Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between work ethics and police performance, the relationship between work motivation and police performance, the relationship between job satisfaction and police performance, the relationship between compensation and police performance, and to analyze the relationship between compensation and police performance. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing online questionnaires through social media. Respondents in this study were senior police officers who were determined by simple random sampling method with a total of 343 police officers. Data analysis in this study used structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software as a data processing tool. The questionnaire was designed using a Liker scale of 1 to 5. The stages of data testing were validation test, reliability test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the work ethics variable has a positive and significant effect on police performance, the work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on police performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on police performance, the compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on police performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between motivation and police performance, competency and police performance, compensation and police performance. This research method is a quantitative survey. Respondents in this study were 310 police officers. Samples were taken based on random sampling technique. Data was obtained by distributing online questionnaires through social media, online questionnaires were designed using a Likert scale of 1 to 7. Data analysis used structural equation modeling ( SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software tools. Test research instruments with validity and reliability tests and hypothesis testing. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis. In this study the analysis used to determine the effect of work motivation, competence and compensation on the performance of police officers. The results of this study are motivation has a positive and significant effect on police performance, competency has a positive and significant effect on police performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on police performance.

Abstract

Manajemen sumber daya manusia yang baik merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja organisasi termasuk di dalam Kepolisian. Pendidikan merupakan salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan manajemen di dalam Kepolisian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan dalam meningkatkan manajemen sumber daya manusia di Kepolisian serta strategi dan implementasinya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan konseptual dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan manajemen sumber daya manusia di Kepolisian. Pendekatan yang tepat dalam strategi pendidikan seperti pelatihan dan pengembangan, pendidikan formal, dan program sertifikasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Kepolisian. Strategi pendidikan yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Kepolisian dan implementasinya harus didukung oleh kebijakan dan dukungan organisasi yang memadai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan manajemen sumber daya manusia harus menjadi prioritas di Kepolisian untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi dan keamanan masyarakat.

Abstract

Transportasi publik memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi aksesibilitas pendidikan bagi masyarakat. Ketersediaan transportasi publik yang andal dan terjangkau dapat memungkinkan siswa dan mahasiswa untuk mengakses pendidikan secara lebih mudah dan terjangkau. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis yang bertujuan untuk menggali dan memahami dampak transportasi publik terhadap akses dan partisipasi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan aksesibilitas siswa dalam menggunakan transportasi publik, antara lain keamanan dan kenyamanan, lingkungan yang ramah anak, informasi yang akurat dan mudah diakses, serta infrastruktur yang mendukung transportasi publik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kerja sama antara pemerintah, institusi pendidikan dan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan, keandalan dan kualitas transportasi publik dalam memfasilitasi aksesibilitas pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The village government is a milestone in achieving governance that is closest to the community. This has the potential to increase public trust in government. However, this is a challenge for village officials to regulate the running of government at the village level, so that the managerial skills of village officials are very important for every village official to have. The purpose of this research is to describe the managerial performance of village administration in Banyumas Regency. The method used is a survey approach with data collection, namely questionnaires, observation and documentation. The sample technique used is multi-stage sampling with 81 respondents selected based on geographical location. Each item in the questionnaire has been tested to be valid and reliable based on the r count value which is greater than the r table. The results show that the managerial apparatus of the village in managing government in Banyumas Regency is in a good category. This is shown by the existence of good planning, organizing, actuating, and controling of village government. Keywords; Managerial Performance, Governance, Village Government.

Abstract

Excellent police service is very important. Community expected the excellent police service, so that the National Police needs to create positive performance. The study aims to determine whether there is a direct or indirect effect of reward and job satisfaction on performance and strengthening the performance of the National Police. The research method is a survey with path analysis. The research variables are 2 exogenous variables, reward system (X1) and job satisfaction (X2) and 1 endogenous variable, performance (X3). Sampling of 548 Polri personnel in the South Sumatra Regional Police used stratified random sampling. Based on the results of statistical calculations, there is a positive direct effect of rewards on performance with a path coefficient of 0.381 and a T-count of 10.217. Job satisfaction on performance has a positive direct effect with a path coefficient of 0.475; T-count value of 12.740. The positive direct effect of rewards on job satisfaction with a path coefficient of 0.714 and the T-count of 23.817 and the indirect effect of rewards on performance through job satisfaction has a path coefficient of 0.339; T-count value is 11,242. Strengthening the performance of the National Police is done by building a healthy job environment through the accuracy of the management of reward, based on the accuracy of performance assessment instruments, so that it has an impact on job satisfaction and has positive effect on performance.

Abstract

Human resources are a crucial factor in achieving organizational success. Therefore, job satisfaction plays a significant role in the success of an organization. This study collected data from 290 members of the Tulang Bawang Police through questionnaires distributed between September and December. The analysis utilized structural equation modeling (SEM). The study found that both quality of work life and work-life balance had a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Additionally, quality of work life and work-life balance had a positive and significant effect on perceived organizational support. Furthermore, perceived organizational support mediated the relationship between quality of work life and work-life balance and job satisfaction. Finally, the study found that perceived organizational support had a positive and significant effect on job satisfact.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to examine the significance of implementing the National Digital Samsat (SIGNAL) program in the Metro Jaya Police Jurisdiction, as well as the factors that impede and support the program's execution, and to analyze outcome practices from a systemic perspective in the process of implementing the National Digital Samsat (SIGNAL) in the Metro Jaya Police Jurisdiction. In this study, the type of data collected suggests that the research approach used was qualitative. This writing of this study uses a descriptive method. This study was performed in the Samsat office in the Polda Metro Jaya, precisely in the Special Capital Area of Jakarta. According to the findings, the digital service of the Polda Metro Jaya SIGNAL program has been functioning as expected. In addition, a number of components, including equipment (computers, etc.), vehicles, and human resources, are capable of supporting the operation of the digital service program SIGNAL Polda Metro Jaya. In addition, the implementation of the SIGNAL service program is hindered by a number of obstacles, including a network issue that prevents the service from being handled out as it must be linked to the network in order to perform services (such as determining the total amount of Motor Vehicle Tax payments), an ineffective communication when carrying out duties, and the ongoing use of broker services by individuals who do not wish to deal with Motor Vehicle Tax payments. The involvement of brokers holds back the creation of clean services that adhere to the regulatory requirements.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence in the digital era has brought significant changes in the way companies manage and utilise human resources. Artificial Intelligence is expected to assist in various aspects of human resource management, particularly in military or state security sectors. This study focuses on the impact of AI on human resources within the Indonesian police force. The use of AI tools in managing the large amount of employee data in the police force is seen as beneficial. Matching the right person with the right job is a key challenge for human resource professionals, which AI and automation technology can help with. AI aids in forecasting future employee needs and making effective recruitment choices. Performance management tools driven by AI offer opportunities for both employees and organisations in police forces. AI can also help in evaluating employees fairly through multi-attribute decision-making processes. Additionally, AI systems can assist managers in determining appropriate compensation and benefits for police personnel.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of investigator certification in the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri and to analyze the impact of investigator certification on competence and performance in this Directorate. This research uses a qualitative research method, with Total Quality Management theory as the analytical framework. The results of the study show that the implementation of investigator certification in the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri aims to improve the technical, ethical, and legal competence of investigators in law enforcement, including handling complex cases such as cybercrime and corruption. The certification process includes special training, competency assessment, and the awarding of certificates after evaluations involving case simulations, written exams, and interviews. This certification significantly impacts the improvement of investigators' technical skills, legal knowledge, and analytical abilities, as well as helping to reduce administrative errors and increase the speed and quality of investigations. However, challenges such as uneven training and delays in issuing certificates can slow down law enforcement and hinder the equitable distribution of competence. Therefore, to maximize the impact, improvements in the certification process, budget allocation, continuous evaluation of training modules, and ensuring equal distribution of training are needed so that investigators have the necessary competencies, which in turn supports professional, transparent, and fair law enforcement.
