Abstract

Riset ini berkonsentrasi untuk Analisis Determinan Kepercayaan Tamu Hotel Terhadap Keputusan Menginap Selama Masa Transisi Pandemi Covid-19. Target riset adalah identifikasi dan melakukan telaah kebijakan hotel terhadap kepercayaan tamu hotel sebagai keputusan menginap selama masa transisi Pandemi Covid-19. Tamu hotel adalah populasi riset ini. Dalam hasil penelitian ini dapat disampaikan bahwa, (1) Kapabilitas (Capability), kebajikan (virtue), serta kredibilitas (credibility) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (2) Kapabilitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (3) Kebajikan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (4) Kredibilitas berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember.

Abstract

Penelitiaan ini berfokus pada Analisis Determinan Kepercayaan Tamu Hotel Tehadap Keputusan Menginap Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Dapat diinformasikan dari hasil penelitian ini kepada kolega pemangku kepentingan adalah asosiasi PHRI  (Persatuan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) Cabang Jember, serta bertambah spesifik pada pelaksana bisnis pelayanan hotel menjadi pusat perhatian saat mengubungkan kebijakan dalam menanggapi taktik  pemasaran perhotelan saat kondisi pandemic Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk  mengidentifikasi  serta  melakukan analisis strategi  hotel terhadap kepercayaan tamu hotel untuk keputusan menginap selama Pandemi  Covid  19. Tamu hotel merupakan populasi dari penelitian ini. Dalam hasil penelitian ini dapat disampaikan bahwa, (1) Kecakapan (ability), kebaikan hati (benevolence), serta integritas (integrity) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (2) Kecakapan (ability) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (3) Kebaikan hati (benevolence) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember. (4) Integritas (integrity) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen menginap di hotel pada Hotel Bintang III di Kabupaten Jember.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Purchasing Department dalam pengadaan barang melalui Daftar Pasar Harian di Hotel 88 Jember. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran penting Purchasing dalam pengadaan barang melalui Daftar Harian Pasar, proses pengajuan dokumen supplier atau vendor di Hotel 88 Jember, kendala dan solusi terkait Daftar Harian Pasar. Penulisan laporan disajikan secara kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, internet searching. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, peran Purchasing di Hotel 88 Jember sangat penting karena semuanya berkaitan dengan pengadaan kebutuhan hotel. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kinerja yang ada sudah baik, namun perlu adanya staf Purchasing lain untuk membantu Purchasing Manager dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Pengarsipan yang dilakukan juga cepat dan baik. Semua arsip dan dokumen Accountin berada di tempat yang mudah ditemukan saat dibutuhkan, namun area file yang menyatu dengan kantor membuat ruangan menjadi sempit dan tidak semua file dapat diarsipkan dalam satu ruangan. Lokasi penyimpanan file dan arsip penting juga diharapkan diprioritaskan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the effectiveness and productivity of Front Desk Agents in improving hotel services in Jember. While the sampling technique used is: Quota Sampling Method, which is a way of taking samples that have been determined/rationed beforehand. Samples for hotel guests were taken in several hotels in the city of Jember as many as 80 respondents. Structured interviews with Managers and hotel management associations. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative, namely data analysis using detailed explanations obtained from hotel managers, employees, guests who are staying overnight which are descriptive in nature. The results of the regression test show that the variables of work effectiveness and work productivity are proven to have a joint effect on the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City. This illustrates that in order to improve the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City, the hotel must consider the factors of work effectiveness and work productivity. The results of identifying the factors that influence the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember, Simultaneously: Work effectiveness and work productivity are proven to have a joint effect on the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that 41,7% of the variation in the change in the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember is explained by the factors of work effectiveness and work productivity.

Abstract

The research on the implementation of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen of the Aston Jember Hotel & Conference Center is presented in this report. In order to make high-quality cuisine, the author of this scientific paper wishes to know what measures are used to preserve kitchen hygiene and sanitation at the Lekker Restaurant Hotel Aston Jember. The author employs a qualitative descriptive research approach to accomplish this goal, which involves performing observations, interviews, and the use of documentation materials. Additionally, the theory of kitchen hygiene and sanitation is combined with other aspects connected to enhancing the quality of these things. The people with power over matters of sanitation and kitchen hygiene were identified as informants for this study. Data from informants, in the form of written or spoken material, was carefully read again, analyzed, and described.

Abstract

Jember Regency has many tourist destinations, so it has around 20 million tourist visits. The potential tourist attractions in the Jember Regency area are quite large, including; natural, cultural, culinary and innovative economic tourism that spreads in 248 villages, but this opportunity has not been used by the local community as a tourism interest. The purpose of this training is to provide POKDARWIS with an understanding of the role, obligations and benefits for tourism boosters in rural environments, Pokdarwis is given direction and insight to explore and develop tourism capacity by conducting training on tourism destination management. This study utilizes qualitative descriptive methods that describe directly and clearly. It is hoped that this training will have insight into good management of tourist destinations and can share their knowledge with the community in the tourist environment. Therefore, the formation of community understanding to increase tourism capacity in rural environments

Abstract

Lojejer Village, Wuluhan District, is a village where the average person works as a fisherman in Jember Regency. The results of the observations explain the obstacles experienced by the community including: 1) The unstable selling price of cob fish which is still low, 2) not having insight into the process of managing marine catches so that the selling price is high, 3) The lack of community skills to innovate so as to produce products with high selling prices. The next stage is the preparation of monitoring and evaluation instruments, namely community insights, including the process of managing cob fish as shredded products, preparing attractive logo designs and product packaging so that they can be marketed, and managing permits after creating new products, promoting through social media and others. The result of this training is that training and education on the process of making Shredded Cob is carried out as a solution to increase the income of fishermen and home industry processing groups in Lojejer Village will manage the catch and then can be marketed at a higher price

Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology with the concept of Smart Destinations offers an innovative solution in tourism management with the aim of improving operational efficiency and tourist experience. IoT technology, which includes interconnected sensor devices and communication systems, provides the ability to unify and manage various aspects of a destination in real-time. Meanwhile, Smart Destinations use digital technology to optimize the tourist experience through personalization, resource efficiency, and desire. This article discusses the background and key benefits of IoT integration in Smart Destinations, including improving the visitor experience through data and analytics, better crisis management, and more efficient resource management. Application examples such as smart parking systems, automated energy management, and providing contextual information to tourists through sensors are described to illustrate the practical application of this technology. However, challenges such as data privacy and security, technology compatibility issues, and significant investment requirements are also discussed. In conclusion, while this integration faces several obstacles, its potential benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of tourist destinations make it a promising approach for the future of the tourism industry.

Abstract

This research aims to examine technology-based innovation in competition excellence, customer experience, customer loyalty in the hotel industry in Jember Area. So that through this research we can provide reference ideas for stakeholder partners, namely Hotel Indonesia Jember Branch and Restaurant Association (PHRI) and more specifically hotel services business actors as a reference in making policies in responding to hotel marketing strategies that correlate with customer practices and customer loyalty. This The research aims to find out and test technology-based innovation competitively excellence, customer experience, customer loyalty in the hotel industry (Case III Star Hotel Study in Jember Regency). The population of this study is Hotel guests. This activity stage begins with a survey, namely testing research instrument. After obtaining a valid instrument, the research team then left go to the field to dig up information by interviewing and distributing questionnaires to obtain primary and secondary data. The data obtained are processed using a statistical processing application program. The next stage is prepare a final report based on the results of data and scientific analysis publication as the output of this research.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the labour turnover of Star Hotels in Jember City. The research population was employees of star hotels in Jember City, referring to PHRI Jember data, there were 5 star hotels in Jember City with a total of 162 employees. The sample for this research was some employees of star hotels in Jember City. The sampling method used was the quota sampling method, namely a predetermined/rationed sample collection method. The sample size was determined at 60 respondents, which was based on the rule that the sample size was at least 15 times the variables. Structured interviews with hotel managers and management associations. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. Result of statistical analysis shows that the compensation factor variable has a negative and significant effect on labour turnover, the career path variable has a negative and significant effect on labour turnover, the work stress variable has a positive and significant effect on labour turnover.
