Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah penyakit menular yang menyerang paru dan organ lainnya seperti kelenjar, tulang, kulit disebabkan oleh mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu penyumbang kematian terbanyak di dunia. Setiap tahun angka kejadian TB terus meningkat. Fenomena yang ditemukan di RSUD Kabupaten Bintan perawat yang bertanggung jawab dalam program TB di Rumah Sakit didapatkan tingkat kepatuhan sekitar 75% dari total penderita 34 orang dan diketahui selama ini petugas hanya memberikan obat yang akan dikonsumsi secara teratur sesuai dengan yang dianjurkan tanpa disertai pesan-pesan lain terkait dengan kepatuhan dan kesembuhan dari penyakit yang diderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk hubungan peran perawat edukator dengan kepatuhan pasien TB paru dalam pengobatan di RSUD Kabupaten Bintan Tahun 2022. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah penderita TB Paru yang berobat di RSUD Kabupaten yang berjumlah 34 orang dan data dianalisa menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil diketahui uji statistik chi-square didapatkan nilai p value 0,010≤0,05 berarti ada perbedaan proporsi kepatuhan pasien dalam pengobatan yang patuh dengan peran perawat edukator baik, artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya adalah ada hubungan peran perawat edukator dengan kepatuhan pasien TB paru dalam pengobatan di RSUD Kabupaten Bintan Tahun 2022. Saran bagi pelayanan keperawatan dapat dijadikan masukan bahan pertimbangan rumah sakit untuk digunakan dalam merancang kebijakan pelayanan keperawatan dengan menentukan standar operasional peran perawat sebagai edukator melalui inovasi, mengadakan seminar di lingkungan internal rumah sakit dengan mendatangkan ahli-ahli keperawatan bagi perawat khususnya untuk meningkatkan perannya sebagai edukator

Abstract

Elderly is an individual who changes a lot both physically and mentally, especially the reduction in the various functions and abilities he once had. Nowadays there are many problems that tend to occur in the elderly both physically and psychologically, one of which is insomnia. Most of the elderly who suffer from stress experience sleep disturbances. This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in the elderly in the UPTD Work Area of the Sei Lekop Health Center, Kab. Bintan in 2022. The design of this study is a type of correlation research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were 85 elderly people and analyzed using the chi square test. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in the elderly in the UPTD Work Area of the Sei Lekop Health Center, Kab. Bintan Year 2022 (p-value 0.000). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in the elderly in the UPTD Work Area of the Sei Lekop Health Center, Kab. Bintan Year 2022. It is recommended for the elderly to be able to manage sleep well and avoid risk factors for sleep quality disturbances such as stress.

Abstract

Missed Nursing Care adalah asuhan keperawatan yang tidak diberikan sama sekali, tidak dilakukan secara lengkap, tertunda atau kelalaian. Halini merupakan tantangan global yang mengancam keselamatan dan kesehatan pasien. Salah satu faktor penyebab Missed Nursing Care yaitu lingkungan kerja dan budaya keselamatan pasien. Lingungan kerja dan Budaya keselamatan pasien merupakan prioritas kesehatan global danmenjadi unsur penting dalam pelaksanaan keselamatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat adanya hubungan antara lingkungan kerja danbudaya keselamatan pasien dengan Missed Nursing Care di Rs. X Kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 40 perawat di RS. X Kota Batam dengan teknik penarikan sampel yaitu total sampling. Data penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Analisa bivariat menunjukkan mayoritas yaitu sebanyak 17 perawat (90%) di RS. X Kota Batam memiliki lingkungan kerja kurang dengan Missed Nursing Care yang tinggi dan sebanyak 16 responden (89%) memiliki budaya keselamatan pasien kurang dengan Missed Nursing Care yang tinggi. Hasil uji Chi-square didapatkan nilai p- value 0,000 < 0,05. Ada hubungan yang siginifikan antara lingkungan pasien, budaya keselamatan pasien dengan Missed Nursing Care di RS. X Kota Batam yang artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

Interprofessional communication is a process in planning, implementing and evaluating communication programs aimed at health service providers. Handover is the process of transferring the main authority and responsibility for providing clinical care to patients from one nurse to another. The implementation of the SBAR Handover and interprofessional communication was not optimal, decreasing from 98% in January-March to 95% in July-August. This research is to determine the relationship between the implementation of the SBAR handover and the interprofessional communication of nurses at the Tanjungpinang City Hospital in 2023. This research is a quantitative research using an analytical survey. The total population was 150 respondents. The sample in this study was 60 respondents. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis used was the Chi-square test with a significance of 0.05. There is a relationship between SBAR handover and interprofessional communication between nurses at Tanjungpinang City Regional Hospital. Implementing good SBAR handovers and good interprofessional communication between nurses has a big influence in optimizing the provision of nursing care and improving the quality of service in hospitals. It is hoped that nurses will further improve solid collaboration when working through the implementation of SBAR handovers and interprofessional communication in accordance with standards.

Abstract

Insertion pain is pain caused by the action of inserting a needle into the AV fistula as a link between blood vessel circulation and the hemodialysis machine during the hemodialysis process. In Brazil it was found that 70% of patients undergoing hemodialysis experienced mild to moderate pain at the time of AV fistula insertion. The phenomenon found in the hemodialysis unit at Tanjungpinang City Regional Hospital in 2020 was 33 patients experiencing moderate pain. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the Benson relaxation technique on pain during insertion in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The research method is a quasi experimental design, with a pre test – post test design approach without control group. The sample consisted of 30 respondents in the intervention and control groups who were routine hemodialysis patients at the Tanjungpinang City Regional Hospital in 2023. Using a non-probability sampling technique, consecutive sampling. Data were processed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Univariate analysis of results before the Benson technique, 73.3% experienced moderate pain and after the Benson technique, 80% did not feel pain in the intervention group. It was concluded that there was an influence of the Benson technique on insertion pain in patients undergoing hemodialysis. It is hoped that the Benson relaxation technique will be applied by nurses as non-pharmacological pain management to reduce AV-fistula insertion pain in hemodialysis patients.

Abstract

Background: The application of patient safety goals is an effort made by hospitals to improve the quality of health services. Handover activities that are not accompanied by effective communication can cause errors that can harm the patient. Recommendations from WHO require nurses to improve communication patterns, especially when carrying out handovers, namely by using SBAR communication which consists of Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation. Based on the data summary of reported incidents that occurred in the hospital as many as 20 incident cases in the past year, including cases of KTD, KNC, KTC and KPCS. From these incidents, there were 6 cases related to miscommunication during handovers. Some nurses still do not apply the SBAR communication method when carrying out handovers, resulting in cutting/lagging of the information provided and resulting in incidents. Objective:to determine the reltionshipbetween SBAR Communication during handover and the implementation of patient safety at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. Methods: This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all inpatient nurses at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital with total sampling, which consisted of 63 respondents. Results: showed that 41 respondents (65%) used SBAR communication during handovers in the good category and implemented patient safety. Conclusion:This means that the implementation of SBAR communication during the handover is good but not optimal because there are still 35% who have not implemented it. Based on the chi square test, there is a relationship between SBAR communication during handover and the application of patient safety (p=0.000 <0.05). Suggestion:, it is expected that nurses can carry out SBAR communication during handovers effectively so that they can implement patient safety optimallyKeywords : Newbron, Skin wrap, hypothermia.

Abstract

The development of home care in Indonesia has progressed to the point that many people use home care services. The epidemiological transition has resulted in an increase in the number of cases of chronic disease compared to acute disease, resulting in an increase in the number of cases of terminal disease that are not treated effectively and efficiently in hospitals. Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital has a home care service that provides several forms of services, namely wound care visits, elderly care services, baby care services, services for terminal patients, and other special needs. There are complaints from patients being managed regarding the responsiveness of the staff, friendliness and skills of the staff which are subject to evaluation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of homecare services and patient satisfaction with wound care at Bakti Timah Karimun Hospital. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach with a sample size of 80 people selected using total sampling techniques. The results of the study showed that the description of the quality of homecare services from the 5 components assessed (Reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence) was in the sufficient category (73.8%), and the description of wound care patient satisfaction was in the very satisfied category. (62.5%). In this way, it is hoped that homecare nurses can improve the quality of services more optimally so that satisfaction can be achieved and maintained.

Abstract

Nursing documentation is a legal aspect that protects nurses in providing nursing services, but documentation is still found to be incomplete. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the completeness of documentation at the X Batam private hospital. The method in this research uses a total sampling technique with Quantitative research method with a cross sectional design. The sample consisted of 30 respondents. The data was processed using the chi square test. Based on gender characteristics, there were 7 respondents male and 23 female respondents, and based on the education level of Bachelor of Nursing, there were 27 respondents and D3 of nursing. as many as 3 respondents. Univariate analysis Motivation was mostly in the strong category with a presentation of 83.3%, knowledge was mostly in the good category with a presentation of 90.0%, workload was mostly in the low category with a presentation of 76.7%, documentation was mostly in the good category with a presentation of 80.0%. Bivariate analysis of factors influencing completeness of documentation. P-Value 0.001 (<0.005). It was concluded that motivation, knowledge and workload factors showed a significant relationship with completeness of documentation. It is hoped that more nursing documentation good again.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh Relaksasi Otot Progresif Terhadap Stres Kerja Perawat Di Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang. Survey Persatuan Perawatan Nasional Indonesia (PPNI) tahun 2018 memperlihatkan jika ada 50,9% perawat di rumah sakit yang bekerja di 4 provinsi di Indonesia alami stres kerja. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan di Ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib terhadap 10 perawat dimana didapatkan stress kerja perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini buat mengetahui pengaruh relaksasi otot progresif terhadap stres kerja perawat di Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang. Metode Penelitian ini Kuantitatif memakai Pre Eksperimental Design dengan kategori satu kelompok (one group pretest posttest design). Sampel berjumlah 22 perawat di ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel ialah total sampling. Data diolah memakai uji Wilcoxon. Sesudah dibagikan terapi relaksasi otot progresif pada perawat Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor respon stres. Hasil uji analisis menunjukan ada pengaruh ROP terhadap stress kerja perawat dengan selisih rata-rata sebelum serta setelah dilaksanakan ROP ialah -19,65 p value 0,000. Disimpulkan ada pengaruh ROP terhadap stres kerja perawat. Sehingga direkomendasikan kepada tenaga kesehatan khusunya para medis yang mempunyai beban kerja yang sangat berisiko untuk menggunakan terapi ROP dalam kurangi respon stress.
