Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat merupakan upaya untuk memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dengan menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki. Dalam konteks ini, pembuatan produk sabun cuci piring dapat menjadi salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yang bermanfaat. Produk sabun cuci piring memainkan peran penting dalam kebutuhan sehari-hari masyarakat, dan melalui pelatihan yang tepat, siswa ekonomi lemah dapat belajar tentang bahan-bahan yang digunakan, langkah-langkah produksi, dan teknik pemasaran yang sesuai. Metode pelatihan untuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam pembuatan produk sabun cuci piring ialah metode demonstrasi dengan tahapan persiapan, pelakanaan dan eloborasi serta simpulan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan program ini telah berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan wirausaha siswa-siswa dan pemahaman mereka tentang proses pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Evaluasi dampak untuk jangka panjang menunjukkan potensi peningkatan jumlah peminat pelatihan wirausaha, potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi siswa dan masyarakat, dan munculknya keinginan untuk terlibat dalam pemberdayaan sosial-ekonomi di masyarakat setempat. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi peningkatan kualitas pelatihan dan ekspansi program ke wilayah atau sekolah lain.

Abstract

Abstract:  Dish soap making training can provide many benefits for community empowerment in Nagari Koto Tuo. This training can improve entrepreneurial skills, creativity, independence, and understanding of the production process and environmental awareness of the trainees. Therefore, training in making dish soap needs to be given to the nagari community as a form of community empowerment. This program of activities aims to: 1.) Improve the ability of the PKK Nagari Koto Tuo group to be skilled at entrepreneurship, 2.) Motivate to be active and creative in self-development of the PKK Nagari Koto Tuo group, 3). Have expertise in product tips and tricks, 4. Have skills in producing products. The method in this activity is the counselling and demonstration method in which direct demonstrations of making dish soap, clearly describe each step and provide practical examples to the PKK Nagari Koto Tuo group. The results obtained from community service activities are increased ability and motivation of the PKK Nagari Koto Tuo group in entrepreneurship and self-development as well as increased expertise and skills in producing products.Abstrak: Pelatihan pembuatan sabun cuci piring dapat memberikan banyak manfaat bagi pemberdayaan masyarakat di Nagari Koto Tuo. Pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan wirausaha, kreativitas, kemandirian, dan pemahaman tentang proses produksi serta kesadaran lingkungan peserta pelatihan. Program kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk :1.) Meningkatkan kemampuan kelompok PKK Nagari Koto Tuo untuk terampil berwirausaha, 2.) Memotivasi untuk aktif dan kreatif dalam pengembangan diri kelompok PKK Nagari Koto Tuo, 3). Memiliki keahlian tips dan trik produk, 4. Memiliki keterampilan memproduksi produk. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode penyuluhan dan demonstrasi dimana melakukan demonstrasi langsung tentang pembuatan sabun cuci piring, menggambarkan setiap langkah dengan jelas dan memberikan contoh-contoh praktis kepada kelompok PKK Nagari Koto Tuo. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah meningkatnya kemampuan dan motivasi kelompok PKK Nagari Koto Tuo dalam berwirausaha dan pengembangan diri serta meningkatnya keahlian dan keterampilan dalam memproduksi produk.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify and develop strategies for enhancing the leading agricultural commodities in Lareh Sago Halaban District. Methodology: The study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method and SWOT analysis to identify and analyze strategies for developing leading agricultural commodities. Results: The findings reveal that the leading agricultural commodities contributing to regional growth in Lareh Sago Halaban District include palm sugar, betel nut, tobacco, sweet potatoes, peanuts, corn, kaempferia, tomatoes, and beans. Findings: The main strategy for developing these leading agricultural commodities is to increase productivity through various recommended strategies, supported by government regulations or policies on production management, access to capital, human resource development, processing, and marketing. Novelty: This research provides insights into effective strategies for developing region-specific agricultural commodities. Originality: The study offers a detailed analysis of the strategies and government support necessary for enhancing the productivity and marketability of leading agricultural commodities. Conclusions: Enhancing the productivity of leading agricultural commodities requires a comprehensive strategy involving increased productivity, government support, access to capital, human resource development, and effective marketing.Type of Paper: Empirical Research Article

Abstract

This research aims to analyze trends in palm oil production and productivity in the PT Perkebunan Nusantara VI Pangkalan Unit. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The data in this research uses secondary data in the form of time series data for 10 years from 2013 to 2022. Secondary data was obtained directly from PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit. This research uses trend projection analysis with a regression approach. Based on research results, palm oil (FFB) production data for 2013-2022 tends to experience production fluctuations. As predicted for the next 5 years, palm oil production and productivity tends to decline every year. Production and productivity problems which tend to decline at PTPN VI Pangkalan Unit require special attention for improvement in the future.

Abstract

Sustainable agricultural technology is essential as a solution to the need for improving the quantity and quality of agricultural production. Reimplementing sustainable agricultural technology requires time, financial resources, energy, and efforts from all stakeholders. The adoption of sustainable agricultural technology is crucial to restoring and preserving the quality of agricultural commodities. The adoption process, which is expected to be carried out by farmers, must be accompanied by agricultural extension workers as representatives of the government. It is necessary to gather information on the extent to which the adoption process of this technology has been implemented. The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, as a qualitative social research approach, can serve as a tool for evaluating programs and gaining deeper insights into the collective behavioral patterns of farmers participating in these programs. The results of the FGD-based research revealed that the adoption rate among farmers has reached nearly 70%, with a success rate of 71%. The study also found that the success of farmers was significantly influenced by the contributions of related government agencies that provided sustainable agricultural technology, as well as by farmers’ own independent innovations. Moreover, the greatest success factor was the assistance provided by local agricultural extension workers

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana manfaat dan performa probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei terhadap penampilan produksi dan karkas broiler. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan, lima kali ulangan, dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 ekor ayam pedaging. Variabel yang diamati meliputi bobot akhir broiler, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), persentase karkas, konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan (FCR), dan indeks performans (IP) broiler. Analisis data menggunakan uji one way ANOVA dan DMRT untuk melihat pengaruh perlakuan dan beda hasil antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei dapat meningkatkan bobot akhir ayam pedaging, PBB, persentase karkas, menekan FCR, dan meningkatkan IP broiler (P<0,05), tetapi tidak berdampak terhadap konsumsi pakan broiler (P>0,05). Pemberian probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei ditemukan dapat meningkatkan produksi dan persentase karkas broiler. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa jenis probiotik ini (Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei) dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti AGP pada broiler.

Abstract

Oil palm harvesting is an important activity in oil palm management. The harvesting process involves cutting Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) from trees until the fruit arrives at the Yield Collection Point (TPH). The success of oil palm harvest is closely related to the harvester's knowledge of the harvest system, harvest ripening criteria, and harvest rotation. Employees get premiums because the employee works beyond normal working hours or overtime, works on holidays, or because of the employee's productivity work performance at work. Premium is an overpayment given by the company because employees have to work harder for various circumstances or uncomfortable working conditions. The purpose of this research is to (1). To find out what affects premiums at PT. Socfindo Tanah Gambus Kec. Lima Puluh District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra, (2). To find out the influence of work experience, work motivation, age, attendance and work performance on premiums at PT. Socfindo Tanah Gambus Kec. Lima Puluh, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from April to July. The methods used are quantitative methods and sampling techniques using Purposive Sampling. The results of the study of factors affecting premiums showed that work motivation (X2), attendance (X4) and work performance (X5) had a real effect on premiums. In this study, the most influential factor among other factors is work performance (X5) with a significant value (0.000) from the real level used, namely (0.05) or 5%, while work experience (X1) and age (X3) have no real effect on premiums because the definition value obtained from the results of data processing is greater than the real level used, which is (0.05). This study can conclude that the five factors that affect premiums are work motivation (X2) 0.0070.05 and work performance (X5) 0.0000.05 have a positive and significant effect while attendance (X4) 0.0170.05 has a negative and significant effect.
