuan signifikan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya kesenjangan antara pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa tentang akhlak mahmudah dengan praktik nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan strategi internalisasi nilai. Faktor pendukung implementasi nilai akhlak mahmudah meliputi peran dosen sebagai teladan, budaya akademik kampus, serta kegiatan keagamaan. Adapun faktor penghambatnya antara lain pengaruh lingkungan luar kampus dan rendahnya kesadaran personal sebagian mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan program mentoring berbasis nilai, penguatan keteladanan civitas akademika, serta integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sebagai upaya menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di perguruan tinggi

Abstract

This study aims to examine instructional innovation in IslamicReligious Education (IRE) as a strategic approach to enhancing theoverall quality of education comprehensively. The study employeda library research approach using content analysis of variousscholarly sources, including academic books, peer-reviewedjournals, and relevant scientific articles. The conceptual frameworkwas developed based on the theories of constructivism, humanism,and active learning, all of which emphasize the active engagementof learners in the instructional process and the holistic developmentof cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The findingsreveal that the implementation of innovative instructional models,such as Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning(PBL), the integration of digital technologies, and ContextualTeaching and Learning (CTL), significantly enhances students’learning motivation, deepens the internalization of Islamic values,and fosters twenty-first-century competencies, including criticalthinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.However, several major challenges were identified, includinglimited educational infrastructure, inadequate teacher competencein utilizing digital technologies, and insufficient institutionalsupport. Therefore, the study recommends strengthening teachers’professional capacity through continuous training programs,providing adequate digital learning facilities, and enforcing policiesthat support sustainable educational innovation. In conclusion, thisstudy affirms that instructional innovation in Islamic ReligiousEducation constitutes a strategic pathway toward establishing aneducational system that is relevant, dynamic, and capable ofcultivating noble character and learner competencies in accordancewith contemporary societal demands.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara alami dan sesuai dengan apa yang berada dilapangan tanpa adanya unsur manipulasi data dan fakta sewaktu melakukan penelitian dilapangan. Objek penelitian mencakup kepada kyai/pengasuh, Asatidz, pengurus, santri, Alumni dan pihak lain yang terlibat dalam Yayasan atau Pesantren. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di pondok pesantren Assulthon. Penelitian tentang peran kiyai dalam membangun karakter religius dan nasionalis santri memiliki manfaat yang signifikan bagi berbagai pihak: Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang berarti dalam pengembangan strategi pendidikan pesantren dan dalam memperkaya literatur akademik mengenai pendidikan karakter Subyek penelitian adalah orang yang bersangkutan dalam latar penelitian, yaitu orang yang dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi tentang kondisi dan situasi latar penelitian. Untuk menentukan subyek penelitian sebagai sumber informasi dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling atau penentuan informan ditentukan sendiri oleh peneliti dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Dengan pendekatan teori ini,dimana kyai diharapkan mampu menjalankan peranya dalam upaya membentuk karakter religius dan nasionalis terhadap santri yang tidak hanya taat beragama tetapi juga memiliki rasa cinta dan tanggung jawab terhadap negara. menjadikanya santri memiliki kepribadian yang religius dan nasionalis,dapat diperankan oleh kyai nya melalui sikap dan tindakan sehari-hari,mengajarkan agama secara konsisten serta mengimplementasikan nilai nilai kebangsaan denga  menceritakan sejarah bangsa dan jasa para pahlawan  dan memperkuat akan persatuan  antar suku dan umat beragama lainya.serta kyai dapat memotivasi santri untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan sosial dan pengabdian masyarakat,dan memberikan pemahaman akan kaya seni dan budaya lokal dan nasional serta semua hal hal yang dapat memperkuat jiwa santri menjadi bangga akan identitas nya sebagai bagian dari anak bangsa
