Abstract

Language is one of cultures that cannot be separated from human life. Indonesian language studied by expatriate students in the BIPA program becomes a bridge and a means of communication that can produce interaction between foreign students who have different cultures. However, as Indonesian Language learners, expatriate students from various countries certainly experience obstacles in communication. This study aims to find out more about intercultural communication practices among expatriate students in the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program at the International Language Institute, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, using a post-positivistic paradigm in which the data obtained in this study are through interviews and participant observation. Interviews were conducted with four informants from different countries representing the majority and minority countries. The results showed that in the practice of intercultural communication, students used a lot of primary communication patterns, where students used verbal and non-verbal symbols, and secondary communication patterns, where students used tools / media that helped the communication process such as the use of dictionaries and Google Translate. In this study also found that students experience various cultural phenomena including cultural adaptation, acculturation, assimilation, and culture shock.

Abstract

Media sosial dengan cepat menjadi outlet stasiun televisi dalam menayangkan berita di luar program yang dimilikinya. Pengabungan platform yang sudah nyata dilakukan adalah penggabungan media sosial dengan media kontemporer televisi. Konvergensi televisi dan media sosial berpotensi mendukung masa depan ekonomi baru untuk jurnalisme. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konvergensi televisi dan media sosial dalam distribusi konten berita daerah di SCTV.  Teori yang mendukung penelitian ini adalah konvergensi kontinum. Model ini berfungsi sebagai instrumen untuk mendefinisikan dan mengevaluasi tahapan proses konvergensi yang terjadi dalam suatu ruang berita, dan bukan untuk menilai keberhasilan suatu ruang berita. Lima tahap tersebut terdiri atas tahap cross promotion, cloning, coopetition, content sharing, full convergence.Studi kasus digunakan sebagai suatu penjelasan komprehensif yang berkaitan dengan berbagi aspek seseorang, suatu kelompok, suatu organisasi, suatu program atau suatu situasi kemasyarakatan yang diteliti, diupayakan dan ditelaah sedalam mungkin. Studi kasus fokus pada distribusi konten berita daerah pada kanal Liputan 6 di Youtube. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan obeservasi lingkungan terhadap sampel penelitian. Key informan adalah Manajer Pengembangan Konten Berita Daerah, Lita Hariyani, yang bertanggung jawab merancang konten dan mendistribusikan konten berita dari biro daerah di seluruh Indonesia untuk ditayangkan di televisi dan media sosial.

Abstract

Secara konkret kewajiban negara menyangkut Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) diwujudkan dengan melindungi HAM setiap individu dari penyalahgunaan kekuasaan negara, menjamin eksistensi HAM setiap individu dalam ketentuan hukum maupun di dalam pelaksanaannya dan memenuhi HAM setiap individu. Begitu juga upaya menghormati, melindungi, dan menjunjung tinggi HAM menjadi kewajiban dan tanggung jawab bersama antara individu, aparatur pemerintahan, militer, dan juga negara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data yang relevan dan terfokus pada inti permasalahan yang sedang dibahas, sehingga tidak ada distorsi atau ketidakjelasan dalam analisis. Dengan mengakui dan melindungi hak asasi manusia, suatu negara menegaskan komitmenya terhadap prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dan perlindungan terhadap setiap individu. Peran lembaga penegak hukum, seperti kepolisian, kejaksaan, dan peradilan, sangatlah penting dalam memastikan pemenuhan dan perlindungan hak asasi manusia dalam konteks sistem hukum tata negara. Keberhasilan lembaga-lembaga ini dalam menegakkan hukum secara adil dan transparan menjadi kunci dalam memastikan keadilan bagi semua individu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the process of spreading Teaching Campus Program innovations and the decision process for accepting (adopting) Teaching Campus Program innovations, especially at stage III. To realize the research objectives, this research uses qualitative research methods with a constructivist paradigm. Through the constructivist paradigm in question, researchers can describe social reality, through direct and detailed observations of Campus Teaching Program participants who utilize digital media naturally and see these activities in real life, creating a construction process by remembering and re-expressing experiences, the ability to compare and make decisions. from the results of interviews, and observations. The research results show that the diffusion process which includes relative, advantages, and compatibility elements strengthens the innovation adoption process. The decision process for accepting (adopting) the Campus Teaching Program III innovation goes through the same adoption stages based on the order of the 5 adoption stages proposed by Rogers, namely knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. The adopter category based on how quickly they accept the Campus Teaching Program III innovation is divided into four types, namely: innovators (innovators), early adopters (pioneers), early majority (followers), late majority (late followers).

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the Brand Communication Strategy implemented by CV Inti Persada in building Brand Awareness. CV Inti Persada, as the subject of the study, is a company operating in the cleaning services sector, competing with other major cleaning companies. With the increasing competition in the business landscape, understanding how brand communication strategies can influence brand awareness is key to achieving success. The study will discuss fundamental theories related to brand communication and brand awareness. The research approach to be used is qualitative, employing a case study research method and a constructive paradigm.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore how Participative Leadership, Knowledge Sharing, and Proactive Personality influence Innovative Work Behavior in employees who are graduates from creative industries in Jakarta. The research was conducted on 154 respondents who met the research criteria, by distributing questionnaires online. The data processing method uses SEM PLS. The research results show that Participative Leadership has an influence on Knowledge Sharing. However, Participative Leadership has no effect on Innovative Work Behavior. Proactive Personality has an influence on Knowledge Sharing, Proactive Personality has an influence on Innovative Work Behavior, and Knowledge Sharing has a role that can influence Innovative Work Behavior in employees.
