Abstract

This study aims to identify the needs for developing an online comprehensive test application at one of the Islamic universities in Indonesia. The needs assessment includes target situation analysis, user needs analysis, reality analysis, and gap analysis. This is a descriptive quantitative research involving 135 examiners and students who are taking comprehensive examinations from all four faculties at IAIN Bone as samples. Sampling technique used a stratified random sampling. Questionnaires and interview techniques were utilized for data collection, followed by a descriptive analysis. The findings reveal several weaknesses in the comprehensive test system. These include the lack of integration among all faculties, partial implementation, a highly flexible exam schedule, a paper-based test administration method, a lack of standardized instrument development, and suboptimal utilization of comprehensive test results for mapping student competencies. To conclude, it is necessary to develop an online comprehensive test application which is expected to be able to make the implementation of the comprehensive test at IAIN Bone more integrated, programmed, and effective. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik butir soal UAS Kelas IV Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti tingkat Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan berdasarkan: (1) Tingkat Kesukaran, (2) indeks daya beda, dan (3) efektivitas distraktor. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik butir soal UAS Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti berdasarkan analisis empiris dengan pendekatan teori respon butir, 24 butir memiliki daya beda yang baik, 20 butir memiliki tingkat kesukaran yang baik, dan 12 butir memiliki efektivitas distractor yang baik dari 24 butir yang dianalisis. Karakteristik butir yang baik berdasarkan daya beda, tingkat kesukaran dan efektivitas distractor secara bersama-sama sebanyak 8 dari 24 butir yang dianalisis.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' interest and understanding by using educational game-based learning methods in PAI learning. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, starting from 3 October 2023 to 21 November 2023. This research was held at SD Inpres 5/81 Cinnong which is in Cinnong Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency. 2nd grade students at SD Inpres 5/81 Cinnong, totaling 13 students, 10 male students and 3 female students were the subjects of this research. The object is the application of educational game-based learning methods to increase student interest and understanding. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and tests. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to analyze this research data. This research shows the results that when using the educational game method there is an increase in students' interest in learning from cycle I to cycle II, namely happy facial expressions in participating in learning from 7 students to 10 students. Pay attention during the learning process from 6 students to 11 students. Students do not play alone when the teacher teaches from 6 students to 11 students. trying to answer the questions given, from 4 students to 7 students. Trying to answer the questions given from 4 students to 11 students. Students' understanding also increased, in cycle 1 the students' average score was 70.77, there was an increase in cycle II with an average score of 90.

Abstract

The application of the Active Learning "Team Quiz" method in increasing students' learning motivation and disciplinary character in Islamic Religious Education and Character lessons in class VII.4 at SMP Negeri 1 Barebbo is the focus of the research. This research aims to increase learning motivation and disciplinary character by using the Active Learning "Team Quiz" method. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) and is carried out in two cycles. Cycle I was held on 15 November 2024 and cycle II on 23 November 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Barebbo which is located in Apala Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research subjects were 27 students in class VII.4 consisting of 12 female students and 15 male students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The resulting data was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results obtained show an increase in students' learning motivation and disciplinary character after implementing the "Team Quiz" active learning method in PAI learning both in cycle I and cycle II. Indicators of increasing motivation to learn are feelings of joy/focus in learning and student participation in discussions, while indicators of disciplinary character are punctuality in entering learning and neatness and modesty in dress which reached up to 92.58%. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' learning motivation and disciplinary character by applying the "Team Quiz" active learning method in Islamic Religious Education and Character learning in class VII.4 SMPN 1 Barebbo has increased.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a comprehensive instrument for the Islamic Education course examination. Because the implementation of the Comprehensive Examination is still partial, flexible, and not yet supported by an instrument that has gone through a systematic quality testing process, it employs a research and development (R&D) approach, adopting a modified version of the Borg and Gall development model, which consists of seven stages: (1) research and information gathering, (2) planning, (3) development of the initial product, (4) limited trial, (5) revision of the initial product, (6) field testing, and (7) final product revision. Data were collected through interview guidelines and questionnaires to examine the theoretical and empirical characteristics of the test items. Data analysis was conducted using the R Studio application to determine item discrimination, difficulty level, and distractor effectiveness. The results indicate that the final product consists of 5 difficult items (25%), 12 moderate items (60%), and three easy items (15%). In terms of item discrimination, eight items (40%) were classified as very good, seven items (35%) as good, and five items (25%) as requiring revision. Regarding distractor effectiveness, 17 items (85%) were categorized as good, while three items (15%) were considered requiring revision. Based on the development of comprehensive instruments, the Islamic Education course shows good quality and is suitable for use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang hubungan permainan bowling terhadap interaksi sosial anak di kelompok A di TK Aisyah Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone. Pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada hubungan permainan bowling dengan interaksi sosial anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyah, yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Tibojong Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS statistics 29, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan pedagogik. Data diperoleh dari angket dan dokumentasi terhadap anak dikelompok A. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan permainan bowling terhadap interaksi sosial anak terdapat korelasi permainan bowling (X) dengan pelaksanaan interaksi sosial (Y) anak kelompok A di TK Aisyah Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur. Dengan perhitungan koefisien rxy hitung sebesar 22.259, lebih besar dari r tabel sebesar 5.953. rhitung > rtabel (22.259>5.953). Koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan Y yakni  permainan bowling (X) dengan interaksi sosial (Y) adalah 0.961 dengan menunjukkan tingkat hubungan yang kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine the form of instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD 2) to determine teachers' efforts in instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD 3) To determine teachers' obstacles in instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a research approach using a sociological and psychological approach. This study uses data analysis techniques with the process of reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Storytelling is one of the basic competencies in PAUD that can improve the quality and services to educators and stimulate aspects of child development through the storytelling method. The results of the study showed that there are three forms of instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD at Nurul Amin Kindergarten, Carigading Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency, namely a) Religious values b) Honesty values c) Social care. Furthermore, there are teacher efforts in instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD at Nurul Amin Kindergarten, Carigading Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency, namely the storytelling/storytelling method, asking children to tell fairy tales that have been heard. Furthermore, the teacher's obstacles in instilling character education values through storytelling activities in AUD at Nurul Amin Kindergarten, Carigading Village, Awangpone District, Bone Regency, namely the lack of focus from children during the learning process.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the use of gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency and to determine the impact of gadgets on the morale of children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency. which uses descriptive qualitative research with pedagogic, psychological and sociological approaches to obtain the desired data using primary and secondary data. Then analyzed by: 1. Reducing the data, 2. presenting the data, and 3. drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are two forms of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, namely children often access YouTube applications, games and also Tiktok applications and children use different times, children use gadgets with duration under 1 hour, 1 hour and 2 hours a day which is used repeatedly and each use takes 10-15 minutes. There are two impacts of using gadgets on children's morals, namely positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of gadgets for children is that they can train and improve intelligence in terms of knowing literacy, thinking power, high curiosity and can also increase self-confidence for children. The negative impact is that the child has not been able to manage the time of using the device, emotions that still need to be controlled, showing angry emotions, crying, rebelling and even saying disrespectful words to parents and other people.

Abstract

This study aims to examine educators’ efforts in stimulating the development of creativity through loose parts media for children aged 5–6 years at TK Lestari, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process. Early childhood creativity is a skill that can be developed through appropriate stimulation. One approach to stimulating creativity is the use of loose parts media open ended or flexible materials that can be used in various ways to produce unique and interesting outcomes that foster creativity in children. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, educators, and learners as research subjects. The study focuses on the role of educators as guides and motivators in stimulating children's creativity through the stages of exploration, experimentation, and creative production. The findings reveal that educators guide children by providing initial examples and accompanying them flexibly without restricting their creative process. As motivators, educators offer support through verbal appreciation, praise, and the creation of an enjoyable learning environment. Supporting factors include the availability of materials, engaging learning approaches, and institutional support. Inhibiting factors identified include limited facilities, lack of storage space, and differences in children’s ability to respond to activities. Nonetheless, these challenges are addressed by educators through creative, adaptive, and solution oriented strategies   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya pendidik dalam merangsang perkembangan kreativitas melalui media loose parts pada anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Lestari, Kecamatan Tanete Riattang, Kabupaten Bone, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses tersebut. Kreativitas anak usia dini merupakan keterampilan yang dapat dikembangkan melalui stimulasi yang tepat. Salah satu pendekatan untuk merangsang kreativitas adalah penggunaan media loose parts, yaitu bahan terbuka atau fleksibel yang dapat digunakan dengan berbagai cara untuk menghasilkan karya unik dan menarik yang mendorong kreativitas anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologis. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Studi ini memfokuskan pada peran pendidik sebagai pembimbing dan motivator dalam merangsang kreativitas anak melalui tahapan eksplorasi, eksperimen, dan produksi kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik membimbing anak dengan memberikan contoh awal dan mendampingi secara fleksibel tanpa membatasi proses kreatif mereka. Sebagai motivator, pendidik memberikan dukungan melalui apresiasi verbal, pujian, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Faktor pendukung meliputi ketersediaan bahan, pendekatan pembelajaran yang menarik, dan dukungan lembaga. Faktor penghambat yang diidentifikasi antara lain fasilitas yang terbatas, kurangnya ruang penyimpanan, dan perbedaan kemampuan anak dalam merespons aktivitas. Meskipun demikian, tantangan tersebut diatasi oleh pendidik dengan strategi yang kreatif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada solusi.
