Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual teaching and learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Gajah Mada Medan pada mata pelajaran IPS tahun ajaran 2021/2022.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Swasta Gajah Mada Medan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 42 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang telah dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu tes hasil belajar siswa, dokumentasi dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, dari data hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II, pada siklus I diperoleh kategori sangat tinggi tidak ada (0%), kategori tinggi 12 orang (28,57%), kategori cukup 24 orang (57,14%), dan siswa yang aktivitas belajarnya rendah ada 6 orang (14,28%). Sedangkan pada siklus II di peroleh kategori aktivitas belajar siswa sangat tinggi ada 2 orang atau (4,76%), kategori tinggi 36 orang (85,17%), kategori cukup 4 orang atau (9,52%) dan aktivitas belajar siswa rendah tidak ada (0%). Selanjutnya adalah dari data nilai hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I di peroleh 22 orang atau (52,38%) yang tuntas dengan mencapai nilai rata-rata 69,17% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 36 orang atau (85,71%) yang tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 80,71%.Dapat dismpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kontekstual teaching and learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Gajah Mada Medan Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the role of pkm uhn medan students in creating clean villages and smart communities in Banjaran Raya village, Langkat Regency. The type of approach used is qualitative through descriptive methods. This method is used to directly describe the factual conditions that occur in the field. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of data analysis show that maintaining environmental cleanliness can be applied by the community. This can be proven from the community's activeness in carrying out mutual assistance to maintain the cleanliness of the village environment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and self-control on the impulsive buying behavior of Economic Education students at HKBP Nommensen University Medan with a population of 64 Economic Education students in 2020 and 2021. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The sampling technique used in this study was the total sampling method. The results of the study showed that economic literacy (X1) partially did not have a negative and significant effect on impulsive buying behavior (Y) with a t count value <t table (-0.125 <1.670). At the same time, the self-control variable (X2) has a partial effect on impulsive buying behavior (Y) with a t count value > t table, namely (5.976 > 1.670). The results of simultaneous testing (F test) showed that there was an influence between economic literacy (X1) and self-control (X2) on impulsive buying behavior (Y). This can be seen from the F count value > F table (30.174 > 2.76). It can be concluded that economic literacy and self-control have an impact on the tendency of impulsive buying behavior. In other words, if the level of understanding of economic literacy and self-control possessed by students increases, it tends to reduce impulsive buying behavior

Abstract

Pelatihan Canva ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang bagaimana hasil pada pengembangan kreativitas dan inovasi pada pelatihan Canva di kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Binjai Canva adalah platform desain grafis berbasis online yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk membuat berbagai jenis materi visual, seperti poster, presentasi, infografis, dan lainnya. Yang bertujuan untuk menawarkan peserta didik untuk mengembangkan karya dan inovasi dalam desain grafis, dan mempermudah peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolahnya. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode survei dengan memberikan sejumlah pertanyaan kepada peserta didik setelah melakukan pengajaran pelatihan Canva di kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Binjai untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pelatihan Canva dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa pada desain melalui aplikasi Canva. Dengan teknik pengambilan kesimpulan melalui rata-rata jawaban siswa kelas X SMAN 4 Binjai pada survei keberhasilan pelatihan Canva, hasil pelatihan ini memberikan tingkat keberhasilan Canva dalam pengembangan kreativitas dan inovasi peserta didik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in Social Studies at SMP Swasta Parulian 2 Medan. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: class VIII-2 as the experimental group and class VIII-1 as the control group, totaling 50 students. Instruments used included pretest and posttest questions, observation sheets, and lesson plans (RPP). The results showed that the average posttest scores of students in the experimental class were significantly higher than those in the control class. The hypothesis test using a t-test revealed that the t-value (7.590) exceeded the critical value (1.667), with a significance level (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. This model proved effective in enhancing student engagement, critical thinking skills, and overall academic performance. Hence, the Snowball Throwing model is recommended as an active learning alternative to improve learning achievements in secondary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) To describe the use of audio-visual media in social studies learning for grade IX students at SMP Swasta Talitakum Medan. 2) To describe the perceptions of grade IX students towards the use of audio-visual media in social studies learning at SMP Swasta Talitakum Medan. This research is a qualitative study. The research was conducted at SMP Swasta Talitakum Medan. on July 30 to August 2, 2024. The subjects of this study were the Principal, Grade X Teachers, and Grade X Students. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Activities in qualitative data analysis using an interactive model, namely data collection (collection), data reduction (reduction), data presentation (display), and drawing conclusions (conclusion drawing). This study aims to see students' perceptions of the application of audiovisual learning media in social studies learning subjects. This research is a descriptive qualitative study where this study will analyze the opinions of 17 students and 5 teachers who were used as samples. In this study, interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data on the perception of the results of the study were students towards the use of audio-visual media. Examining the data descriptive method was used. students' perceptions of the application of audio-visual learning media make it easier for students to understand the concepts of social studies learning are at a good level where students agree that the application of audio-visual learning media makes it easier for students to understand mathematical concepts. In addition, students also stated that the use of audio-visual learning media can make learning more interesting, and stated that the use of audio-visual learning media can provide a clearer picture of mathematics learning materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Medan. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan dengan metode random sampling dengan responden sebanyak 65 siswa. Data berupa respon subjek diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen penelitian yang berisi pernyataan-pernyataan dan diukur dengan Skala Likert, serta teknik dokumentasi. Uji persyaratan penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Teknik analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t (uji hipotesis parsial) dan uji f (uji hipotesis simultan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model project based learning (X) secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar (Y) dengan nilai thitung < ttabel (11,782 < 1,669). Hasil pengujian simultan (uji F) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (X) terhadap minat belajar (Y). Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (138,807 > 2,75).
