Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of students in obeying the rules at Mts Ar-Ridho Tanjung Mulia school. The focus of the research is student discipline. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the key informants being 3 teachers and a sample of 77 students. This research was carried out at the Mts Ar-Ridho Tanjung Mulia school, Kampung Rakyat Labuhanbatu Selatan district. The instrument in this study was to collect data with the methods of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The study used techniques to analyze data, namely data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research Violations committed by students are given with sanctions that are imposed and listed in the school rules, Rules are important as a form of learning discipline because they are a guide for students to behave properly. It can be concluded that there are still some students of Mtr Ar-Ridho Tanjung Mulia Kampung Rakyat who do not obey the school rules and regulations.

Abstract

Dalam Penelitian ini penulis mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi Dekan FKIP Universitas Labuhanbatu atas dikeluarkannya kebijakan pemerintah oleh Menteri Pendidikan tentang kurikulum Outcomes Based Education (OBE) yang ditujukan untuk Perguruan Tinggi. Adapun tujuan dikeluarkannya kebijakan ini adalah untuk menjawab kebutuhan yang benar-benar diperlukan oleh masyarakat luas, sehingga klimaks dari kurikulum ini adalah materi yag disuguhkan kepada mahasiswa memang benar-benar yang diperlukan oleh masyarakat. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengapa kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan tidak bersamaan dengan pelatihan dan sosialisasi yang matang sehingga akan sulit dijalankan bagi Dekan guna menginstruksikan kepada Ketua Program Studi yang ada. Atas dasar inilah peneliti menjadikan Dekan sebagai subjek dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif dengan merujuk teori key informan sebagai pemberi informasi tunggal. Maka untuk menjawab permasalahan peneliti menggunakan sumber data berupa data primer yaitu dekan, dan data skunder berupa wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa perlunya pengiringan berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan baik secara langsung maupun secara daring, agar perguruan tinggi yang ada didaerah dapat segera mengimplementasikan atas kebijakan yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan Indoesia.

Abstract

Kommoditas unggulan yang selama ini belum dikelola dengan baik serta membangun sistem informasi desa guna meningkatkan prokonomian rakyat dalam sektor pemanfaatan sumber alam lidi kelapa sawit guna meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat yang sinerji dengan Pemerintah Desa. Selain itu kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan suatu bentuk penerapan dedikasi dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, sehingga hal ini merupakan suatu kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan oleh tenaga akademisi dengan bekerja sama Mahasiswa dalam Pemgabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Sektor pemanfaatan sumber alam lidi kelapa sawit dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat. Sedangkan kegian Pengabdian Masyarakat ini berada di Desa Sosopan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan.

Abstract

Perkembagnan teknologi serta penggunaan komputer berkembang sangat tinggi, ini merupapakan kemajuan Teknologi yang menjadikan segala kegiatan lebih mudah dan cepat pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada hari senin, tanggal 05 Juni 2023. kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan aplikasi photoshop untuk mengembangkan bakat seni disain grafis pada masyarakat generasi muda pada desa N-6 Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, Sumatera Utara. di desa N-6, Pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat khususnya pada kemampuan desain grafis photoshop guna meningkatkan kreatifitas. Masyarakat desa N-6 belum banyak pengetahuan tentang aplikasi photoshop, khususnya pengetahuan mengenai aplikasi atau perangkat lunak untuk mendesain gambar. Dalam berbagai kegiatan di desa N-6, tim pengabdian masyarakat mendapatkan banyak informasi mengenai masih tentang masyarakat yang belum memahami desain grafis menggunakan Photoshop. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan ini diadakan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan software pengolah grafis untuk kegiatan yang membutuhkan pengolahan grafis. Metode penerapan pada kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode pendampingan langsung di lapangan dalam bentuk praktek langsung pengoperasian Aplikasi Photoshop. Adapun sarana prasarana yang kami gunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan kami adalah ruangan aula. Adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan Desa N-6 yang wilayahnya terdalam bias menjadi lebih paham mengenai desain khususnya mampu membuat spanduk atau poster dan lainya.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of Government Regulation Number 19 of 2022 concerning assistance tasks in the Suka Dame Village Government, Silangkitang District in terms of collecting Land and Building Tax (PBB). The lack of progress at the regional level regarding the implementation of PP Number 19 of 2022 indicates that assistance tasks at the village level have not gone as expected. The assistance task is a mandate from the Central Government to the Regions to carry out according to what has been mandated in the law. The problem obtained in this research is whether the Suka Dame Village Government has implemented Government Regulation Number 19 of 2022 properly in terms of collecting Land and Building Tax. In order to find answers to the problem formulation, the researcher carried out a research method using a qualitative approach using research instruments of observation, interviews and documentation by appointing 4 key informants. The results of the research show that some people are less active in carrying out their obligations as citizens, out of a total population of 2923 people, 1806 people actively pay land and building tax. This gives an indication that the assistance tasks as stated in PP Number 19 of 2022 in Suka Dame Village have not gone well.Keywords: Implementation, Assistance Duties, Village Government, land and building taxes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of independent character education in Forming a Discussion Culture in Grade VII Students of Bhayangkari Rantau Prapat Middle School. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, focusing on an in-depth understanding of events and problems. Data were obtained from interviews with informants, observations and various document documentation data, while data analysis and triangulation were used to ensure the validity of the information collected. The results of this study indicate that independent character in Forming a Discussion Culture in Grade VII Students of Bhayangkari Rantau Prapat Middle School has a significant impact on the formation of a discussion culture in the classroom. Although there are several challenges in the implementation of independent character education, such as students' lack of self-confidence and dependence on teachers, the efforts made by the school have shown positive results. With the right strategies, such as giving assignments that encourage independence, providing positive feedback, and strengthening the role of peers, a productive discussion culture can be formed among students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of the principal as supervisor in strengthening the effectiveness of administrative services at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. The focus of this research covers five main aspects: (1) the role of the principal in supervising school administration, (2) the influence of the principal's supervision on the effectiveness of school financial management, (3) the role of the principal in supervising facilities and infrastructure, (4) development of information systems to increase service effectiveness, as well as (5) challenges faced in implementing supervision of school principals. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is obtained through interviews, observation and documentation analysis. The research results show that school principals play a crucial role in improving administrative effectiveness through strict and consistent supervision. Principal supervision has been proven to be able to increase transparency in financial management, ensure maintenance of facilities and infrastructure, and support the development of a more effective school information system. However, the implementation of supervision still faces various challenges, such as limited resources and resistance from staff. The implications of this research emphasize that principals need to develop better adaptive strategies and supervisory skills to overcome these challenges. In this way, the role of the principal as supervisor can continue to be improved, so that the effectiveness of administrative services at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu becomes more optimal and supports the achievement of overall educational goals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine: The influence of learning communication on understanding Pancasila material to strengthen the national insight of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. The population in this study were all Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. totaling 283 people. The number of samples taken was 74 students as respondents. This research uses an associative-quantitative approach with a simple linear regression model. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Research data was processed using SPSS 22.0. The results of the research show that: Learning Communication (X) partially has a positive and significant effect on the understanding of Pancasila material for strengthening the national insight of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu.  Based on the calculations, the linear regression coefficient value for the Learning Communication variable (X) is 0.379, with a positive sign at sig 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.001 < 0.05. So, it can be interpreted that Learning Communication (X) has a positive and significant effect on the understanding of Pancasila material for strengthening the national insight of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of literacy culture among class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu and its influence on the development of students' civic intelligence. The literacy culture in question includes reading, writing and discussion activities which aim to increase students' insight and skills in understanding social, political and civic issues. This research also identifies factors that support and hinder the implementation of literacy culture in schools, as well as their impact on the development of students' civic intelligence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Research subjects included class VII students, teachers, and related parties at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu. The data obtained was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify the main themes in the implementation of literacy culture and its relationship with the development of civic intelligence. The research results show that the implementation of literacy culture at SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Hulu has been implemented well, although there are several challenges, such as a lack of literacy facilities and limited time for literacy activities. Factors that support the implementation of a literacy culture include support from the school, availability of reading materials, and active participation of teachers in guiding students. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include students' lack of interest in reading and limited time for carrying out literacy activities. The literacy culture implemented has been proven to have a positive influence on the development of students' civic intelligence, which can be seen from students' increased understanding of their rights and obligations as citizens, as well as their involvement in discussions and social activities that support civic values.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh keterampilan guru PPKn menggunakan vidio pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada  materi hakikat demokrasi siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan An-Nasir Kecamatan Dolok Sigompulan Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen (kelas yang diberi perlakuan). Berdasarkan penyajian hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil belajar PPKn siswa kelas eksperimen pada pembelajaran materi hakikat demokrasi sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) adalah sebesar 65,45. Skor tertinggi yang dicapai siswa adalah 85,00 dan skor terendah 55,00. Dengan Distribusi Frekuensi dan Persentase Skor berada pada kategori “sangat rendah”. Hal ini berarti pada umumnya siswa yang menjadi unit penelitian skor pelajaran PPKn-nya tergolong sangat rendah. Setelah guru PPKn menggunakan vidio pembelajaran ditemukan data peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hakikat demokrasi siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan An-Nasir yaitu pada kelas eksperimen siswa yang tidak memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan individu adalah 1 orang atau 3,12%, sedangkan 31 orang atau 96,88% telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan belajar dari jumlah keseluruhan siswa. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol siswa yang tidak memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan individu adalah sebanyak 2 orang atau 6,25%, sedangkan 30 orang atau 93,75% telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan belajar dari jumlah keseluruhan siswa. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t juga juga diperoleh thitung>ttabel = 17,998 > 1,6698 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, ini berarti bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan keterampilan guru PKn menggunakan vidio pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar pada materi hakikat demokrasi siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Kejuruan An-Nasir.
