Abstract

Abstract— The reading garden as a place for learning activities is still quiet of enthusiasts and visitors. In fact, the reading park should be able to become a supporter to increase new literary characters. Taman Baca must support the out-of-school program curriculum. The village reading park must act as a learning tool for the community. The reading garden must be able to be a source of information that provides resources from books and other reading materials. Village reading parks should have reference materials for learning and academic activities. The reading garden must also be a source of entertainment (recreation) that provides recreational reading material to take advantage of leisure time. The activities carried out in the form of socialization and mentoring of learning in Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM). This program aims to foster reading interest and a love of reading in rural children, thus enriching the learning experience for citizens and adding insight into science and technology. The socialization activities in TBM are about five Basic Principles of Literacy Development and Implementation. While the assistance activities are in the form of applying learning styles with the Fleming Model. Keywords—: TBM; Literacy; Fleming Model.

Abstract

This research moves from the reality of media life of area in Madiun of East Java which experiencing changes in line with social politics situation of Indonesia. Media is a commodity that can be exchanged, it is exploit all the potential and various social forces that exist. This study aims to know and analyze the stuctutation of regional mass media, the weekly magazine of Kridha Rakyat in Madiun, East Java. The theory used is the political economy approach that is the structuration according to Vincent Mosco. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection technique through interview, observation, ethnography and content analysis. The results show that the media perform the process of production and reproduction of power structures by media rulers (owner) by utilizing media agents and social relationship with other structure outside media. The media produces a series of power-reinforcing powers that ultimately reinforce the media's position.

Abstract

In general, small-beginner workshops only apply traditional marketing and run as simple as possible. Problems arise as a result of the management of the marketing management of the workshop owner who is unable to answer the demands of the customer, causing loss of customers. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the integrated marketing services of the Suzuki Magetan workshop? this research is expected to be able to develop knowledge in the field of marketing communications, especially integrated marketing services, as well as providing knowledge to business startups to be used as a reference and help increase the number of customers. Customer is an asset that determines the company's growth and development. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, because it examines the integrated service marketing of a service company and uses qualitative descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques are complete participatory observation, unstructured interviews and documentation to obtain supplementary data. The purpose of this research are to improve the ability of researchers in the field of marketing communication, to be a means for researchers to publish the results of research in national scientific journals, initiating research road maps for researchers.

Abstract

Abstract— The existence of YouTube since 2005, is currently the second most popular social network in the world after Facebook. YouTube users in the world 1.9 billion. YouTube is used to share content and comments. This video-based social media is used to share videos and comment on one another. YouTube users in Indonesia have reached 50 million people. This research will look at how YouTube's Atta Halilintar and Ricis Official content constructions are recipients of the Diamond Play Button award, and how the creative strategy used by YouTuber in its video content. The results of this study are YouTube being the most active social platform used in Indonesia today. Youtube is used for identity and as a promotional media based on PPC (Pay Per Click) where every video that is deemed eligible in it contains Google Adsense ads. Youtube is a money field for many YouTubers in Indonesia with creative concepts according to popular culture. Keywords—: YouTube; Creative Strategy; Video Content; Construction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang representasi makna cinta lingkungan dalam iklan Rinso edisi “yuk mulai bijak sampah” yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana  cinta lingkungan disimbolkan dalam iklan Rinso edisi “yuk mulai bijak plastik”. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bermaksud untuk menginterpretasi makna cinta lingkungan dalam iklan Rinso edisi “yuk mulai bijak plastik”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis teks. Objek yang diteliti adalah iklan Rinso edisi”yuk mulai bijak plastik”. Untuk menjawab penelitian digunakan analisis semiologi Roland Barthes. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa simbolisasi cinta lingkungan dalam iklan Rinso edisi “yuk mulai bijak plastik” meliputi audio (voice over), dan visual (objek dalam scene, cara pengambilan gambar). Makna cinta lingkungan yang terkandung dalam iklan antara lain yaitu makna dampak kurangnya mencintai lingkungan, lingkungan sebagai tempat seluruh makhluk hidup, pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, bijak dalam menggunakan plastik, mengajarkan sadar lingkungan sejak dini, sikap gotong royong, pentingnya membuang sampah pada tempatnya, dan sadar lingkungan untuk kelanjutan generasi selanjutnya. Adapun mitos dari keseluruhan iklan ini menjelaskan bahwa makna cinta lingkungan adalah sadar, menjaga, dan melestarikan lingkungan tersebut. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar masyarakat terkhususnya penonton televisi lebih selektif dan kritis dalam memaknai pesan iklan yang ada.

Abstract

This thesis is titled Gender Construction in Intimate Relationship on “Friendzone: Lempar Kode Sembunyi Hati” Novel by Alnira (A Framing Analysis). The purpose of this research is to find the expression of feelings between men and women in intimate relationships through the novel characters, and discover the relationships that exist between gender construction and intimate relationships through the analysis of the Gamson and Modigliani framing models. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, where the data presented, are not in the form of numbers and more emphasis on meaning rather than generalization. Data collection techniques used are using documentation techniques and unobtrusive observation techniques, where this technique is a technique used to examine texts, and audio-visual recordings. This research was conducted during the 2019 October to January 2020. The research object is the novel “Friendzone: Lempar Kode Sembunyi Hati” by Alnira, that released on February 2018 with 300 pages. Then the object is dissected using the Gamson and Modigliani Framing analysis model to see how the expression of feelings constructed by gender in Dira and Ransi characters on the novel. The results of this research are, gender can affect the expression of a man and woman in expressing their feelings, where men express their feelings through gestures and non-verbal actions, while women need a recognition of the status of the relationship through their verbal. In addition, gender construction will influence the success of intimate relationships between men and women, if misunderstandings that occur due to differences in conversation patterns can be resolved.

Abstract

Television advertisement is an effective medium that aims to market a product or service, because it combines audio and visuals. therefore television advertisement can effectively influence the audience to buy the product or service. Advertisement nowadays does not only convey promotional messages, but can also be a medium for delivering social messages. That is one form of the function of the media, which is to educate the public. The research entitled Representation of Morality in the Teh Botol Sosro Advertisement "Semeja Bersaudara" version analyzed the morality value in a television advertisement from ready-to-drink tea producers, Teh Botol Sosro entitled "Semeja Bersaudara" which began airing in early 2019. In this study researchers used Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotics theory with triangular meaning analysis tools in the form of Signs, Objects and Interpretations. In addition, researchers also use representation theory from Stuart Hall in interpreting messages in advertisements. The results of this study found that the "Semeja Bersaudara" version of Teh Botol Sosro advertisement represented a message in the form of morality. There are nine values of morality that can be taken in this advertisement including, friendly attitude, sharing, empathy, help, not prejudice, no discrimination, harmony, tolerance between religious communities and cross-cultural tolerance. The message conveyed in this advertisement is how the general public can understand how every human action in social life has moral values, so that the public can understand and apply moral values in order to live a better life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the acceptance of followers of the Instagram @unmermadiun account for content (photos, videos, texts) in building the meaning of education on Instagram social media. The paradigm of this research is constructivism with the type of qualitative research. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Technical data analyst with the stages of data collection, data selection, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The theory used is Reception Theory Analysis by Stuart Hall. The informants of this study were fourteen people who followed the Instagram account @unmermadiun with different backgrounds. The results showed that three out of ten informants were in the dominant position, four were in the negotiating position, and the informant with the opposite position was not found. (1) In a dominant position, the informants interpret that the contents of the Instagram account @unmermadiun as a goal to build educational meaning, so they also like and agree with it and apply the thoughts conveyed by the account. (2) In a negotiating position, the informant has meaning and is reluctant to take it for granted, understanding the mind at first is important to them. Keywords : Receptions, Social media, Instagram

Abstract

Abstract-- The aims of this study were (1) to find out student opinions in the implementation of Real Work Lectures at the Merdeka University of Madiun; (2) to find out the process of forming student opinions in the implementation of Real Work Lectures at the Merdeka University of Madiun; and (3) to determine the factors that influence the formation of student opinions in the implementation of Real Work Lectures at the Merdeka University of Madiun. This study is a qualitative descriptive study where the data obtained from the study were analyzed in words without using statistical methods which were then drawn conclusions. The purpose of descriptive research in this study is to describe student opinions in the implementation of the Merdeka Madiun University Real Work Lecture. The population or subjects of this study were students participating in the Real Work Lecture, the Chair of the LPPM, the Chair of the KKN Committee, the KKN Monev Team, Field Supervisors and Village Heads. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews and observation. While the analytical method used in this research is to use qualitative analysis methods, namely methods that aim to provide a comprehensive picture of the subject under study and are not intended to test hypotheses. The conclusion of the study shows that (1) students' opinions on the implementation of Real Work Lectures are mostly supportive and some are not; (2) student opinion is formed by perception. Furthermore, opinions can lead to attitudes in the form of feelings, understanding and behavior. After the opinion that gives rise to an attitude will lead to an agreement which will later lead to public opinion;and (3) the factors forming students' opinions on the implementation of the Real Work Lecture include cultural factors, past experiences, values held by the community and branching news.
