Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan prokrastinasi akademik dengan Mengerjakan Skripsi pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi stambuk 2019 di Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian kurang dari 100 sehingga peneliti menjadikan semua jumlah populasi menjadi sampel  yakni 30 orang mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji multikolinearitas sedangkan metode analisis data yaitu uji koefisien korelasi, analisis regresi linear berganda, uji korelasi secara parsial (t), uji simultan (f) dan uji kOfisien determinasi (r). Hasil penelitian ini berhubungan signifikan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil persamaan regresi linear berganda Y = 21,574 + 0,28X1 + 0,39X2 dengan penjelasan jika variabel motivasi belajar dan variabel prokrastinasi akademik diperoleh adalah 21,574 sehingga motivasi belajar dan prokrastinasi akademik berhubungan dengan mengerjakan skripsi. Kemudian sesuai dengan hasil uji simultan (Uji f)  diperoleh f hitung sebesar 40,571 dengan nilai signifikan 0,000. Nilai f tabel pada derajat kebebasan (dk) = n-k=27 maka nila f tabel 3,35  dan nilai signifikan (0,000 0,05) yang dapat dikatakan regresi linear tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan prokrastinasi akademik saling berhubungan secar bersama – sama dengan mengerjakan skripsi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 18 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Normalitas, uji Homogenitas, Analisis regresi linear sederhana, uji keberartian regresi, uji keberartian koefisien regresi (Uji F). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Terlihat pada nilai Fhitung Ftabel (6,236 3,99). Dan terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar dengan persamaan regresi Y = 70,182 + 0,136X

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of parents in enhancing students’ learning motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Sianjur Mula Mula. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consisted of 9 students as key informants, along with 6 parents and 3 teachers as supporting informants. The findings reveal that parents play a significant role in supporting students’ motivation to learn, both as motivators who provide encouragement, advice, and small rewards; as facilitators who provide learning resources and facilities; as supervisors and mentors who arrange study schedules, limit distractions, and communicate with teachers; and as role models who instill discipline, hard work, honesty, and responsibility. In addition, parents create a comfortable home learning environment. The study concludes that consistent parental involvement has a strong impact on improving students’ enthusiasm, self-confidence, and academic achievement.

Abstract

The low motivation and unsatisfactory learning outcomes of students in economics subjects have encouraged the need for innovative teaching approaches that integrate technology into the classroom. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Kahoot!, a game-based learning platform, on students' learning motivation and academic achievement in economics at SMA Swasta Bandung Percut Sei Tuan in the 2024/2025 academic year. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using a non-equivalent control group was employed, involving 59 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and classroom observations, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results demonstrated that the use of Kahoot! had a significant positive impact on both motivation and learning outcomes. Students in the experimental class showed substantial improvement, with their average score increasing from 53.33 on the pretest to 82.67 on the posttest, while the control class only improved from 42.76 to 55.07. Moreover, motivation levels in the experimental group increased considerably, as evidenced by higher enthusiasm, stronger engagement, and more active participation during learning activities. These findings suggest that Kahoot! is not only effective in enhancing cognitive achievement but also fosters affective aspects of learning by creating a dynamic, enjoyable, and competitive learning environment. The integration of such interactive digital media can be considered an important strategy for teachers to improve the quality of instruction, particularly in economics subjects that often appear abstract and less engaging for students. Therefore, Kahoot! holds great potential to serve as a complementary tool in modern pedagogy, supporting both immediate academic success and long-term motivation in learning
