Abstract

Dusun Sambirejo and Dusun Tapansari, located in Desa Watusigar, Ngawen Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul Regency, Central Java, hold considerable untapped creative economic potential, particularly in the tourism sector. This potential stems from the area's natural beauty, cultural traditions, and unique local products such as traditional hats, soy milk, horticultural snacks, recycled crafts, and herbal medicine. However, several challenges have been identified, including limited community skills in producing creative products, lack of knowledge regarding effective packaging techniques, and restricted market access. The goal of this community service activity is to strengthen the entrepreneurial capacity of the community through creative economy initiatives in both villages. The method employed is a participatory ethnographic approach, which provides an in-depth understanding of the social and cultural environment of the target community. The results of this initiative indicate a high potential for developing a creative economy based on the area's natural and cultural wealth. This potential can be optimized through innovations in attractive and environmentally friendly packaging, improvements in production efficiency, and broader marketing strategies, including digital marketing. These innovations are expected to enhance the economic value of local products, expand market access, and significantly contribute to the economic improvement of the community at both regional and national levels

Abstract

Glamping is a nature-based accommodation alternative popular in various parts of the world. Glamping is developing rapidly in all parts of the world, but research on the keyword glamping has yet to be widely discussed. Researchers use bibliometric analysis methods to present visualizations and knowledge about glamping. Researchers searched for SCOPUS and SINTA indexed articles published between 2019-2024 via Publish or Perish (PoP) software application. There were 245 published documents found, and only 26 published documents successfully passed the exception selection. Researchers formulated two problem statements: "What are the research trends on glamping?" and "Is the topic of glamping amenable to further research?". This research aims to determine trends in glamping research from 2019-2024 and to determine the development of glamping research to provide recommendations for glamping research in the future. Researcher found ten keyword trends on glamping: glamping, camping, tourism, sustainable tourism, accommodation, experience, accommodation environment, glamping tourism, word of mouth, and tourist resources. Abstract

This research examines sustainable tourism development in Jakarta, which faces significant challenges such as environmental pollution, ecosystem damage, and non-integrated policies. The aim of the research is to understand the dynamics of tourism management and the role of society in creating desires. The methods used included in-depth interviews with 30 informants from various backgrounds, focus group discussions (FGD), and participatory observation. The research results show that although it provides economic benefits, its negative impacts on the environment and social life of society must be overcome through collaboration between government, industry and society. Community involvement in tourism planning has proven important to ensure that policies are appropriate to local needs. This research concludes that tourism policy must be more responsive and integrated, by increasing community participation and awareness of desires. Suggestions for the DKI Jakarta government are to develop educational programs that support desires and involve the community in decision making. Tourists are also expected to better appreciate local culture and the environment in their experiences. Through these steps, tourism development in Jakarta can be carried out in a more sustainable and inclusive manner. Keywords: sustainable tourism, community involvement, environmental management
