Abstract

One of the IT campuses in Denpasar - Bali, Primakara University has used e-learning to help activities for the campus community, especially students. Primakara initially used Moodle-based e-learning called SPADA, then used Edlink when its status changed to a university. To find out students' difficulties when using Edlink mobile, it is necessary to carry out a usability evaluation. Usability can identify problems with the system design that can be experienced by users so that they can be corrected and minimize user errors. The use of the RTA technique is to determine the obstacles or problems experienced by users, while the SUS technique is to determine the level of user satisfaction. From the RTA technique, it can be seen that most of the problems faced by users are difficulty finding features because their location is hidden or the name does not match the purpose of the feature. The level of user satisfaction also shows poor results because the user's SUS score is 56.24. This score is included in grade D with an OK category, a marginal level of user acceptance, and a detractor net promote score. It can be concluded that the results of the usability evaluation of Edlink mobile at Primakara University are not good so improvements or reassessment are recommended to improve the quality of Edlink mobile.

Abstract

The effectiveness of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) systems requires a robust fault detection mechanism, a task effectively accomplished by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, the current centralized learning approach proves inadequate. In response to this limitation, Federated Learning (FL) enables decentralized training, ensuring the protection of individual data. The traditional FL settings are not sufficient to provide an effective learning process, which needs to be refined. This paper introduces an Adaptive Distributed Client Training (ADCT) mechanism designed to optimize performance for each FL participant, thereby establishing an efficient and resilient system. The proposed ADCT utilizes two parameters, namely the accuracy threshold and grid search step, to find the optimal hyperparameter for each client in a specific number of federation rounds. The evaluation results, conducted using the MNIST and FMNIST datasets in non-IID settings, indicate that the proposed ADCT enhances the F1-score by up to 37.13% compared to state-of-the-art methods.

Abstract

In the modern era, the utilization of technology and information systems has become one of the most effective tools for disseminating information. Guwang Village, located in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, does not yet have a village website, leading to village activities and promotional information being poorly communicated to the wider community. This situation has resulted in the potential of Guwang Village not being widely recognized by either local residents or potential tourists. To address this issue, the Village Government collaborated with Primakara University and the Community and Village Empowerment Agency of Gianyar Regency through the Accelerated Digital Village Program to develop a village website. The primary objective of this initiative is to create a village website as a medium for disseminating information on Village Government activities and promoting the tourism potential of Guwang Village to a broader audience. As a result, a village website containing information on village activities and tourism potential was successfully created and implemented. This website is expected to serve as an effective tool for advancing Guwang Village and attracting more attention from both the general public and tourists.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has impacted the way people think and perceive various activities. This swift progress, along with its wide-ranging potential applications, opens up opportunities for quick access to and dissemination of information. In village governance, information technology is used to quickly disseminate information and provide village services. The village of Pupuan has implemented the OpenSID village information system. However, it is not yet fully utilized by the village staff because the data on the website has not been fully entered. Additionally, there are no guidelines for submitting requests on the village website. Based on this situation, the researcher conducted activities such as optimizing the village website database, creating articles on the village website, and creating user manuals and instructional videos for the website's services. These activities are expected to provide the benefits of a village information system to the government of Pupuan Village and the local community. As a result, the OpenSID website of Pupuan Village was successfully managed and developed through these activities, and the village staff gained a better understanding of the website's services through the provided training and user manuals.

Abstract

To obtain trends and impacts that may occur in the Bali tourism industry after the pandemic requires tourism actors to maintain the existence of the tourist beauty and culture they have. This research aims to develop a sentiment analysis system in the Bali tourism sector using the Naive Bayes algorithm and the Web Framework. This research stages carried out include Data Collection (Scraping), Data Cleaning, Feature Extraction, Modeling, and Web Platform Development. The data used was 2779 review data. The results show that most of the visitor reviews are in the "Very Positive" category, namely 1244. Next, 776 reviews are in the "Positive" category, 328 "Neutral”. The words that appeared most frequently included “place”, “walk”, “beautiful”, “nice”. The evaluation results show that the Bayes algorithm shows an accuracy value of 71%, which means Naive Bayes produces sufficient accuracy for sentiment analysis. In this research, we succeeded in developing a website with a web framework to predict the sentiment of a review in real time and it is hoped that it can help related parties understand and respond to reviews more effectively, improve the tourist experience, and advance the tourism sector in Bali.

Abstract

The internship activities carried out at PT Jasamarga Bali Tol aim to gain an in-depth understanding of operational processes and customer service dynamics in the toll road industry. Through direct observation in the field, interviews with various stakeholders, and comprehensive analysis, intern students succeeded in identifying a number of development opportunities that could provide added value to the company. Good observation, communication and analysis skills have enabled intern students to formulate recommendations that are practical and oriented towards improving service quality and company competitiveness. The evaluation results show that the internship activity can be assessed as very good, not only in terms of achieving goals, but also in developing the intern's professional competence. The suggestion put forward is to expand the scope of internship activities to strategic aspects of the company and provide opportunities for intern students to be directly involved in implementing recommendations. Overall, student collaboration can be used as an example of best practice for other companies.

Abstract

Pulau Bali merupakan salah satu tujuan destinasi wisata yang sangat populer di Indonesia. Salah satu destinasi wisata alam yang populer yang ada di pulau Bali saat ini adalah Nusa Penida yang memiliki potensi untuk di kembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi e-tourism yang berupa sistem informasi marketplace penyewaan kendaraan berbasis website ini dapat di akses secara luas oleh masyarakat melalui halaman website. Aplikasi yang akan dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk membantu wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Nusa Penida untuk mencari penyewaan kendaraan sebagai sarana transportasi dalam perjalanan berlibur selama di Nusa Penida. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu sarana informasi dalam mencari penyewaan kendaraan sesuai dengan tipe kendaraan yang diinginkan di objek wisata Nusa Penida.

Abstract

Kematian adalah hal yang paling memberikan perasaan cemas terutama bagi setiap manusia. Adanya suatu bencana merupakan suatu penyebab terjadinya kematian dimana bencana dapat diklasifikasikan yaitu bencana alam, bencana non alam dan penyakit, dan bencana sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengetahui bencana apakah yang paling berdampak pada menurunnya jumlah penduduk Indonesia, dengan mengetahui ini akan memberikan persiapan dini dalam antisipasi bencana diindonesia. Metode SVM (Support Vector Machine) digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk analisis data mining dalam klasifikasi penyebab kematian di Indonesia. Hasil dari analisa yang telah diteliti menggunakan pendekatan SVM (Support Vector Machine) menggunakan data sampling sebanyak 81% dan sample pengganti sebanyak 20 instances dengan perulangan sebanyak 100 kali jadi hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu penyebab yang paling tinggi dikarenakan terjadinya bencana non alam dan penyakit yang mencapai hingga 0,9 persen.

Abstract

Mahasiswa non-aktif merupakan mahasiswa yang tidak melakukan registrasi awal atau tidak melakukan perkuliahan selama satu semester. Adanya mahasiswa non-aktif di suatu perguruan tinggi akan berdampak menurunnya nilai perguruan tinggi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi mahasiswa yang berpotensi non-aktif di kampus STMIK Primakara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Knowledge Discovery from Data (KDD) dengan lima tahapan yaitu: selection, preprocessing, transformation, data mining, dan interpretation/evaluation. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan permintaan data riwayat perkuliahan mahasiswa kepada kampus STMIK Primakara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa dengan nilai IPK 0 – 1.99 atau 2.00 – 2.75, Jenis Tinggal Kontrakan atau Kos dan Jarak ke kampus cukup dekat, jauh dan sangat jauh diprediksi mahasiswa yang berpotensi non-aktif. Adapun atribut yang paling mempengaruhi mahasiswa berpotensi non-aktif di kampus STMIK Primakara adalah IPK sedangkan yang tidak terlalu mempengaruhi adalah status pembayaran SPP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi minat penggunaan sistem manajemen pembelajaran SPADA di STMIK PRIMAKARA. Penelitian ini menggunakan Unified Theory Of Acceptance And Use Of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2) untuk mengukur faktor kunci (harapan kinerja, persepsi usaha, faktor sosial, dukungan fasilitas, motifasi hedonis, nilai harga dan kebiasaan) yang mempengaruhi niat dan perilaku penggunaan SPADA di STMIK PRIMAKARA. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Proportionate random sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 86 mahasiswa dan 27 dosen aktif di STMIK PRIMAKARA. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM dengan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan responden mahasiswa menunjukan bahwa konstruk harapan kinerja, persepsi usaha, dukungan fasilitas, motifasi hedonis dan kebiasaan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat dan perilaku penggunaan SPADA sedangkan konstruk faktor sosial tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap niat dan perilaku penggunaan SPADA. Disamping itu adapun hasil penelitian berdasarkan responden dosen yang menunjukan bahwa seluruh konstruk yang ada memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap niat penggunaan SPADA. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, STMIK PRIMAKARA dapat mengetahui penerimaan dan penggunaan sistem SPADA saat ini, sehingga dapat meningkatkan aspek faktor sosial pada pengembangan sistem SPADA kedepannya.
