Abstract

Abstract: SMPN 1 Plumbon is one of the public schools in Cirebon Regency. Based on the results of observations, SMPN 1 Plumbon already has facilities that support digital-based learning. Technology can help teachers be more creative in developing learning in the classroom. One way to expand learning in the school is by utilizing creative learning media so students can be more active. Learning media can facilitate the achievement of specific learning goals. Based on this description, Community Service (PKM) was carried out on learning media in the form of a learning media workshop with the theme "AI-Based Learning Media Design Training (Artificial Intelligence)." This activity aims to train teachers in utilizing technology by creating AI-based interactive learning media (Artificial intelligence). The "AI-Based Learning Media Design Training (Artificial Intelligence)" was implemented on May 17, 2024, at SMPN 1 Plumbon with the resource person Mr. Jajang Rahmatudin, M.Pd. The training was carried out at 13.00, the training activity for AI-based interactive learning media design (Artificial intelligence). It began with the brief provision of material by the resource persons. After the provision of the material, the trainees were invited to try to design AI-based interactive learning media (Artificial intelligence) directly on the spot. The resource person explained the steps that must be taken, and then the participants followed the directions. Students help assist participants who have difficulties creating learning media. The implementation of the training went smoothly and well, and the trainees looked enthusiastic during the training activities.

Abstract

Background. The Student Work Lecture Program (KKM), held in Sadasari Village, Argapura District, Majalengka Regency, aims to address two main problems faced by the local community. The first problem is the low work efficiency of farmers, who still use traditional fertilizer-sowing tools that are not ergonomic, leading to physical fatigue and reduced agricultural productivity. The second problem is environmental pollution from liquid waste from tempeh production, which is directly discharged into rivers and irrigation canals, even though the waste has significant economic potential if processed properly. Purpose. To overcome these problems, the KKM team developed two innovative solutions, namely designing an ergonomic fertilizer sowing tool made of PVC and durable materials that are lighter and easier to use, and processing tempeh liquid waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) using simple materials such as tempeh waste, EM4, and molasses. Method. This program is carried out through five systematic stages starting from preparation, problem identification, innovation design, implementation through socialization and practical training to farmer groups and MSME actors, to program evaluation. The socialization activity also involved the Argapura District Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in providing additional materials and ensuring the sustainability of the program. Results. The results of this program include increased knowledge and skills among the community in using appropriate technology for agriculture, as well as new skills in processing waste into products of economic value. Conclusion. This program has not only reduced environmental pollution but also opened new business opportunities for the people of Sadasari Village. With a participatory approach that actively involves the community in every stage. Implementation. This KKM program is expected to be sustainable, have a long-term positive impact on the welfare of village communities, and serve as a model that can be replicated in other villages with similar problems.

Abstract

Background. Students' learning readiness is an important factor in supporting the success of mathematics learning at the junior high school (SMP) level. However, the implementation of cognitive diagnostic assessments in schools remains suboptimal in terms of methodology, accuracy, and sustainability. Purpose. This study aims to apply technology-based cognitive diagnostic assessment using the Smart Apps Creator application to measure students' readiness for mathematics learning in a more systematic and integrated manner. This activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Plumbon and SMP Negeri 2 Plered in Cirebon Regency, involving teachers and students as the main participants. Method. The methods used include the observation stage, planning, data collection, product design, validation, trial, revision, and implementation. The assessments developed are integrated with Microsoft Excel to facilitate the processing and analysis of learning outcome data. Results. The results of the activity showed that the application of cognitive diagnostic assessments based on Smart Apps Creator increased the effectiveness of measuring students' learning readiness and assisted teachers in identifying learning characteristics and needs more accurately. Conclusion. The use of this technology also improves teachers' competence in designing and analyzing assessments in a sustainable manner. Implementation. The application of cognitive diagnostic assessments through digital applications can be an innovative solution to support more adaptive, needs-oriented mathematics learning.
