Abstract

Immunization is an effort to generate active immunity against a disease. The basic immunization coveraged in Mukapayung Village in 2021 is 67.4%, while the basic immunization achievement target set by the government is 98%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge and education with basic immunization receipts for infants 0-12 months in Mukapayung Village. The research method uses a descriptive correlation design, cross sectional approach with a total sample. Respondents amounted to 110 mothers who had babies aged 0-12 months. Data collection using a 20-item knowledge questionnaire. Validity and reliability test were carried out in Karang Tanjung Village on 30 respondents and the results were obtained validity from 0.411 to 0.566 with a reliability value of 0.917 which means very reliable. The results showed that there was no relationship between mother's level of knowledge and basic immunization reception for infants 0-12 months with p value 0.501> α but there was a significant relationship between mother's education level and basic immunization reception for infants 0-12 months with p value 0.011 < α. Discussion, the level of knowledge and education is not always in line with the behavior or actions related to basic immunization for infants 0-12 months, because many factors affect a person's knowledge. Conclusion, the higher the education of the mother, the more she understands the importance of maintaining children's health through prevention of various diseases by providing basic immunization. since early stage.

Abstract

Introduction; quizzes are needed to increase student motivation to learn and assess their understanding of the course material. Quizzes can take the form of conventional tests (paper-based tests) and can use information technology, for example, the "Kahoot!" Application. Objective; find out the differences in student satisfaction with the implementation of the Family Nursing quiz with conventional methods and the Kahoot quiz! Application. Method: This is a quasi-experimental study with a two-group posttest only design. The data analysis process used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Mann-Whitney test. Result; indicates the average score of satisfaction obtained at Kahoot! was 7.74 ± 1.873 and the mean in the conventional group was 7.44 ± 1.450. This shows the subject of Kahoot! has a higher satisfaction score than the conventional group subject, and obtained p-value = 0.295 which means there is no significant difference between student satisfaction scores in the Kahoot group! and conventional. Conclusion: There is no significant difference between student satisfaction scores in Kahoot! and convex.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas literasi kesehatan pada lansia. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Langkah – langkah dalam SLR yaitu seperti identifikasi, seleksi, evaluasi, dan sintesis literatur ilmiah yang ada secara sistematis. Protokol yang digunakan dalam SLR ini yaitu Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan database Scopus. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pencarian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan kajian literatur sistematis terdapat 1.965 artikel yang kemudian menjadi 16 artikel yang masuk pada proses akhir review. Hasil identifikasi data menyebutkan bahwa literatur sistematis yang sudah dipaparkan dapat dinilai bahwa literasi kesehatan pada orang dengan usia lanjut tetap efektif untuk meingkatkan kesehatannya. Diskusi: Peningkatan literasi kesehatan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang lebih luas bagi kualitas hidup lansia

Abstract

AbstrakPetani memegang peran sentral dalam ketahanan pangan dan pembangunan pedesaan, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam peningkatan kompetensi akibat keterbatasan pendidikan formal dan akses pelatihan. Pendekatan experiential learning (pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman), sebagaimana dikembangkan oleh Kolb, menawarkan kerangka yang relevan untuk membangun kapasitas petani melalui proses belajar yang bersumber dari pengalaman nyata. Kajian sistematis ini bertujuan menelaah praktik experiential learning dalam pendidikan petani berdasarkan literatur global terbitan 2015–2024, serta menilai implikasinya bagi pengembangan pendidikan petani di Indonesia. Metode mengikuti pedoman PRISMA dengan pencarian di database Scopus, menghasilkan 141 artikel, dan diseleksi hingga tersisa 4 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa experiential learning diterapkan dalam berbagai konteks melalui simulasi iklim, pertukaran pengetahuan komunitas, diskusi reflektif, dan eksperimen lapangan. Seluruh praktik mencerminkan tahapan siklus Kolb secara utuh atau parsial. Pembelajaran global memperlihatkan pentingnya ruang belajar yang partisipatif, berbasis komunitas, dan kontekstual. Kesimpulannya, experiential learning terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi petani secara reflektif dan adaptif. Kajian ini merekomendasikan integrasi pendekatan ini ke dalam sistem pendidikan petani di Indonesia, dengan menekankan pentingnya fasilitasi lokal, ruang eksperimen sosial, dan pengakuan atas pengalaman petani sebagai sumber pengetahuan utama. Kata Kunci: Siklus Kolb, kompetensi petani, experiential learning

Abstract

AbstrakDemensia merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang terus meningkat seiring bertambahnya populasi lansia. Meskipun belum ada terapi kuratif, sekitar 40% kasus demensia dapat dicegah melalui pengendalian faktor risiko yang dapat dimodifikasi. Pemberdayaan lansia sebagai subjek aktif dalam menjaga kesehatan kognitifnya telah diakui sebagai strategi potensial dalam pencegahan demensia. Kajian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pendekatan pemberdayaan lansia dalam konteks pencegahan demensia, serta mengevaluasi efektivitas dan tantangan implementasinya. Kajian literatur sistematis disusun berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA 2020, dengan penelusuran artikel melalui database PubMed hingga Mei 2024. Kata kunci pencarian mencakup konsep pemberdayaan lansia dan pencegahan demensia. Kriteria inklusi meliputi studi yang melibatkan lansia ≥60 tahun, intervensi berbasis pemberdayaan, desain kuantitatif, kualitatif, atau campuran, dan dipublikasikan dalam jurnal peer-reviewed. Total lima artikel memenuhi kriteria untuk dianalisis. Beragam pendekatan pemberdayaan ditemukan, mulai dari program kelompok berbasis komunitas, model perawatan berbasis pemberdayaan di panti wreda, hingga intervensi multikomponen yang mencakup pelatihan kognitif dan edukasi gaya hidup. Pemberdayaan terbukti meningkatkan kontrol diri, partisipasi, self-efficacy, dan kualitas hidup lansia. Pemberdayaan lansia berperan penting dalam strategi pencegahan demensia. Namun, integrasi sistematis pemberdayaan ke dalam intervensi masih terbatas. Diperlukan pengembangan model intervensi yang adaptif terhadap konteks sosial-budaya dan sistem kesehatan lokal. Kata Kunci: lansia, demensia, pemberdayaan, pencegahan, fungsi kognitif.

Abstract

The pain experienced during the first stage of labor varies for each individual, depending on the pain threshold of each patient. Despite the implementation of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and relaxation techniques in pain management at Bandung Private Hospital, some patients still endure persistent pain. The use of hypnotherapy as a non-pharmacological approach to alleviate pain has not been widely adopted. This study aims to evaluate the impact of hypnotherapy on the level of pain during the first stage of labor. Employing a Quasi-experimental design with a single-group pre-test and post-test without control, the researcher administered hypnotherapy techniques for 15-30 minutes. Pain levels were assessed using the Numeric Rating Scale among 14 parturient women. Comparing the pre-test and post-test measurements of pain levels, the results demonstrated a significant reduction in the first stage labor pain due to hypnotherapy (p < 0.05). Before the intervention, the mean pain level was 3.29, which decreased to 2.64 after hypnotherapy. This study's findings indicate that hypnotherapy is effective in reducing pain during the first stage of labor. The implications of these findings are crucial in enhancing the quality of care for laboring mothers. It is hoped that hypnotherapy can be widely applied in the management of labor pain in various hospitals, taking into account appropriate implementation processes and individual patient needs.

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk lanjut usia di Kota Bandung terus meningkat, disertai dengan tantangan pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi yang sesuai dengan kondisi kesehatan lansia. Di Sekolah Lansia CETAR Ujungberung, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar peserta belum memahami prinsip makanan bergizi yang tepat, terutama dalam kaitannya dengan penyakit kronis dan keterbatasan ekonomi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan edukasi makanan bergizi yang dirancang berbasis komunitas dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan lansia dalam menyusun pola makan sehat yang sederhana, terjangkau, dan sesuai kebutuhan tubuh. Metode yang digunakan mencakup ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi penyusunan menu, dengan evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara lisan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta mampu menyebutkan kembali jenis makanan bergizi dan memahami penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dalam menerapkan pola makan sehat di lingkungan keluarga. Kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman gizi, mendukung kebiasaan makan sehat, dan berpotensi dikembangkan lebih luas

Abstract

Stunting is one of the focuses of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which includes the secondary goal of ending hunger and all forms of malnutrition. Stunting is a serious chronic nutritional problem throughout the world, especially in developing countries. Stunting occurs when a child does not get enough nutrition during his growth period and can result in impaired physical growth and cognitive development. An effective solution to overcome stunting is to increase your intake of protein and important nutrients through additional food. Catfish has been proven to be a potential nutritional raw material for overcoming stunting because it is rich in protein and nutrients. The aim of this research is to analyze in detail the nutritional content of catfish extract which is considered a superior food ingredient for overcoming stunting. This research used a purposive sampling method by measuring proximate tests, total polyphenols and antioxidant activity (DPPH). It is hoped that the results of this research will provide further insight into the nutritional value of catfish extract and its potential in improving the nutritional status of stunted children. The results showed that catfish extract had a water content of 4.97%, ash content of 8.91%, fat content of 29.87%, protein content of 48.85%, carbohydrate content of 7.40%, total polyphenol content of 0.12% and antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 4.9724%. This research concludes that catfish extract has the potential to improve nutrition for stunted toddlers.
