Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) to help the people of Bagan Batu Regency in choosing the best fitness center. The increasing awareness of a healthy lifestyle has triggered the development of the fitness industry, but the many choices often make it difficult for people to determine the right choice. The Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method is used in this study because of its ability to evaluate various alternatives based on benefit and cost criteria. Five criteria are considered, namely sports facilities, instructor quality, operating hours, membership fees, and location. Data were collected from several fitness centers in Bagan Batu and processed through a normalization and weighting process. Based on the results of data processing using this method, recommendations for the best fitness centers were obtained, namely FC_04, FC_08, and FC_07. The results of this study indicate that the COPRAS method can simplify and accelerate the provision of recommendations for selecting the best fitness location in Bagan Batu Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment) method to assist Labuhan Batu University in selecting the best students to participate in the student exchange program. Manual selection which is often subjective and prone to bias is a problem that needs to be overcome. The WASPAS method was chosen because of its ability to combine weighted addition and weighted multiplication, resulting in a more comprehensive and objective evaluation. This study includes the stages of problem identification, student data collection, determination of selection criteria, and data processing using the WASPAS method. The criteria used include English language skills, leadership, knowledge, GPA, and achievement. The results of data processing using the method obtained an alternative with the Highest Value, namely A7 with a final result of 122.86582. The results of the study showed that the application of the WASPAS method resulted in a more transparent and objective evaluation compared to the manual selection method. By using this system, it is hoped that the selection process for student exchange program participants will be more efficient and on target.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) based on the COPRAS method to help simplify the employee selection process at SPX Express, Rokan Hilir. The challenges faced in the selection process are subjectivity in assessment and non-integration of data, which results in less than optimal selection decisions. The COPRAS method is used to evaluate candidates based on predetermined criteria, such as Personality Tests, Health Tests, Knowledge Tests, Age, and Work Experience. This study involves the stages of determining the weight of the criteria, collecting data, and processing data using the COPRAS method to produce candidate rankings. The results showed that the candidates with the highest rankings were CP_02, CP_01, and CP_05. This DSS system can improve efficiency and objectivity in employee selection decision making.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) based on the Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Simple Ratio Analysis (MOOSRA) method in determining the optimal location of Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in Kubu District, Rokan Hilir, Riau. The main issue faced is the selection of SPBU locations involving various criteria such as accessibility, population density, level of competition, potential for economic growth, and supporting facilities. The MOOSRA method was chosen because of its ability to manage various criteria objectively and systematically. In this study, an analysis of several alternative SPBU locations and calculations using a normalized matrix were carried out to produce location rankings. The results showed that the best alternative location was A3 with the highest ranking, followed by A4 and A1. By implementing MOOSRA-based DSS, the process of selecting SPBU locations in Kubu District, Rokan Hilir, Riau becomes more efficient and objective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Sistem Informasi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (SIMSDM) di perusahaan multinasional dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kinerja sumber daya manusia. Dalam era digitalisasi, SIMSDM memainkan peran penting dalam mengotomatisasi tugas-tugas administrasi, mengelola data karyawan, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah campuran, yang melibatkan analisis kuantitatif melalui survei kepada karyawan, serta pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan manajer SDM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIMSDM secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi proses kerja, mempercepat akses informasi, dan meningkatkan kepuasan karyawan terhadap sistem yang digunakan. Namun, ditemukan pula beberapa tantangan seperti kurangnya pemanfaatan fitur-fitur canggih dan kebutuhan akan pelatihan lanjutan bagi pengguna. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi utama penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pelatihan pengguna dan mengembangkan fitur integrasi dengan sistem lain untuk memaksimalkan potensi SIMSDM dalam mendukung strategi bisnis perusahaan. Penelitian ini memberikan pandangan yang komprehensif tentang peran penting SIMSDM dalam manajemen SDM di lingkungan bisnis multinasional.

Abstract

Often, after the learning and teaching process is over, students will be tested with quizzes, midterm exams, and even end-of-semester exams, but these exams still take time after the teacher has taught several weeks or months that have passed; what if after teaching, for example, a math lesson, and students immediately understand or do not understand at all, and this can be detected using Machine Learning. The variable that can be raised is the value or quiz grade of a particular subject; for example, mathematics is one of the disliked subjects for most elementary school students, but how to find out that the student is able or unable to solve math problems and predict the end of semester grades for mathematics, this can be determined using Machine Learning, using the KNN Algorithm or K-MEANS method, or other methods that are deemed appropriate to the existing case study. In this case study, it is predicted whether a variable affects each other or affects other variables; this is done by doing or drawing relationships between variables. This research successfully concluded from the performance of machine learning in predicting students' understanding of math lessons after teaching and learning activities ended. The parameters that will be used for testing are population and sampling, and then data analysis, validity, and reliability tests are carried out.

Abstract

Setiap perusahaan atau organisasi yang ingin bertahan perlu menentukan strategi bisnis yang tepat. Data penjualan produk yang dilakukan oleh Lakoe Dessert Pondok Kacang pada akhirnya akan menghasilkan data yang menumpuk, sehingga sangat disayangkan jika tidak dianalisis kembali. Produk yang ditawarkan bervariasi dengan variasi produk sebanyak 45 produk, untuk mengetahui produk yang paling banyak penjualannya dan keterkaitan antara produk yang satu dengan produk yang lain diperlukan salah satu algoritma dalam algoritma data mining yaitu apriori algoritma untuk mengetahuinya, dan dengan bantuan aplikasi Rapidminer 5, dengan nilai dukungan 2,4% dan nilai kepercayaan 50%, produk yang sering dibeli atau diminati pelanggan dapat ditemukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data penjualan bulan Maret 2020 yang berjumlah 209 data transaksi. Dari penelitian tersebut, ditemukan item dengan nama Pudding Strawberry dan Pudding Vanilla merupakan produk yang paling banyak dibeli oleh konsumen. Dengan mengetahui produk yang paling banyak terjual dan pola pembelian barang yang dilakukan oleh konsumen, Lakoe Dessert Pondok Kacang dapat mengembangkan strategi pemasaran untuk memasarkan produk lain dengan menganalisis keuntungan dari penjualan produk yang paling banyak terjual dan mengantisipasi kehabisan atau kosongnya stok atau bahan pada suatu saat. tanggal kemudian

Abstract

Skin is the outermost organ of the body that covers the human body. The skin makes up 15% of the total body weight. On the outer surface of the skin there are pores (cavities) where sweat is released. The skin has many functions, including as body armor, as a sense of touch or communication tool, and as a temperature regulator. Most people, especially women, have white, healthy, clean and well- groomed facial skin. Cosmetics Distributor is a line of business that sells cosmetic products. In identifying the consumer's facial skin type, it is carried out by employees who are not experts. Often there is an error asking the type of skin and to hire a doctor or expert requires a large amount of money. The problems in using products that do not pay attention to skin type or do not know it, causing new problems such as acne, dry skin and others. These problems can be solved by the field of science in detecting a person's facial skin based on expert knowledge, then the science is an Expert System using Certainty factor. The results of this study can identify the type of facial skin based on the existing symptoms, it is hoped that it can help distributors and detect skin quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The Plantation Service is the implementing element of the Provincial Government, led by a Head of Service, located under and responsible to the Regional Head through the Regional Secretary. The Plantation Service has the task of carrying out the authority of the Provincial Government and the task of Deconcentration in the plantation sector. According to Government Regulation No. 48 of 2005 as amended by Government Regulation No. 56 of 2012, an honorary employee is someone who is appointed by a staffing officer in a government agency to carry out certain tasks. Planning for the needs of honorary workers is part of the activities of preparing a recruitment program to select and obtain qualified workers in an agency. However, in the recruitment process for honorary workers at the North Sumatra Plantation Service, too many applicants and application files as well as the lengthy selection stages make it difficult for an agency to find new honorary workers, as desired. Therefore, the role of a decision support system is needed in overcoming the problems faced today. Therefore, to determine prospective honorary workers, a decision support system is needed to facilitate work and avoid errors in calculating system data quickly and more accurately by using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method.
