Abstract

This research aims to improve students scientific process and aspects of knowledge, as well as to know activity and the response of the students through the application of science learning assisted PhET Simulation Program to 30 students of eight grades in junior high school. This research was experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. Data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative results: (a) Students science process skills are increase with an average value post test results of 80 (N-gain; 0.71 with high criteria); (b) Students aspects of knowledge are increase with an average value post test results of 80 (N-gain; 0.74 with high criteria); (c) Frequency of activities that do experiment/ observation that by 18.3 percent while activities that students do at least is behavior that is not relevant to KBM by 3%; (d) The students positive response to learning process (83% with very strong criteria). Conclusion of this research that application of science learning assisted PhET simulation program can improve students process skills and aspects of knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract

Dedication to improving the productivity and welfare of coffee farmers in Rindu Hati village by using biochar made from coffee husk waste. The aim is to coordinate and socialize coffee farmers in increasing production and soil quality in coffee plantations in Rindu Hati village. The method used in this non-profit activity is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to share information within coffee farmer groups. Social service activities occur in Rindu Hat Village, Central Government of Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province. The target group is the Simpang Bening Farmer Group. The service was carried out through observation and field school to bio-talk coffee husk waste for members of coffee farmer groups in Rindu Hati Village, Central Bengkulu Administrative Region. The objectives of the activities carried out are to increase the understanding of Simpang Bening farmer groups about the utilization of coffee bean shell waste and the use of coffee biochar to increase production and soil fertility in the coffee plantation of Rindu Hati village.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze trends in palm oil production and productivity in the PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Pangkalan Unit. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The data in this research uses secondary data in the form of time series data for 10 years from 2013 to 2022. Secondary data was obtained directly from PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit. This research uses trend projection analysis with a regression approach. Based on research results, palm oil (FFB) production data for 2013-2022 tends to experience production fluctuations. As predicted for the next 5 years, palm oil production and productivity tends to decline every year. Production and productivity problems which tend to decline at PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit require special attention for improvement in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the level of physical fitness of members of the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters who are in charge of staff and operations in the 12-minute running, pull-up or chinning, sit-up, push, and shuttle run test components. This research uses a qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis stage uses qualitative analysis, including data collection, reduction, delivery, and conclusions. The results of the research show the level of physical fitness of members of the National Police at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters who served in staff and operations for the period 2019 to 2019. 2023 received an overall score of 53.88 in the Fair (C) category; 2 (two) factors influence the level of physical fitness, namely internal and external factors. There is a relationship between physical fitness and performance level. Conclusion: The level of physical fitness of members of the National Police at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters who served in staff and operations from 2019 to 2019. 2023 received an overall score of 53.88 in the Fair (C) category. Abstract

Cookies merupakan salah satu makanan ringan sejenis biskuit yang biasanya terbuat dari tepung terigu yang selama ini diperoleh secara impor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan tepung mocaf dan tepung buah nipah sehingga diharapkan dapat menghasilkan formulasi terbaik cookies mocaf yang disukai konsumen dan mengurangi penggunaan tepung terigu sehingga konsumsi dan impor tepung terigu dapat menurun.  Penelitian diawali dengan pembuatan tepung nipah dan pembuatan cookies yang terdiri dari empat formulasi yaitu cookies Kontrol (0%); cookies A (20%); cookies B (30%); dan  cookies C (40%), kemudian dilakukan pengujian organoleptic dengan menggunakan uji hedonik yang meliputi warna, aroma, rasa, tekstur dan overall untuk mengetahui daya terima terhadap produk cookies yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan daya terima, formulasi produk cookies terbaik adalah produk cookies C dengan penambahan 40% tepung nipah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan, harga barang, variasi barang, jarak lokasi, pelayanan, dan juga lingkungan eksternal terhadap pilihan berbelanja konsumen di Hypermart. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer, yang merupakan data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari sumbernya dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara terhadap mahasiswa asal jakarta yang sedang menempuh perkuliahan di Universitas Brawijaya. Sehingga penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sampling dengan responden sebanyak 50 mahasiswa universitas brawijaya. Pengolahan data menggunakan software SPSS for Windows 20.00 serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pendapatan, harga barang, variasi barang, jarak lokasi, pelayanan, dan juga lingkungan eksternal terhadap pilihan berbelanja konsumen di Hypermart. Hasil analisis untuk model ini menunjukkan pendapatan dan harga barang tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pilihan berbelanja konsumen di pasar moderen, sedangkan untuk variasi barang, jarak lokasi, pelayanan, dan juga lingkungan eksternal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pilihan berbelanja konsumen di pasar moderen .Kata Kunci: Pendapatan, Harga barang, Variasi barang, Jarak lokasi, Pelayanan, Eksternalitas, Pasar moderen, Pilihan berbelanja konsumen, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze influence of the STEAM Project learning model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) on students' critical and creative thinking abilities. The research was conducted on 15 class studentsVI at one of the elementary schools in Kulon Progo consisting of 8 male and 7 female students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with interview and observation techniques. Results Study Demonstrated better critical thinking and creativity skills and increased at the third and fourth meetings. At the third meeting, students began to show their ability to solve problems, namely by making a mechanical power generator. The ability to think creatively was seen at the third and fourth meetings, namely when their dream house was realized which looked aesthetic and beautiful. The final product of this activity is the result of project activities in the form of a miniature house with installation and electricity generator. The STEAM Project-based learning model has encouraged students to be able to plan problem solutions, be flexible in providing solutions, and create product designs that have aesthetic value.
