Abstract

The Transformation of the Distribution of the Sedulur Sikep Samin Community, Blora Regency Abstract The Samin community is a community that emerged in the Dutch colonial era, this community is part of Javanese society which teaches about equality in life and freedom to practice their beliefs (manunggaling kawulo gusti), the Samin community has procedures, customs, languages , and norms and has a unique history, in its emergence can not be separated from the arrival of the Dutch colonial government which implemented forced cultivation and land taxes for the natives which was the background for the emergence of teachings from the Samin community. The emergence of the samin movement or better known as geger samin is the movement of samin surosentiko or raden kohar who is believed to have one lineage with the king of Majapahit. This samin movement strengthened in 1890 in Blora Regency, then expanded to various areas in Blora Regency including Sambong, Doplang, Randublatung, Kedungtuban, and shared other districts such as Rembang Regency, Pati Regency, Grobogan Regency, and Bojonegoro Regency. This study focuses on describing the transformation of the distribution of the Samin community in Blora Regency with a local knowledge approach (emic) with a field survey method to find out the location and map the distribution of the Samin community that still exists in maintaining their culture.

Abstract

Marriage is a sacred thing both in religion and culture when a woman and a man become legally husband and wife after carrying out the marriage contract and fulfilling the requirements and pillars of religious marriage, but the Samin people have a single rule, one man and one woman can be declared as legal partners when they become husband and wife when they first have intercourse, this is known as the pasuwitan tradition. This wedding tradition is part of the Samin people's wedding customs, but over time, many Samin people have legalized their marital status through the KUA. The procedure for the traditional Samin wedding is carried out with the stages of nakokke, mbalesi gunem, ngendek, nyuwito, ngeger, paseksen and tingkepan. Along with the development and influence of the awareness of the government and Indonesian citizens regarding the registration of marriages in Blimbing Sambongrejo Village, most of the Samin natives have legally registered their marriages and have made changes to the procedure for marriage through summons and registration of marriages at the KUA in accordance with the law as citizens. Indonesia is responsible for carrying out the obligations of the Samin people.

Abstract

Bencana banjir merupakan salah satu bencana yang sering terjadi di wilayah Jakarta seperti di Kampung Melayu terutama pada musim penghujan, banjir banyak membawa material berupa sampah yang mengakibatkan banyak penyakit yang timbul pada saat banjir maupun pasca banjir seperti diare, leptospirosis, demam berdarah, ISPA, Demam Tifoid dan Penyakit Kulit. Untuk meminimalisir penyakit-penyakit tersebut maka perlu adanya pemberian sosialisasi kepada para kader ibu-ibu Jumantik untuk memperkuat pemahaman tentang kondisi banjir dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam menanggulangi permasalahan penyakit yang sering timbul pasca banjir. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode dengan sosialisasi kepada 28 orang ibu-ibu Jumantik yang berada di wilayah kecamatan Kampung Melayu, pelaksanaan sosialisasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meminimalisir timbulnya berbagai macam penyakit yang dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan pola hidup sehat, namun yang lebih penting lagi diperlukan adanya program dan kebijakan yang terpadu untuk mengurangi risiko bencana penyakit pasca banjir agar dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya mengupayakan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). Dari hasil kegiatan, sebanyak 80% ibu-ibu Jumantik merasa puas dan sosialisasi tersebut mampu meningkatkan kesiapan peserta dalam menghadapi situasi darurat pasca bencana, pengetahuan yang lebih baik saat banjir oleh ibu-ibu Jumantik mengenai tanda-tanda awal penyakit berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesiapan dan kemampuan kader ibu Jumantik.

Abstract

Background: Sukabumi Regency is an area prone to natural disasters in West Java. Its location on the south coast, its mountainous and hilly morphology makes Sukabumi Regency prone to earthquakes, tsunamis and landslides. The aim of this research is to illustrate how geography subjects in schools can be a source of disaster education that supports school-based disaster preparedness. Methods: Using a qualitative approach, this study involved in-depth interviews, observations, and document evaluations at Public Senior High School 1 Warung Kiara, with geography teachers as the main informants. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, verification, and drawing conclusions, with local wisdom-based studies to improve learning materials before validation. Findings: Disaster education in schools plays an important role in improving student preparedness through integration into the geography curriculum, social activities, and mitigation training. Although there are challenges in delivering the material, a geographic literacy-based approach, disaster simulations, and partnerships with stakeholders can strengthen understanding and build a culture of preparedness. In addition, expanding disaster education through extracurricular activities such as scouting and the juvenile red cross can provide students with more in-depth practical experiences. Conclusion: The geography subject plays a crucial role in disaster education by enhancing students' awareness and preparedness for disaster risks. Through theoretical and practical approaches such as disaster simulations, risk mapping, and geographic information systems technology, students develop essential mitigation skills. Integrating multidisciplinary perspectives further strengthens school-based disaster preparedness efforts. Novelty/Originality of this article: The novelty of this research lies in illustrating how geography subjects in schools, combined with extracurricular activities, can effectively support disaster education and preparedness, especially in disaster-prone areas like Sukabumi Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the level of slum conditions in Cengkareng Subdistrict and identify suitable upgrading alternatives to address the situation. The assessment method used is scoring/weighting based on the Guidelines for PU Cipta Karya to measure the level of slum conditions, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine slum upgrading. This strategy is based on best practices taken from the Book of CODI updates with a focus on Community Upgrading Projects published by the Community Organizations Development Institute in Thailand. The study results indicate that there are three levels of slum conditions in Cengkareng Subdistrict, namely, light, moderate, and severe slums. For alternative rejuvenation strategies, on-site upgrading is chosen for low and moderate slum levels, while on-site reblocking is selected for areas with a very severe slum condition.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai pentingnya ekosistem mangrove serta pelatihan pembuatan sirup berbahan dasar mangrove kepada remaja, khususnya siswa OSIS di SMPN 260 Jakarta yang berlokasi di Pulau Harapan, Kepulauan Seribu. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama, yaitu: edukasi tentang fungsi dan manfaat mangrove, demonstrasi pembuatan sirup dari tanaman mangrove, serta kegiatan penanaman mangrove secara bersama. Evaluasi terhadap pemahaman peserta dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan siswa setelah kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif dan praktik langsung dapat meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis serta minat remaja terhadap pelestarian lingkungan dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi dalam membangun semangat kolaborasi dan tanggung jawab sosial di kalangan generasi muda.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of ICT based Drills model to improve student learning result of social sciences subject. This research has been done in class VIII A with 32 students in Diponegoro I Junior High School East Jakarta school year of 20182019 from March to May 2019. The method used in this research is classroom action research that has 3 cycles where each cycle consists of four steps: Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. According to the research finding, the learning result occurs enhancement in each cycle. In the cycle 1 as big as 21,8% (7 students) reaches score that is above the minimum completeness criteria 75 with the average of learning result 54,56, in cycle 2 becomes 50% (16 students) reaches score that above the minimum completeness criteria 75 with the average of learning result 76,75, and in cycle 3 becomes 93,75% (30 students) reaches score that is above the minimum completeness criteria 75 with the average of learning result 85,12.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of social support of parents in making decisions choosing study programs. This study aims to measure empirically the influence of parents' social support on decision making choosing social science education study programs. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods, and the sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. The population in this study were IPS class of 2019 students, amounting to 78, while the sample in this study amounted to 65 respondents. Based on the results of research by testing the simple linear regression hypothesis shows that the value of R square is 0.280 which shows the effect of 28%. The remaining 72% is explained by other variables outside the study. In addition, it was also strengthened by the t-test result of 4,947> t-table 1,999. so it can be concluded that the parent's social support variable influences the decision making variable in choosing a social science education study program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning at the Kampus Diakoneia Modern Foundation. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this study were the head of alternative education foundations, teachers and students. The results of the study are: 1. Learning planning at the Kampus Diakoneia Modern Foundation is divided into 2 learning planning models, namely learning planning prepared by the teacher and learning planning prepared by students. 2. The learning implementation at the Kampus Diakoneia Modern Foundation consists of three stages, namely the pre-instructional stage / preliminary activities, the instructional stage / core activities and the evaluation stage / closing activities but the implementation of the three stages has not been carried out optimally. 3. Evaluation of learning at the Kampus Diakoneia Modern Foundation implements summative evaluation, which is an evaluation that is carried out at the end of the semester. Learning evaluation uses a literacy assessment rubric, a numeration assessment rubric, a product presentation assessment rubric and a 4C assessment rubric (critical thinking, collaborative, creativity, communication and problem solving). 4. Learning products of students at the Kampus Diakoneia Modern Foundation in the form of mind mapping, video presentation lessons, student learning reports for 10 weeks, pictures, paintings, musical instruments, making miniatures and others.     Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Implementasi Pembelajaran di Yayasan Kampus Diakoneia Modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala pendidikan alternative yayasan, guru mata pelajaran dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1. Perencanaan pembelajaran di Yayasan Kampus Diakoneia Modern terbagi atas 2 model perencanaan pembelajaran, yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran yang disusun oleh guru dan perencanaan pembelajaran yang disusun oleh peserta didik. 2. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Yayasan Kampus Diakoneia Modern terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap praintruksional/kegiatan pendahuluan, tahap intruksional/kegiatan inti dan tahap evaluasi/kegiatan penutup tetapi pelaksanaan ketiga tahapan tersebut belum dilaksanakan secara optimal. 3. Evaluasi pembelajaran di Yayasan Kampus Diakoneia Modern menerapkan evaluasi sumatif yaitu evaluasi yang dilakukan pada akhir semester. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan rubrik penilaian literasi, rubrik penilaian numerasi, rubrik penilaian presentasi produk dan rubrik penilaian 4C (critical thinking, collaborative, creativity, communication dan problem solving). 4. Produk pembelajaran peserta didik di Yayasan Kampus Diakoneia Modern berupa mind mapping, video presentasi pembelajaran, laporan belajar peserta didik selama 10 minggu, gambar, lukisan, alat music, membuat miniature dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of proving the effect of online learning with the google classroom application on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 248 Jakarta. The sample in this study was determined using the proportional random sampling technique using the slovin formula at a significance level of 5%. This study used a sample of 154 respondents with analytical requirements testing techniques consisting of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing with simple linear regression analysis tests which included regression equations, linearity tests, correlation coefficient tests, R2 tests and t tests. The results of the research are, there is a significant positive effect on the distance learning variable with the google classroom application on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects. Variable online learning with the google classroom application has an effect of 62.6% on the assertive ability of class VIII students in social studies subjects, while the other 37.4% is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied in this study.   Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh pembelajaran daring dengan aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 248 Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik Proportionate Random Sampling menggunakan rumus slovin pada taraf signifikansi yaitu 5%. Penelitian ini menggunakan 154 sampel responden dengan teknik pengujian syarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas serta uji hipotesis dengan uji analisis regresi liniear sederhana yang meliputi persamaan regresi, uji linearitas, uji koefisien korelasi, uji R2 dan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan pada variabel pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan aplikasi google classroom terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS. Variabel pembelajaran daring dengan aplikasi google classroom berpengaruh 62,6% terhadap kemampuan asertif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran IPS, sementara itu 37,4% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain diluar variabel yang diteliti pada penelitian ini.
